**edited to add that you have to walk a long way to get to the fields in the back like H4. Also, take the bridges as some spots Are full of water and they are slick! We love heardmont. The bathrooms are great! There’s a ton of room to spread out and exercise. There’s a playground, concession stands, the area gets flooded a good bit when it rains. The batting cages are primarily used for practice with the different teams there but we manage to sneak some time in them in between. This still isn’t Mayberry so watch your kids people! There are general repairs that need to be done with boards that come up on bridges and etc so use caution when walking, riding, or your kids are using their scooters. Also, as far as games go, there are a few ways to get into the park and there’s help for people who are handicapped or elderly to get to the back of the ballfields.

This is a lovely park with playground, trails (walking and biking), pickle ball courts, tennis courts, fields, and restrooms. There is a beautiful creek that winds through the park, with ample shaded picnic tables. I love coming here to eat lunch on a nice day or go for a walk or jog.

Found out about the park because of it's good pickle ball courts after the games walked around the park. This park has one of the most zen like stream that was running so smoothly and serene that I stopped in my tracks to just watch. If you like pickle ball, tennis, jogging paths and the most serenity in watching this beautiful little stream this is the place all I can say it was for me.

We went to look at the senior center as an option for a rehearsal dinner. It looks perfect--attractive, good size, good price, and very helpful and friendly.

What a great little park. Lots of walking and a playground for the little ones. Just don't die merging into traffic when you leave!

We held a church service there and it was great having the playground to keep the kids having fun. Nice location. Quiet on a Sunday morning but got active at noon

Now I don't usually review parks but this one is an exception, you have lots of paths to choose from. This park is very dog friendly and also there is a tennis court where you can play and multiple soccer fields as well. You can consider bringing your bike here too because there is not that many hills, just watch out for other people though!

I can't say enough good things about Heardmont Park in Shelby County! As a busy REALTOR, location is everything, and this place is a gem. The park's beautiful surroundings and well-maintained amenities make it an excellent selling point for homes in the area. The peaceful atmosphere and recreational options are a big hit with my clients. Plus, it's a great place for me to recharge after a long day of showings. Highly recommend!

Great walking paths and a very nice well-lit pickle court and tennis court. There are multiple soccer fields too and a small playground. A nice place to get a walk in and to play catch or pickle ball. They had a picnic area too.

I think it is a nice park. I was there only to play pickleball. The courts are nice. Pickleball players are very friendly and welcoming. Thank you to all the pickleball players that showed up July 3rd, 4th, and 5th in the mornings.

The playground equipment states that it is for five to twelve year olds, which seems to be reasonable. However, closer supervision should be used with younger children because there are no fences. The back side opens into a partially cleared wooded area with many small boulders on which to climb. They are mostly three feet or less tall. Past those is a wooded area that I didn't go into. I don't know if there are trails, but if there are, they are probably from kids playing, not by design. The road nearest to the playground didn't have much traffic. It probably wasn't a through road. All of the slides faced the sun when I was there, late morning, so the surfaces were too hot for use without long pants. That was a problem with the swings, too.

Some public water fountains for pets or desperate people would be really useful. Oh, and open the fields to the public. Wow. Maybe have people pick up dog droppings more often too, because the nasty people who “like this park” leave their dog waste all over it.

So much to do here for kids. Playground, fields. Ice cream truck. Also not even joking, the rocks and trees/thickets are an A+ play environment. Just gotta watch for snakes I guess.

The playground here is rad. Kiddos had a real good time playing. A neat and fun thing is the rocks/boulders off from the playground. Soooooo cool and fun to run around and play on and around. Get lost back here as an adult hopping around to Your younger years. You’ll feel like You’re 10 years young again. C’mon, let’s go! And seriously, where are the bathrooms?

Great public park with all kinds of activities. They also have regular pickle ball players if you're looking for a fun outdoor sport. Great place for all family excursions!

Lots to do here....from multiple sporting events (football, baseball, softball, soccer, tennis, pickle ball, etc) to miles of paved trails for casual walking or jogging. Pets are welcome (on leash) and there are miltiple areas for picnics. Concessions and multiple rest room facilities are available. There are beautiful creeks and streams throughout the park, wooded areas, as well as open fields for your pleasure. There is even an area for recycling near the football stadium.

Great place to walk, horrible if you're going here for the recycle bin. WM needs to get on it. I see it was picked up FINALLY since last time I was there 2 weeks ago, but already overfilling.

No concessions or score board. The fields themselves were kept nice. Good umps. Decent parking...

Our beloved park. It is so beautiful and clean at night and daytime. Kids love to play hide and seek among big rocks.

Visited for multiple soccer games. Outstanding fields and facilities. The fields stay damp, which is great for play, but be aware when choosing shoes that may absorb water on a cool day.

Awesome park, particularly if you live in the Indian Springs area. Nice walking trails, lots of ball fields, some outdoor work-out stations, nice playground. Clean and well kept property.

It's a good place as well as a stadium home to the Eagles of Oak Mountain. Every Friday, they usually have a Football game in 7 PM and it's a good place to go watch a game. There's not a lot in parking spaces but not as crowded during non season.

👍 Lake Loramie is always great. Especially w/ the snow falling. Nature itself along w/ the surrounding lake are really beautiful w/ the soft white covering. Not a lot of snow but just enough. There's not a lot of activity, however, there are a few men out here fishing. It was actually too cold for me...
