A Good temple having two gods in same statue. One god is Lord subramania swamy (Murugan ) Another one is On back side Lakshmi narasimhar. One god Facing East side and other west side. This temple is mainly for Rahu dosha solving. Backside full of Nagà swamy temple and statues. Parking is available and following Covid guidelines.

Such a divine experience. My parents always believed this god and they hve a practice of visiting this place frequently. You can have a private homa done. Prasadha is the best part 😌. After visiting temple you can also move around and check out beautiful views around and also a dam. The road is the another best thing, from the journey to destination you will experience the best moments. It is also a powerful god. Do visit.

One of the few temples in India with historical importance, about 70 kms from Bangalore City. Gated Open Parking complex right next to the Temple in the adjacent lane is such a welcome move. The background of this temple is scenic dotted with multiple hills surrounding the temple area. The road to the temple is windy at places.

Visited this temple with family. A must visit temple for everyone. When I saw reviews initially, there are many reviews which are explaining same statement, seems most of them copied content from somewhere. 😉 Temple can be reached thru local bus / autos from doddabellapur. If we come by car, they charge Rs 20 as entrance. Lot of space is there for car parking. Many of vendors will call to keep car, since they expect we purchase from them. Temple has dedicated slipper stand, we can keep shoes there instead of keeping near shops. Also plastic bags are strictly prohibited inside temple , we cannot take it. We can buy flower mala and tulasi mala (garland) for both God subramanya and narasimha. We have free dharshan and spl dharshan (costs rs.50). There is no difference in dharshan as both queue gets merged in one place. Only thing we can quickly have dharshan. We can see lord subramanya from front side and lord narasimha in back (we can see thru mirror). Rare scenario of having dharshan like this. Whatever time we go, we will get good food. Sweet and rice was available during my visit. Self cleaning would be required , food is served in steel plates. Hall is available, where we can sit and eat on table. If we have coconut, we can leave near the annaprasadam counter, seems temple will use them for cooking. Lot of monkeys will be there, so be careful. There are lot of snake God available, better take milk from outside for abhiskam, milk is available from local vendor for rs.10 (all watery) Overall enjoyed the visit.

Divinely vibe 🙏 Deity is so powerful and known to be stayed here after destroying Ghatikeshwara. Temole has lots of piligrims and its quite old located in peaceful area away from crowded traffic. Notes: 1. Big parking space near to temple 2. Basic amenities are present in temple premises - Water, toilets , Feeding area etc. 3. Everyday food is provided 2 times - Morning and afternoon.

PROTIP: take senior citizens with you and they will let you cut the line and you can finish the darshan in 15mins rather than waiting in the line for more than 30-40mins. It was an amazing, powerful, positive vibe from the templs. Ancient temple I believe. Lot of small shops to shop on good, accessories etc. Ample parking is available. One can visit makalidurga trek, and alittle detour, there is dandiganahalli dam, nandi hills, srinivasa sagara dam, manchenahalli lake.. good for a day outing a s a package. Also, beware of monkeys in the temple surroundings as one of them took away a man’s phone and never returned.

Place of Subrahmanya and Lord shri Narasimha Swamy. Auspicious and rare temple where Skandha is blessed by Narasihma swamy. Very beautiful temple in small hill and considered to be really blessing. Ample parking and ok restrooms. Remember there will be lot of monkeys and goat which might create trouble if you carry food with you. Take care of kids from them. We know Narasimha swamy who protected prahladha swamin but note he ramained in the same avatara and even blessed skandha.

No review required for this temple. Full of positive vibes when you enter the temple premises. Just keeping going especially on Tuesday to get full energy. Go back to your home directly after visiting the temple to have that positive energy carried along with you.

Always love to visit this place, very peaceful, very spiritual. The environment will be very beautiful. But people charge more than the actual cost and little corrupted out side the temple,be cautious about that. Except that will really feel blessed and connected to that place. This place will fully crowded on any festive days , Mondays , Tuesdays.

A very serene place , the facility like parking is perfect. A beautiful view , it looks like mini ghats area . Greenery all around. There's one pick up dam on the way to the temple. Visit it if you are not in hurry . It's a beautiful dam constructed by Sir M Vishveshwaaraiya around 100yrs old .

One of the ancient temple of belief. Must visit. Many doshas can also be resolved in this temple. It is also believed that lord Narasimha is securing lord subrahmanya from Garuda. Your also allowed to do Seva and can pour milk on " Nagarakallu " Annadanam will also be arranged for devotees on daily basis. Kindly keep the temple premises clean, and pls avoid usage of plastic.

