Close your eyes when you taste the food n you’ll think you’re in Italy. Seriously, awesome food. The owner is a very gracious host and the staff are extremely friendly. Best pizza I had in a long time. Highly recommended

Quite ok, good without being superb, but on the high end. No frills, easy going, families, expats and locals all come here to enjoy a quite decent pizza italian style (Rome style, thin crust). I haven't yet tried other places here but i am told this place is the best. I tried a pizza with banana because i had never seen that, and it's not something that i found worth repeating. The crust was great and so was the cheese. I had tagliatelle a la sorrentuna, which according to them is just tomato and garlic. Clearly the owner is not italian :) fresh pasta though. It was quite good. I also had a pannacotta which was very good. If i would be in Rome i wouldn't be impressed, but here, I am.

Half decent Italian food and friendly, fast service. Both extremely unusual in this part of the world!

Great fresh and dried pasta, Italian stile with sea food and others... Particular attention to fresh ingredients coming from organic farms, started up from rural development NGOs. Very central, right side of Simao Mendes National Hospital.

Hello Big Tony! How did you get lost in a tiny little country like Guinea-Bissau. Fresh authentic Italian flavors. Great atmosphere and wonderful service. 4 out of 5 on the “Moan-Worthy” scale of food. Thank you Jesus for this little blessing.

Most popular place in Bissau. Excellent menu, consistent high quality food and service, 70s & 80s subdued (not loud) Italian music for nostalgia

Really nice restaurant in central Bissau, over the road from Simao Mendes. Surprisingly good range of Italian dishes which are filling and tasty. Pretty sure they deliver too. One of the best options for eating in Bissau.

Great restaurant in Bissau. Try the stake with mushrooms sauce and for dessert, crepes with ice-cream.

Italian Restaurant with nice atmosphere and for the region really good cuisine. Value for Money appears fair, almost exclusively non local guests.

Bistro is one of the best pizzas I have ever had anywhere. Lively place that serves Italian fare but we go there for the pizzas and the chorico

    - Nice location :-) - Pizza's available in the evening only - Food is ok, though the beef is chewy (must be very old cows) - Cutlery dirty, traces of previous dried food, yuck :-( - Pharmacy & hospital are just across the street... - Restroom is clean with running water. The appliances work, toilette paper & soap are provided :-) - Cash only - Wi-Fi

First thing, it is barely expensive restaurent. It is the first italian restaurent which i ate in Guinea Bissau. Maybe it is unique italian in this country. The view is not special or romantic. But around is rather quiet. The menu has many dishes: starter, pasta, second dish, pizza, desert ... (regretly, i did not take photo menu). I took bruschetta in beginning. It did not go to impress to me. In my opion, it look like three big bread pieces which overgrilled and put on top too much cheese, chopped tomato and sliced olive. It is hard to eat them. And that is too much for a starter, isn't it? Then, i took the three pasta dish. It is the save of the day. It is not too special but it is satisfied by me. Ravioli with cream sauce, i love it. Gnocchi with tomato sauce, i think it is normal. Tagliatelle with pesto sauce is delicious too.

👍 American like atmosphere, local and international dishes. I tried the Bica fish and it was good but not the best. They have a good ice cream (not so much sugar) for the local standards

👍 Nice international (read: Portuguese) restaurant popular with expats and well-off locals. There's an air-conditioned room to the right from the entrance if the main room is too hot. Prices wouldn't be out of place in Lisbon, but you get the major upside of the restaurant not employing disabled snai...

👍👍 Great Lebanese food including shawarma, great burgers with a middle Eastern touch, awesome milkshakes and juices. Pizzas are good too but way too small compared to Bistro's and Papa Loca's.
