It was a good morning shooting my air rifle with my son , would be nice if they spent a bit of money extending the roof so it's all under cover and put some better tables for a shooting rest on the one half. It's some pallets in a field for you to attach your targets to. Nice bunch of lads there this morning all very safe. Great sporting supply shop on site, all items that you'd need at good prices.

Great fishing spot to fish tried all the pools good size carp coming out went Monday had 5 carp my highest of that day was 10.22 and ot good a great cafe on site as well friendly people all around

Nice fishery clean and tidy but lots of noise from air rifles and shotgun shooting. Was very cold day even had snow tried two lakes and only caught a few silvers. And a friend caught a nice carp at end of day. First time here will come back in the summer

Staff are excellent, the pools are well kept first time on vernan, it was hard fishing but managed to bag a few before we left. Shall be returning to try the oak pool tomorrow 👌

I've been shooting at this ground for 6 years now and its always been very friendly. Its nice and easy to checkin if your have your own licence and go shoot the traps. The traps are good and enjoyable - some are to challenge your skills. Just wish they'd update the sitting area inside to something more stylish and formal - tweed, stags on walls, big leather sofa's! Maybe something to consider. Otherwise my always go to place to shoot clays.

What a brilliant experience for our first time clay pigeon shooting. Declan our instructor was amazing very easy to understand guidance which helped us hit around 80 percent of our clays.We will definitely be back again very soon. Thank you so much 👍👍

Went for a 50th get together, not shot clays in a few years or been to Millride before, great place, the guy that supervised us was spot on, great sense of humour too (sorry I can't remember his name as he deserves a shout out), anyway, well worth the time to go & enjoy yourself

Had a great experience, we went to country sports to have a go with air rifles and from the first enquiry Elliot was more than helpful giving us information on times and different experiences available, prices etc, from the moment we got there it was a comfortable, relaxing experience; for a small price we upgraded and had a range of guns to try and use! He has heaps of experience and knowledge and I didn’t have a question he couldn’t answer! We enjoyed our experience so much so that we are now becoming members, and owners! and Elliot gave us a lot of encouragement and we felt so safe in his hands, I would 10000% recommend and with so much to offer there’s something for everyone, and for the price you could find a new hobby and something you love as we did!! Thay said on the phone that we can park right next to the fishing pools in a campervan as I had a disabled person with me . That was a lie . We travelled 140 miles . And the man would not open the gate for us to park close to the waters edge . . Thay told another person who was fishing the same . IF YOU ARE DISABLED AND EXPECT TO PARK CLOSE THEN THESE AINT THE POOLS FOR YOU . .. we stayed 1 night instead of 7 . Milride thanks for telling us lies and a waste of 280 miles round trip ...

Went here to shoot clays with a friend as a guest, shot about 80 shells from almost all of the stages there is about 8/9 that I counted with a good variety of angles and speeds for different skill levels. The cost seems pretty reasonable as I am not a regular (about 35p a clay) and the staff are friendly and helped with a minor issue with one of the launchers straight away. The sausage sarnie was also really nice before a shoot! 10/10 would recommend.

Friendly group of people who run this family business and nothing is too much trouble, very organized and there is lots of parking and a good shop for all the fishing and shooting needs. First class.

As some one that is disabled it's hard to find a good place but this place is the best the people are friendly and it's good experience

Great spot, just outside of Birmingham. Efficient booking process, great staff. We went clay pigeon. Cyril is a particularly good instructor! Lots of different hides/ stations.
