On our very first night in Bishkek we left our Asia Mountain Hotel for a very pleasant walk down to this Turkish Restaurant. After a bit of language difficulty we were able to explain that we were vegetarians and the staff were incredibly helpful. It was a great atmosphere and a delightful setting for our first meal in Kyrgyztan. Highly recommend food was great atmosphere grade and staff are very helpful.

Shout out to the our waiter for his patience for taking our order since we are a group and we don’t know what to order haha he speaks very good English so no language barrier. When it comes to food. It was all delicious local foods, every penny is worth. Hats off to the amazing service.

This was my worst food experience ever!! Mistaken 2 out of all 4 items we got. The final course was plov - we waited above 2 hours!! The dish itself was disgusting, “lamb” was actually only cartilage as shown on photos below. The staff was ignoring us, full of youth making laugh with each other. Never go there!!

All the food and drinks were good except the beef with noodles could use more seasoning, and it arrived 10 minutes after the other dishes. Service was top notch. All dirty dishes were promptly removed. Restaurant interior is nicely decorated. Toilet is clean. Menu is in Russia but the pictures are good. We had no problem ordering.

Borsok and chalap were tasty as well. The sofas are quite comfy, with pillows. The restaurant is located in a central street of Bishkek. The bathroom was very clean too. The salad "shirin" with eggplants was tasty, with sweet sour sauce on it. Salad "chakarop" was tasty, simple, as anywhere. This is a great restaurant don't be fooled by the nasty looking outside because inside is amazing. The food here is also great, tasty and reasonably priced at the higher end for Kyrgyzstan but not for Europe, I had 3 courses for about £10. Staff are also very attentive plus this restaurant doesn't bring all 3 courses at the same time or bring the dessert first it all comes in the correct order.

Went to this location and a couple other sister sites whilst we were traveling in Bishek. Well worth the stop as there is a large selection of traditional dishes and teas. Food was delicious and the decoration is quite nice as well. Feels like you’re sitting in someone’s living room with orate decor and large sofa like benches to sit on. When in doubt, make a stop here!
