OK but West Bromwich and Bham are just better all round. Its best to think of a plan b if they offer low prices. I agree that the team is dedicated but there was too much passive aggressiveness from the young man where I didn't feel he offered me a chance to come back and redeem a full price. Also the queue system is poor.. definitely in comparison to the other stores.. they almost have the demeanour of passport control but this is shop (fun and alternative as it may be) is hardly on the same level. On a note of total insignificance, I had a very irate customer in front of me in the queue to offset the first two disappointing interactions at the counter. While not happy she still had a lot of charisma.. definitely brightening up an otherwise tedious day by wolverhampton standards.

I found out they this place is such an amazing location for gamers, you can find new and old games with almost half the price, they have used games so you can play it with less painful amount of money, almost all platforms are there. Not just games also movies

Good service, explained everything well when it came to trading in mobile telephones. Reasonable prices for older tech, some of the staff were very helpful. The other staff looks as though they never see the light of day between work and being holed up in thier gaming chairs.

Went in to buy a pre-owned game. I was with my son we were chatting about how to put a poster up without damaging the wall. The staff member who served us was really helpful overhearing my son and I he gave us loads of ideas on how to put a poster up. He even took the time to Google the names of products and where to purchase. Thank you to the gentleman.

Good place for second hand phones buying and selling

I have had a lot of pleasant experiences and deals with CEX in general. The only thing I would say is, when you are purchasing discs they should show you the condition. I've had to return on occasion because I've got all the way home to find out the game disc doseny't work or is scratched so much rendering the item unusable. So then you have to go all the way back to get it sorted. They check any discs when you sell/ trade items to them so it's presumed the discs are in working order when purchasing from them. They should show you the condition of any disc they sell you as standard to save a wasted journey. However that is the only gripe I have after years and years of using their shops. This review is about CEX in general rather than this store specifically.

This place has lot of cheap products. You definetly need to try it out. Bought phone and still working for 5 years. Phones are checked and great value.

Love cex always have good game and dvd selection

I brought a phone last month but was a issue with phone I thought it was something I had done with password but after taking phone to other phone shops, they said phone Nokia and I did, Nokia said the phone was still under contract and this was the reason. However in general staff are really lovely and helpful, at one stage I don't think they were going to change it but they did I would shop there again 👍🏾

A regular haunt for me and the first point of call for anything tech retro. Fair prices on resale and some bargains for older media types.

Gave me lots of money for a tablet and phone I didn't use anymore.

Smallest CEX, looks a mess and the staff are rude and won't rush to serve as they have their little banter

One staff member went above and beyond, she may have possibly been the supervisor, other staff member did not help and she made the trip not a great experience.

Helpful and well mannered staff, can get busy in store, be prepared to wait.

I go here lots it is great good staff I love this shop and I go hear lots and as I am a nerd so I like the shop good staff l.

Good quality second hand techno equipment worth a visit.

Does seem a bit unfair to not buy games if the case is broken. If the discs and everything else is OK. I know everyone grumbles about cex prices but in all fairness how many 2nd hand products can you return if faulty?

The assistant was very helpful, got everything sorted. Had time to spend with us to sort even though other customers waiting.

Always a weird smell like energy drink that's been left to dry on carpet and body odour.. Staff are friendly but seem more interested in joking and talking to other staff while serving.

Staff are very disrespectful and not welcoming. Making rude comments about me and laughing among each other. Especially the male worker. There was 2 women staff and 1 male worker at the time I went there. Never going back again
