Brilliant day out during the Easter bank holiday! You can only enter via car so best to do the road safari, best entertainment is with the monkey who may sit on your car so be careful in this section. Bears and other animal may cross the road/path. You can do the road safari several times and if you don’t want to do the monkey section take the bypass but I wouldn’t recommend that. Once done park up and explore the foot safari, there are animal shows every 15 minutes. Great day out for all ages!

What a wonderful family day - kids and adults both loved it! The amount of animals we saw was amazing and they were all so up close. We had a great encounter in the monkey enclosure with the monkey sat on the car! We only needed to drive through the safari once as we saw everything so well, though there is the option to drive round again. The drive safari is definitely the highlight with the foot safari being a tad underwhelming once you’ve seen the drive though. There are some swan pedalo boats which were free to use for 10 minutes which was a lovely addition.

Thought this place was just a car safari and it would be over in a couple hours but actually you can do the car safari unlimited times and there's also a foot safari! This includes 15 minute shows on various feeding/animal facts which I thought was brilliant. There's also a boating section which we didn't get to do as it was extremely busy. Expected for a bank holiday weekend though. Monkey safari was the most interactive, had lots of fun there! Would definitely recommend to people out there!!

A great place for kids but not only :) Lots of attractions.Animals are calm, which cannot be said about monkeys. There's a good chance they'll jump on your car. You can bypass them, but then there is no best attraction for kids.If there are a lot of cars, the line of cars moves very slowly.

Woburn Safari Park is incredible, very interactive environment. You can walk around the Wallaby enclosure. The trainers and animal handlers were very passionate and knowledgable. Your able to reenter the safari trail in your car as many times as you want. The little monkeys were kind to are car this time around. Great day out, I highly recommend it.

Nice place, modest cost of the ticket considering it includes all expenses related to the Safari. Not far from London about a an hour. The time required to visit the park varies a lot I would say from 2-3 hours up to all day considering that you can do the tour several times to see the animals and that there is a picnic area. In addition to the car ride, there is a rest area before the exit where you can eat and find various services, plus there are also other animals. In total I think I saw rhinos and other herbivores entering then we go to the carnivore area where I only saw a tiger and a herd of lions, exiting there you can see elephants and giraffes with other herbivores, and in the rest area there are red pandas, sea lions, parrots, monkeys, penguins and sheep. All in all a nice experience that I will do again on a sunny day suggest.

This is best place I visited with my family. There so many animals and attractions for kids to enjoy which are all inclusive with entry pass.

Wow what a day out! The drive into Woburn itself is exciting with the signs and anticipation of what animals you may see, the free handgel is a bonus and guide book is very useful and interesting to read. The road safari is incredible with all the animals free to roam round safely and securely, the animals look healthy and happy within their environment. The great thing about the road safari is you can do it more than once we did if twice and saw the animals in a different light such as the giraffes being closer to the gate to see them closer which was a wonderful moment. The foot Safari allows you to see animals up close and personal such as the wallaby walk and monkey trail. It's great with the talks and feeds to learn more about the animals. Gets busy in the afternoons! Pretty location and drive round Woburn. Boating lake (free to go round) Go ape on sight - need to book. Restaurants and cafes on site. Two shops. Functioning room. Toilets. Wheelchair and pushchair accessible. Cash and card. Face coverings required in enclosed shops and facilities. Great day out for the family!

Pick your visit day wisely as the animals tend to sit under tree shade during hot weather days. Multiple rides into the road Safari allowed. You can by pass few enclosures if you are doing more than one round. The Australian walk is cool. Didn't manage to see many other animals in foot Safari. Kids Indoor soft play area. Kids Outdoor under tree play area. Lake swan boat rides and a little train ride. Staff overall helpful. Clean facilities. Oh, there are loads of animal photos here and so thought will share some of the food photos from restaurants. 👍

We had a great day! We got there around 12.30 and didn’t leave till around 4.45ish. There is so much to do for both adults and kids. It was quiet which was perfect for us, and everything is quite close to each other so you can get from one presentation to another without missing out. The train ride was a lot of fun too. We would defo go back and considering the annual passes for all three of us as it’s good value for money and right on our door step.