Good temple. Took about 1.45 hrs drive from Bangalore. Was crowded even in afternoon and took about an hour even in special Darshan. Plenty of parking, but the street shoppers trying to force you to buy is not good.

Main Temple was closed since it was a weekend. However flower and coconut sellers were trying to sell them to gullible people. Lot of Cheats around trying to sell rotten guava and custard apple. Had a great time buying vegetables on our way back in the countryside.

It’s wonderful temple with very limited crowd. You can reach this place from Bangalore in 45 minutes and please don’t trust the vendors for car parking, since for their sales they will misguide for car parking. There is ample parking near the temple. For quick Darshana they will charge ₹50/ person it’s worth to save your time. In temple they serve Prasad which is too much quantity of rice. One Prasad is sufficient for 4 people as we should not waste.

The drive is a great one, with astounding streets and marvelous view en route. Be cautioned anyway that there are no top of the line refueling breaks en route for food and bathrooms. There are several udupi style eateries with none too clean latrines. The actual sanctuary is perfect and all around kept up with, and is very unique, being the just one of its sort in the country, with a swayambu symbol of subranamya and narasimha at the back, noticeable through a deliberately positioned reflect. There are likewise tickets you can purchase for uncommon darshan if the overall line is extremely long. Assortment rice is filled in as prasad from 12.30pm onwards. There is a little diner inverse the sanctuary, yet it would be prudent to bring your own food and water.

As with all other temple food in South India ghati Subramaniam bhojanshala also provides simple yet healthy wholesome tasty food. The lunch consists of rice ,yummy sambar with a lot of veggies, sweet Pongal and masala buttermilk. Similarly morning 8:30 to 12:30 they serve breakfast lunch timings at 12:30 to 3 o'clock. It is free of charge but voluntary donations are accepted. Not to be missed.

Ghati Subramanya Temple, a revered place in Southern India, is renowned for its snake worship and historical legends. Lord Subramanya, taking the form of a seven-hooded snake, sought the assistance of Narasimha Swamy to vanquish the formidable demon Ghatikasura. This temple stands as a testament to that epic battle, symbolizing triumph over evil. Devotees flock here to seek the blessings of Lord Subramanya and experience the divine energy that pervades the surroundings. The temple's unique blend of mythological significance, snake worship, and spiritual ambiance makes it a truly captivating and sacred destination.

It's an old temple with a good ambience.. It will usually be crowded on weekends and there will be a long wait. Prefer to visit on weekdays, it takes atleast 1hour for darshan. Ghati Subramanya is a popular pilgrimage centre which attracts devotees across the globe. It's located near Doddaballapur town built 600 years ago. It's a unique temple with 2 gods in the same idol, Lord Subramanya in 7 hooded sanke form is facing east and Lord Narasimha (Vishnu avatar) facing west and is belived be be protected Subramanya from Garuda (Eagle). Their is a big mirror placed behind to give darshan of Lord Narasimha at the same time.

Divine Place. Take a drive in the car, trust me you will enjoy the nature. Be careful there are too many monkeys around the temple, advising not to carry any kind of eatables, pooja items without covering them. Makali Durga, Nandi Hills are surrounding places which can be visited if time permits.

Beautiful temple and the route to the temple after Yelahanka is also surrounded by full of greenery. Very neatly maintained. Has a different vibe as soon as you enter the temple. Don’t miss to see the mirror image of Lord Subramanya. The idol of Lord Karthikeya with a seven headed cobra is made from a single stone. It faces eastwards while the idol of “Lord Narasimha faces westwards. To ensure that both deities are visible to devotees at the same time, a huge mirror is placed. The uniqueness of this temple is that the prime deity Lord Karthikeya, is found together with Lord Narasimha. Both idols are believed to have emerged from the earth. Very crowded on weekends, best to visit is weekdays.

It's an old temple with a good ambience.. It will usually be crowded on weekends and there will be a long wait then. We went on Gandhi Jayanti morning and it wasn't much crowded. But probably due to some VIP edit we had to wait for sometime, for around half an hour. In the entrance, people say that the parking isn't available but allocated space on a a condition that we buy pooja thali from them, which had a lot many spaces actually. That's something which made the vibe look commercial.

Good place to visit during weekends. Ghati road is awesome complete hilly areas with clean road bike rides will be most favorable. Near the temple they charge 10 rupees for parking for bikes and 20 for cars. You can get an awesome taste of namkeen nearby temple. There is no such large place to sit near the temple promises which makes me a little disappointed.

