Nice international (read: Portuguese) restaurant popular with expats and well-off locals. There's an air-conditioned room to the right from the entrance if the main room is too hot. Prices wouldn't be out of place in Lisbon, but you get the major upside of the restaurant not employing disabled snails in their kitchen, and thus sparing you the 1-1.5h wait that's the norm absolutely everywhere else I've been to in the country. The food is tasty, portion sizes are big, and the fruit mousses are to die for, don't leave without trying one!

Nice restaurant with open-air area (covered) and great service. Food was ok - the real highlight were the mousses they have for dessert. We specially loved the passion fruit one and chocolate one. The quinoa burger is also quite nice, just dont take the option “in canoe”, it consists of the quinoa burger with cheese melted on top. The classic option is definitely better. Their limonade was great too, not too sweet and very refreshing.

Lunch for four today during a work day break. Owner approached us and recommended some dishes. We took feijoada with calamari (choco). Great choice! The deserts were also great (try maracuyá cream!). Place has a nice informal atmosphere and service was good. Recommended!

I m watching Brazil and South Korea match in bar. I like this place. I like waiters service. Price is normal for Bissau but my friend told me food side is expensive for Bissau.

Unfortunately menu not available in English. Neither were we understood when orders were taken. So my pork wasn't nice at all, not tasty nor tender. My husbands Omelette was strange, as it was a pure scrambled eggs with the ingredients filled inside a formed pocket, was tasting nice. But so few, kept him hungry. So: people were nice, food not so, price to high - you find nicer places on Bissau

Good place. Has to improve service. Has to consider increasing quantity of rice in all dishes.

Good restaurant in down town Bissau. Nice (Portuguese) meu. The langoustes were delicious (and even too much).

Brilliant place ..made lively with excellent music by the the amazing Demba Balde, and very cheerful service staff Aminata and Nelida ..Top stars for them......and then ruined by the owners. QUITE ARROGANT, GRUMPY. And unfriendly.. We have been here every time were in Bissau to listen to Demba and enjoyed every moment.. the foods great, the service wonderful and an amazing ambience sitting in the non airconditioned section.. BUT .. The owners seem to have a level of mistrust of staff..and probably of clients. We spend well whenever were here (a bill of 35,000Cfa /55 Euros each time atleast).. and they seem to have a strange policy - not to let people (at least us Indians) not share .. its A la carte..yet for some strange reason they objected to our sharing... Yet other European guests were hapily sharing Shrimps and other food). We asked the lady((Aminata) serving us, she took permission, and the owners apparently reluctantly agreed. And yet while we were eating , the owners kept coming and looking over shoulders... and then the lady of the house came in with feathers all up for a fight ..but unfortunately for her we said we didn't speak Creole or Portuguese. So she left without an argument.. not even a decent greeting. Very strange..very very strange. What is further incomprehensible is that the bill included a seperate salad, which we were told is a part of the main dish two of us ordered. !!! We'll definitely keep going , for the music from Demba and for the food and service... if they let us in!!!!

Good place to eat and bring visitors to Bissau to eat at but they can be slow on certain dishes which can result in a disjointed service. Half your table can have finished their food before the other half receive theirs

A nice spot to have a bite to eat. The staff are friendly and they serve yummy Portuguese food. It is on the pricey side for Guinea Bissau.

Nice place. Easy going, but with some sophistication to it. Clean, decorated, it goes beyond the usual. Lenghty menu with plenty of options, though not much for a vegetarian, but the waiter immediately proposed alternatives: salads, omelettes, rice with vegetables. I went with the latter. It was quite good and well presented.

👍 American like atmosphere, local and international dishes. I tried the Bica fish and it was good but not the best. They have a good ice cream (not so much sugar) for the local standards

👍👍 Great Lebanese food including shawarma, great burgers with a middle Eastern touch, awesome milkshakes and juices. Pizzas are good too but way too small compared to Bistro's and Papa Loca's. If you sit in the outside area in the evening, mosquitoes will suck half the meal off of you, which works grea...
