Great local establishment, speedy service and polite employees. I am writing to inquire about if the male employee with a short well groomed haircut and tattoo on his arm of some Asian characters/“letters” has a fetish/particular liking for Asian women or women from a specific area of the Asian continent? Let me know .

USPS is the best example of how inefficient Federal Agencies are. They've purposely not delivered to my apartments when it was still open and staff in the leasing office as well. Ok well that's fine. I place a request for redelivery, they say it's not able to be redelivered and I would HAVE to pick it up from the post office. Alright I place a pick up request and go there, they say they cannot find packages in my name at all and they tried convincing me that I had never even placed the request at all while I was trying to load it on my phone. They then take it to the manager and he comes up and says give me your phone number, i'll call you later. That's literally all, nothing regarding the package. I literally had to come into their office during a pandemic and they completely wasted my time for 30 mins, while not even saying they will try to redeliver. Manager doesn't care about anyone, he basically gets paid to print out a couple sheets of paper. There were instances of the drivers just leaving my packages on the footpath in front of my building when the leasing office was literally open, just a bunch of packages on the footpath. TLDR: USPS completely just wasted my time, told me to come pick up my package during a pandemic which they didn't attempt to deliver or attempt to redeliver, made me wait in there for 30 mins for the manager to come and tell me no package, and that he'll call me if he finds something(that's if he even bothers to look for it).

This morning at 10am, I walked in for new passport for my 1 year old nephew and his mother. The processor was very rude and in such a bad mood, she was literally banging the cabinets, she did not say hello or introduce herself I don't have a name, but she needs to work on how to work with clients. I paid to get a service, and some professionalism must be shown. My intentions aren't to hurt someone in anyways, but to fix the problem And improve the service experience. Very disappointed.

Went there for the first time ever. I was there to get my passport. The lady there by the name of I believe it was Jennifer was super awesome, she was super polite and very helpful. Made the process really fast and easy. So a big shoutout to her, she is amazing. And thank you so much for all the help!

Came here to this specific location for a passport for my daughter because I had such an amazing experience with the woman who previously worked here about a year ago for myself. Right off the bat the woman who came in the room was rude and seemed visibly annoyed with everyone in there even though we had an appointment like they suggest and was early like they suggest. She was rude, condescending, and seemed irritated by her entire job. Go somewhere else if you need a passport. An absolutely unacceptable way to treat people who HAVE to go through this process and don’t have other options.

Have lived in East Lansing for close to a year now and the only part I don't like about it is the mail delivery here. By far the worst of the 10 or so places I have lived across the state and US. I buy and sell rare books and prints and they are constantly crammed in my mailbox without any regard to whether or not they fit. I have tried to call the post office countless times and have never once gotten an answer, I have resorted to calling the DeWitt Post Office when I have a question. At this point I generally have my expensive items sent to my brother's house in Lansing so I know they will be delivered safe, but I messed up and had one shipped to my home and sure enough, despite it having a huge DO NOT BEND sticker on it, it was wadded up and crammed in my mailbox, ruining the artwork. So frustrating.

Absolutely horrible post office that cannot understand the simplest of requests. I asked for a package to be held, was given misinformation and spent hours calling people just to get "sorry for the inconvenience". I never received my package!

Some of the sweetest, most patient postal employees I've worked with. On two different occasions, when I wanted to use stamps instead of the standard postage label, they waited for me to paste them on. And they understood my love for stamps. I like sending out physical mail and letters, and I'm lucky to have such a delightful postal staff out here in East Lansing.

Came here earlier this week to renew my passport as I was showing the lady at the front desk my form she was very rude and condescending, when she pointed out mistakes on my form she kept speaking to me In a rude manner and rolling her eyes when I asked questions. Honestly you should quit your job if you are that unhappy with it that you are disrespectful to other people.

The ladies who work upfront are so kind and friendly. They have great customer service skills and very personable. I’m always smiling when I leave!

Oh my! My package was on the brink of being sent back to the sender because the post office wasn't certain about my address. After I called USPS and inquired, within just five minutes, the post office called me back and asked if I wanted redelivery service. Best service ever

I am applying for a replacement passport and Deb helped earlier today. I had searched online for passport application. I found a website and went through their application process for which there was $88.83 charge. I paid this charge with my credit card. Earlier today, when I was working with Deb she said that this charge was fraudulent and I should check with credit card company. With her efficient help (only took about 6 minutes) and her advice, my credit card company is challenging this charge. Thank you, Deb!

I can't speak to experiences others have had with the "passport people," but I CAN say that the general COUNTER people at the EL Post Office are just FANTASTIC - super friendly, knowledgeable, warm, personable, and helpful! Being the brother of a lifelong postal worker, I empathize with their workload and stress levels (both of which are extremely high), but the EL Postal Staff always display a positive attitude - even when they're hugely backed up and the CUSTOMERS are snippy. The superb quality of the EL staff is all the more salient to me and my wife, given that we're dual residents in a different state, and our post office THERE features taciturn, cold, and sometimes rude staff. Go EL!! :-)

Nicole is the best postal worker at this establishment!! She went out of her way to make my passport experience stress free and easy. She explained everything, what each fee meant, and broke down the entire process. She is truly a gem.

Worst service of any post office. Terrible staff who can't even speak to you like a human being.

I have yet to receive a package that wasn’t in good condition. However, we need to learn how communicate where you’re delivering said packages to. My past 3 orders were supposedly delivered to my front porch (according to the tracker), only for them to be delivered to my front office, which leads to me fighting with office hours to get it.
