This
is
going
to
be
a
long
one.
I
have
had
a
low
grade
fever
for
about
two
days
when
my
fever
went
up
to
102.5
yesterday
and
I
was
extremely
tired,
feverish.
I
remembered
that
my
good
friend
told
me
she
goes
almost
every
two
weeks
to
get
a
rapid
Covid
test
done.
After
looking
online
I
finally
found
the
place
she
told
me
about
and
I
called.
They
said
the
walk
in
wait
time
was
upwards
of
five
hours
and
gave
me
a
link
to
visit
online
to
schedule
an
appointment.
She
did
not
inform
me
that
this
visit
was
not
going
to
be
an
actual
screening.
I
did
understand
that
I
was
going
to
speak
with
someone
prior
to
my
testing.
This
appointment
was
online
via
video
call
with
a
provider
to
then
discuss
when
my
actual
appointment
would
occur.
To
my
understanding,
I
would
get
there,
click
the
link
and
then
wait
in
the
online
waiting
room-
all
virtual.
Once
that
was
done,
I
thought
they’d
call
me
when
I
was
able
to
come
inside
so
I
wouldn’t
be
around
other
patients.
The
online
waiting
room
said
you’ll
be
seen
within
15
minutes.
It
also
told
me
to
log
in
5
to
10
minutes
early.
I
waited
until
10
minutes
after
my
appointment
time
and
called
the
office
even
though
I
might
lose
my
spot
in
the
virtual
waiting
room.
No
one
ever
answers.
I
see
people
parking
and
going
in,
then
coming
out
within
minutes.
I
thought
I
had
done
something
wrong
or
incorrect
and
wasn’t
sure
if
my
name
was
even
on
the
list
anymore.
I
walk
in,
spoke
to
the
staff
and
they
checked
my
ID
and
took
me
back.
My
test
was
completed.
The
results
would
be
placed
on
MyChart,
a
site
that
has
my
medical
records.
There
was
no
signage
that
I
saw,
and
I
looked
for,
that
stated
I
in
no
way
should
walk
into
the
facility
without
an
online
approval
from
a
provider.
Minutes
later,
I’m
driving
and
I
parked
to
reset
my
gps
and
I
see
my
phone
is
lit
up,
I
was
getting
a
call.
I
get
a
second
call
immediately
and
I
answer
it,
it’s
my
test
results!
Negative.
I
was
elated.
Then,
I’m
asked
how
I
was
able
to
come
in
and
be
seen,
how
did
I
get
the
link
to
be
able
to
come
inside.
I
felt
as
if
I
was
being
told
that
I
somehow
hacked
into
the
system
and
I
“got”
the
link.
I
told
them,
yeah
I
was
sent
a
link
via
email
and
text
too.
I
arrived
at
the
urgent
care
and
clicked
the
link
so
I
could
do
a
virtual
visit
before
I
went
in.
They
told
me
that
that
initial
appointment
done
virtually
was
to
set
up
an
appointment
to
actually
be
seen.
I
know
with
COVID-19
that
they
have
to
be
incredibly
careful
and
really
do
things
differently
but
the
way
I
was
spoken
to
was
rude.
She
told
me
well
because
of
that
your
insurance
will
be
billed
accordingly.
I
called
back
because
when
she
hung
up
she
said
“
Yeah,
BYE!”
In
a
very
unpleasant
tone.
I
called
back
and
asked
if
I
was
in
trouble
or
what
because
of
the
way
I
was
being
spoken
to,
and
she
told
me
no
I
wasn’t
but
I
cut
in
front
of
many
people
and
just
walked
in.
If
that
is
the
way
you
do
things,
tell
every
single
person
who
calls,
leave
it
in
your
msg
when
people
call,
include
it
in
appointment
confirmation
and
post
it
on
the
building.
So,
because
of
a
huge
misunderstanding,
I
was
made
to
feel
like
I
am
careless,
selfish,
and
stupid.
I
then
got
another
call,
from
the
Dr
and
that
msg
was
a
lot
different.
She
said
that
they’d
give
me
a
full
check
up
and
exam,
and
learn
more
about
why
I
needed
a
test.
I
needed
it
for
work,
I
didn’t
think
it
was
fair
to
have
a
fever
and
go
into
my
job
even
though
I
lost
out
on
being
paid.
I
needed
it
for
every
person
I
interact
with,
for
my
baby
son
who
I
don’t
want
getting
sick,
for
my
Dad
who
is
high
risk.
I
had
3
phone
calls
all
demanding
I
tell
them
where
I
got
this
link
from
and
not
one
person
took
responsibility
for
just
looking
at
my
ID
and
taking
me
back.
They
looked
at
it,
nodded
and
said
oh
yeah
I
see
your
name,
we
will
take
you
back,
it’s
better
than
you
waiting
five
hours
in
your
car
for
you
to
be
called
in.
I
was
so
mad,
and
I
wasn’t
treated
with
respect
,
dignity,
or
having
intelligence.