I have visited this temple many a times. Recently I made a visit during lockdown. The officials have taken at most measures to sanitize the place and make it safe for devotees. Visitors are not allowed inside with any of their belongings, mask is a must and none are allowed to touch any surface. Social distancing is strictly followed. Devotees are made to offer pooja outside the temple.

It's a very awesome place to visit, weekend there will be a huge crowd. The main temple entrance is small, you have to bend down your head to enter. The Subramanya Swamy idol is small, which is covered by decoration, habe to focus to see the god There are wide variety of pooja and sevas are available, free prasadan and annadanam also available. There is huge parking space is available. Out side you will get coconut and flowers, all the way you will carry inside the temple but they will take everything before entering temple. Some what feel there is a commercial element, of course now a days every temple is becoming commercial.

A peaceful and ancient temple near Makali Durga non Bangalore - Hindupur Highway. People come here to perform Naga pratiste / Ashlesha Bali and Sarpa Samskara poojas to eradicate themselves of Naga Dosha.

It is Lord Subrahmanya temple, called as Murugan temple too. It's in very good ambience while reaching to temple. It's pure bliss while traveling when rains. Normally temple is not crowded but early reaching is suggested for good dharshan.

The management is so poor. They are clueless in managing the crowd. They do not let people to stand even a second to have Lord's Darshana. They push people to exit. Horrible management. They have no clue that people would have spent 4 to 5 hours in travelling just to visit the temple. Worse temple management!

The Ghati Subramanya temple is one of the most major spots for snake worship in Southern India. . It is 60 km from the city and is a popular pilgrimage centre. The uniqueness of this temple is that the prime deity Lord Karthikeya, is found together with Lord Narasimha. The background of this temple is scenic dotted with multiple hills surrounding the temple area. The road to the temple is windy at places.

This is the only place in the world I have seen that the deity Lord Karthikeya, is found together with Lord Narasimha. Both Shiva and Vishnu together. The place is very famous for homam for early marriage, having kids and for getting rid of skin diseases. The homam was such a divine experience and felt blessed.

Have been fortunate to be there on the weekend. It is 70 kn away from Bangalore city and well connected with the roads. A very old temple but well maintained. It is not that crowded and our darshan was done within an hour. Do not buy any agarbatti or flower mala as it is not allowed inside the temple. This temple is famous for sheshnaag and good for the people who has kaal sarp yoga. They also provide prasad for free in terms of pongal and you can eat and have to wash your own thali. Only thing that you need to be scared there is monkeys. Else a good place to visit.

Great experience visiting Lord Subramanya temple 🙏 Long queues during holidays and weekends. Special entry ticket is available if you don't want to spend hours standing in queues. "Annadhana" is available every day for devotees. Free car parking.

This ancient temple is believed to be 600 years old located 60kms from Bangalore. The temple belongs to Lord Subrahmanya and Lord Lakshmi Narasimha and as per history of the temple, the idol of Shri Subrahmanya is self originated. The uniqueness of this temple is Sri Subrahmanya is facing east and Sri Lakshmi Narasimha facing west, in a single view image, one can have Darshan of Lord Narasimha through a mirror placed in the rear side of the Garbha Griha. Temple opens by 6am & darshan can be easily completed in a short time till 8.30am after which the crowd increases. Also in the evening, the footfalls are reduced thereby one can have a peaceful darshan. Temple's Anna Prasadam is served daily in the Temple dining hall by afternoon. Temple premises are maintained well & clean. Reaching by own transportation is the best option, approach roads are very good. Public transport is available from Doddaballapur & share Auto available from the highway. There are few small hotels in the near vicinity of the Temple which serve decent food. Parking is available opposite to the Temple or behind the temple.

It's a good temple where you can find peace and the surroundings are just looking like a wow. The route as usual was amazing on a gloomy day. Up the hills and you'll reach the place. Many shopkeepers force you to park the vehicle near their place and buy Pooja sets. But, go a bit further, you'll find the parking. Buy only the required things there or take them with you before starting from your place. Overall, the Darshan was good and they do provide good food inside the temple. Beware of monkeys.

Lord Subramanya's form is that of a seven-hooded snake and it is believed that this is the region where he vanquished Ghatikasura, the demon. The Ghati Subramanya temple is one of the most major spots for snake worship in Southern India.even then the temple provides lunch facility,Ideally people prefer to visit on Tuesday, as Tuesday is considered auspicious. if you are planning to do special pooja avoid weekends.

👍👍 Nice location for making your mind calm, it was quite slippery when we visited due to heavy waterfall, be careful while reaching the dam, there is no entry charge and parking space is available for free. Safe journey
