We had a company event at this place and everything went really well. The process of reserving a room was easy and they had the room ready right at the time we wanted. The staff were friendly and our server was a really nice lady. The food was really good, we got the $95 per person menu and it was amazing. Their appetizer and desserts were delicious. I ordered a fillet mignon and it was cooked perfectly. I highly recommend it.

So we visited the Capital Grille, the restaurant ambiance and feel is that of a upper end restaurant. Everything was really good except one small problem was one of the stakes was overdone and the fish was rather cool instead of hot. I would have given it five stars if only one of our meals had an issue. One thing to note on the fish. Typically when restaurants bring fish the plate is usually warm. This plate was actually cold which meant it was most likely sitting for a while before it was served to us. I give props to the waiter as he took both meals back and brought two new ones but it was late and it added an extra 25 minutes to our visit. We will definitely return as the food was great and the atmosphere was really nice.

Listen to me, this place is amazing. I found this place from other reviews that spoke highly of it. From jump, making a reservation is smooth. Valet parking is a plus. The hostess accommodated my reservation changes with no issue on the day of gathering. I went here to celebrate birthdays for people I love and the atmosphere and service was beyond amazing. The food was cooked perfect and if you're thinking about appetizers...just do it! The servers were very attentive and polite. & the birthdays got a special surprise at the end. They definitely set the bar, and I'll be back!

I was invited to try this place and everything was top notch! Food was delicious!!! My husband and I had lamb chops, lobster, steak, Brussel sprouts, mashed potatoes, and the prosciutto!! The service was spot on. Kristy was our server and she out did herself. We will definitely be back! This was truly a memorable experience. Just wow. Price wise you’re on par with parc, beppe, mint29, firebird even. Quality wise, this makes those look like McDonald’s. Food is amazing, service is amazing, aesthetic is amazing. Just phenomenal. Top 5 restaurants in my life easy.

Went for New Year's Eve dinner. Food was great and so was Jay our server! The steak oscar was good. The stoli was as well!

High level service and food. The ambiance is very elegant and traditional, we really enjoyed the service, our steak was cooked perfectly and the lobster bisque was divine. Highly recommend for special occasions -check the dress code before coming and reservations are highly recommended!

First time dining here and it did not disappoint. Wife's birthday dinner so they decorated the table and really made it a special night. Had Bacon with Tomato Jam, French Onion Soup, Puccini mushroom rubbed Ribeye and the Creamed Corn. Everything was delicious, especially that corn. Sneaky good! Manager even gave my wife a side of Creamed Corn to go as a birthday gift. Even though we were stuffed, they gave my wife a special birthday dessert free of charge. Very cool. Definitely will be back.

It was my first name there. The waiter was very kind and accommodating however, knowing it was my first time. It was not all that great that he spoke really fast. The Wagu stake was throuh and through delicious. However, there was some gristle that wasn't. They had lobster Bisque. So I just had to order it. The lobster on top was dry and the soup base was not close to that rich flavor of Lobster Bisque that I crave. Therefore I did not eat the rest. But dessert was amazing in every sense. The Caesar salad dressing was not what I expected it to be either. Call me someone who has been born with a silver spoon in their mouth or with a fine taste palate. Im a Foodie. The dressing was not par. It tasted like it had some kind of vinegar in it. Which wasn't bad, but it wasn't the classic rich taste that I love.

Phenomenal service. Starters were great. Burger was nothing special maybe it’s better at lunch time.

Brandon, our server picked up right where Anne left us. His customer service and desire to ensure our experience was spot on was the icing on the cake. From introduction of the food selection, to arrival of our appetizer and drinks then main course, I knew I had made the right decision choosing The Capital Grille. The start of my birthday was made simply special by the staff @thecapitalgrille . My server Conrad made sure my wine and champagne glasses stayed filled and suggested the best temp for my steak. He was so kind and funny and attended to our every need. Patti the hostess was very patient and went well beyond to insure that I received my birthday surprises despite my being a bit emotional upon my arrival (mood swings 🥴). Alane the coordinator made my night beyond memorable. She tailored my evening so magically and incorporated every detail given by my wife. She even gave me long stem roses throughout my dinner which really made me feel catered to. If you have a special occasion or simply want an amazing meal because everything we ordered was scrumptious and mouth watering then you definitely have to book a reservation at The Capital Grille.

The food was excellent though too salty. The waitress purposely pushed expensive items and was for the most part unavailable. She made it very vague on purpose if the gratuity was added or not in order to scam us of an additional 18% tip. I hope that management update their training to wait staff to be more courteous and professional. I would not go there again .

Last night we had our grandson, and took him to see Santa at the mall. He is almost 3, and was too afraid to sit on his lap. Although we were very casually dressed, dinner at The Capital Grille sounded like a good way to "save" the night. Without a reservation, and with a little one, and probably under-dressed, we were graciously welcomed and served. One of the chefs brought our grandson a hat and apron, and Marianne also brought him a chefs hat! The food is always amazing, but the way we were treated was spectacular!

Excellent service by Gina. She was so kind to my 92 yo mother. Ask for her. Made reservations online with restaurant. Seated on time. The bread basket was delicious. It's a meal in it's self. We ordered filet mignon. I will always come here for it. Barrata was awesome. First time and not last time.

Stephanie was the best server I have ever had. Debra was an amazing hostess and brought my three year old a rose. I casually mentioned she was tired from my long birthday weekend, so the staff all went above and beyond to celebrate us.

Our waitress was Karen and she went out of her way for our table, she even made time to take pictures for us. I was there to celebrate my birthday and the food and service were awesome. Thank you to The Capital Grille for an Awesome birthday dinner❤ I shall return, Hi Karen👋🏾

Last weekend took my Mother for her 84th Birthday! Wow, the service exceptional 👏, the food was amazing. Perfectly cook filet. My daughter works as a server at the CG in Cleveland. She really enjoyed talking to the staff. We loved the beautiful painting of famous Michigan people. My Mother had a great time. And the desserts totally decadent!!!

We came here for our anniversary dinner earlier this week and our server Aaron and the team did everything to make our night special! The food was amazing and they really went the extra mile. Glad that this place is back and has not lost a step at all since they were gone. Will definitely be returning.

First time back since they reopened back up, and I must say my wife and I truly missed this place so much. The respect and love from the waiters, receptionist, chefs, and manager, are top notch. No other establishment compares. They made us feel like family and treated us with more than we could ask for! The filet was also perfectly cooked, and everything came out beautifully timed. Special thanks to our waiter Aaron and the manager Eric! Truly appreciate an amazing meal and environment for us to dine at!

The calamari was fabulous. There was an excitement in the atmosphere. Even though it was Father's day and they were busy, they found a table for me in the lounge. Next time, as a solo diner, I will sit at the bar. The chairs at the bar looked very comfy. The service was excellent. They have a lovely patio. People can get a table outside on the patio, if they wish. I will definitely be back.
