Most gorgeous place up in the mountains. Enjoyed my holiday there so much. If you love nature, it's the best at Hogsback. Away from pollution and toxic people. Everyone there is so friendly and welcoming, they all like 1 big happy family there.

This is such a lovely place to explore in Hogsback. It was a crisp morning, but after the recent rain, the 39 Steps waterfall was beautiful! Make time to visit the Arboretum when you're in Hogsback - you won't be disappointed.

Absolutely beautiful! Lots of easy walking paths to enjoy a comfortable stroll at any time of the day. Plenty of benches to sit on or you could bring a picnic and find a shaded spot on the grass. Well worth a visit in the Spring time when the flowers are blooming. Don't forget to walk to the waterfall and the Redwoods. When visiting also remember to leave no trace and if you find any litter along the way please collect it and put it in one of the available bins 🌻

Beautiful scenic walk. Well maintained. Good for family, all trees are labeled with indigenous names, this can be far interacting for school kids. Refreshing clean air. The sound from the rushing water streams, so relaxing.

Always visited the town when I was younger. When I came back after 10 years, it has gotten so much more beautiful. Extraordinary views, friendly people, dog friendly (most places).

Beautiful trees in peaceful surroundings. Needs some maintenance, but it is still great. The Californian redwoods stand out as a must visit, very impressive .

Absolutely beautiful, and git a bit more beauty than I bargained for. 2 people bathed nude at the top of the falls for some reason. So, be careful. I am a bit conflicted because people tend the litter for some reason.

Hogsback's Arboretum is an absolute gem nestled in nature's embrace! My recent visit left me utterly enchanted. The sight of five majestic Californian Redwoods stood tall and proud, adding a touch of grandeur to the already breathtaking landscape. The multiple streams gurgling through the park created a soothing soundtrack, and discovering not one, but two waterfalls was a delightful surprise. And if you're an early riser, consider visiting right before sunrise as during this time there is the chance to witness what remains of the small wild Cape Parrot population. It's a rare and precious encounter with nature that makes the early morning visit well worth it. The variety of tree life in the arboretum is truly remarkable. From indigenous wonders to exotic marvels, each tree tells a story of its own. Walking through this park feels like stepping into a fairy tale—serene, magical, and utterly beautiful. The attention to maintaining the natural harmony is evident, making it a haven for nature lovers. The overall ambiance is simply stunning. The play of sunlight through the leaves, the vibrant hues of green, and the sense of tranquility make Hogsback's Arboretum a perfect escape. Whether you're a passionate nature enthusiast or someone seeking a serene retreat, this place is a must-visit. The Arboretum is truly a haven where nature reveals its beauty in the most delightful ways.

Beautiful and clean. Perfect place to let kids' imaginations go wild - my four year old was looking for fairies under every plant. Beautiful trees too!

The amazing redwoods and rambling streams are so soothing for your soul. The 39 steps waterfall is like the crown of the walk. It is must visit and a very gentle stoll.

Trees from all over the world in a lush forest with quaint streams and amazing waterfalls. Autumn is the best time to be here!

Stunningly beautiful place - just wish there were more trails and a better parking situation. You won't regret a walk through here

Good relatively well maintained arboretum. Also gives access to the 39 steps waterfall, which can not be seen from the official viewpoint marked on Google due to overgrown alien vegitation on the forestry land!

A magical garden that balances the civility of a botanical garden with the forest environment around. For all ages and easily accessable.
