Reasonably priced for a wide variety of dishes. WiFi mostly works!

Another of those 'Survives only because its in Bissau' places. Was served 2 pieces of Sole for a plate costing 5500 cfa (that's £7.50 - not cheap at all for West Africa!). Decent fish that had been dunked in oil then strong raw garlic rubbed all over it. Fan not working, sweaty experience, waiters indifferent. I checked out the rooms upstairs. Single at £25 (20000 cfa) didn't even have a toilet seat on the wc. Double at £30 (25000 cfa) slightly better, and working air conditioner was promised. Overall a tired place you'd do well to avoid. For food go to the newly opened Bayana across the road, much better!

Very bad hotel.

I loved hanging out in the cafe/restaurant for daytime coffees (1000 CFA) and evening beers (1500 CFA for a SuperBock XL). Great local atmosphere and reliable WiFi. Pizza was OK (5000 CFA). Get individual table bills if with a large group, as a waiter made mistakes with ours.
