It's a really nice and clean hotel. All the employees are friendly and take care of you. It's a place where you can find everything you're looking for. Probably the best hotel in Ethiopia. Love them.

Pyramid Hotel is one of the 5 star hotels in Debre Zeit (Bishoftu). It is along side of Lake Bishoftu). It has really a fantastic view and a very good hospitality!

We did not stay in the hotel, we only visited the restaurant. The restaurant is beautiful and we had a great experience in the past so we decided to come back. Usually the balcony is the more active area, but it was a cold day so we decided to sit inside next to the kitchen. Our first snack order of french fries took such a long time, we had to go search for waiters because they were nowhere near us. Eventually the fries arrived cold. We decided to stay anyway and later on order our dinner. We waited a very long time for our dinner order, after a while we went looking again for waiters. Eventually another waitress got us some of the food, while 1 of our group members continued to wait a long time for her food. We had 1 order of onion soup, it came not as described in the menu plus it tasted like water with a Bouillon cube. i refused to accept it and notified the waiter that i am not interested in a replacement. After a while suddenly they brought again the soup, now with a change but i refused to accept it and clearly replied that i asked them not to bring a replacement. Later on the soup was still on our bill and not removed. Only after addressing the manager he helped us solve the issue. Overall, we had a very disappointing experience that does not fit a hotel with such high standard. The most frustrating thing is not even the issues with the food but the issue with the long wait and especially the fact we had to get up of our sit and literally search for the waiters for more than 5 times. My improvement suggestion is to make sure the waiters are all around the restaurant and not only on the balcony area, and they need to improve the service time.

Pyramid resort is amazing beautiful views of the lake and breathtaking sunsets. The service is top-tier, and the staff are super friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious and full of flavor. Highly recommend!

This can make staying here less enjoyable if you're expecting equal access to the hotel's facilities.
