5/5 Honeymooners Offroad A. 8 months ago on Google • 241 reviews
We
were
passing
through
and
a
friend
suggested
we
take
this
tour
so
we
decided
to.
You
can
pay
at
the
desk
for
the
next
available
tour,
but
we
opted
to
book
online
to
see
what
available
times
were
for
the
day.
Very
easy
to
book.
You
must
show
up
30
minutes
prior
to
the
tour
time
to
check
in.
They
will
give
you
a
safety
vest,
hard
hat
and
miners
lamp
to
use
while
you
are
in
the
mine.
Then
you
proceed
to
the
train
where
you
get
on
and
straddle
a
seat
for
the
ride.
The
tour
takes
you
about
1800
feet
into
the
mine
with
two
stops
along
the
way.
The
first
stop
has
about
36
stairs
into
a
big
room
and
the
second
stop
is
flat.
Learning
about
the
history
of
Queen's
Mine
was
fascinating
and
well
worth
every
penny
spent.
Our
tour
guide
was
very
personable
and
knowledgeable.
He
really
made
the
tour
that
much
more
enjoyable.
Overall,
we
would
highly
recommend
taking
this
tour.
There
is
a
gift
shop
as
well
as
a
small
museum
in
the
back
for
you
to
enjoy.
Public
restrooms
are
on
site.
Well
worth
the
trip
to
go
see!
