Lovely place in the safest place in Kampala (Bugolobi) rooms are neat, staffs are very professional and well dressed. Room service when turned away comes back right on time whatever time you give to them. Very lovely and safe hotel. The food is great, I have been struggling with food in Kampala for the past 4 days, the first meal I had at the hotel was awesome so I’m sticking with them throughout my stay. It’s a lovely place to stay, lovely rooms, nice ambience and great location 🥰

Without doubt one of the best hotels I have stayed in. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff. This is a hotel where the atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to me. All respect for the general manager, Mr Geoffrey, who does a great job here; a true sample of excellent hospitality!

Athena is a 4 Star boutique hotel located in Bugolobi near the city center. The rooms were spacious with clean bathrooms. However, the hotel needs to improve their coffee brewing process and probably revisit coffee selection too. Coffe was lukewarm and taste not good. The samosas lacked spices and salad dressing wasnt to my taste too. On a good note, I wish to say thank you to Gorreti, my waitress for the day for the wonderful customer care. At least you set the bar high for your department! Smart, professional and eloquency are some of the noticeable virtues I detected.

Great service, ambience, kitchen, accessories, security, entertainment, friendly staff, friendly prices name it. This comes highly recommended especially to those who want to let some hair down or for the serious work engagements

I'm on day 4 or 5 of a 9-day stay. Staff is remarkably friendly and accommodating. The facilities are nice and the food quite good. This is where I will stay on future visits.

I must say Best Western Plus The Athena Hotel is one of the most amazing hotels that I've been to in Kampala. I enjoyed my entire stay at this place. The food was so special and the people there were really lovely. Kudos to you guys!

Best Western Plus the Athena Hotel was a great place to stay away from home. My room was neat and very comfortable. Internet was stable and every thing I needed whether a hot cup of tea or water to drink or where to read. It is place I would definitely recommend to any one in search of a place for a restful night or two.

A breath of fresh air to most places we have been. The outside aisle services are great for food and drinks. You use this almost every day for lunch. The flora in the compound is fantastic as well. You will definitely prepare a bigger vacation here. To me, I will surely go there again and suggest everyone to give it a visit. Had a wonderful experience there with food and environment. This Awesome food makes it a wonderful cafe ever visit. Prices of everything is reasonable and environment is good. Sound and ever thing are up to marks best place for visit. The staff is very quick. At check you will receive great information on local other restaurants and things happening in town for the week. The in-house restaurant staff is very accommodating and nice.