I used to love this place as a kid and still do as an adult! I much prefer safari parks to zoos as the animals have much more space to roam and you can get a lot closer to them. The family’s favourite part is always the monkey section, there’s an option to skip it as to not risk damage to your car, but the day wouldn’t be the same! The only downside was we weren’t given any times for the shows, so missed them all.

This is a lovely safari park near London. It is an hour's drive. The park is very well managed. You drive around the park in your car and view the animals. There are cafes, restaurants, toilets, and parking spaces available in the park. The park staff are helpful and friendly. The park consists of wild animals and farm animals. You get plenty of opportunities to view the animals up close. Would highly recommend a visit.

This was an amazing experience. Firstly, I was surprised how big the park actually is. I was also really happy to see how many different animals there are, and that they have lots of space roam around in. There is also a good array of things to do (at no extra cost) including a slide and duck boats. I’d definitely recommend this to anyone for a nice day out.

Visited with children during their break from school and it was absolutely an amazing experience. Children thoroughly enjoyed seeing different animals and the best bit was monkey jumping on the car and one of them sat on the bonnet of our car. The safari can only be accessed via your own vehicle and you can do unlimited rounds and then there is foot safari where you get to see loads of other animals. Must recommend!!

Wild animals you can see only lions .. kids play section is very nice . Good restaurant . Little expensive but it’s okay . Train ride is good . Unfortunately elephant show is under maintenance. Many shows as advertised is not happening. You can enjoy a nice boat ride .

Great day out today on a Sunday. We already had purchased tickets before hand and it was a straight in with the car, no holding back. Plenty of animals to see and kids loved it while we sat in the car driving around. Great picnic area however plenty of smaller activities were closed today such as the bird world. Small pedal boats and a train are available at no extra fee. Would definitely recommend it!!

The best part of this safari is, you can drive in the park and animals come close to your vehicle. It's a must visit place. The entry fee is around 30 pounds but it's worth paying. 30 pounds include entry and boating.

Nice safari. Animals have enough space to roam. Staff is friendly too. Foot safari as well. Good play area for the kids which includes a bouncy castle somewhere near restaurant. They also have a rope gym type park. A train also runs through a bit of the park for kids...not sure where it goes since we didn't take it and lastly there are swan boats. All of this is not included in the ticket price. If your car doesn't have AC then make sure to go on a cooler day because you have to keep your windows up through the lion and monkey parts. Overall it was a good safari and I liked it a lot but didn't love it for some reason.

Visited for the first time and we absolutely loved it! We will definitely be back again very soon. We were really impressed with the variety of animals that the park has, along with all of the information and fun facts about each breed. We thoroughly enjoyed the drive through and walk around parks - both offered a very different but exciting experience. The staff around the park were all amazing, nothing was too much for any of them and they were all happy to answer questions we had about the animals. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and happy to chat which is great. We watched several displays which were fascinating and very informative. We loved it and will definitely be back!

Nice for kids but smaller than I expected. Safari was done quite quickly although we stopped quite a bit. The walking zoo is nice but also quite small if compared to similar places. Impressed by the proximity of lions and rhinos, they do get close and personal so don't take a brand new car if you are precious about it (lion bit our bumper but we didn't mind, it's an interesting souvenir!).

Had a great day out. Thought it a bit pricey bit was actually worth the money. Watched Zebras walk around us in the car, Rhino's saunter around us, walked with Lemurs, spent time in the walk through aviary and saw the most amazing baby otter! Kids loved it, didn't do the paddle boats on the lake full of fish, or the train ride past the Llama's, take a picnic with you as it's nearly £15 for fish chips and mushy peas.

Excellent trip to Woburn Safari today. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The highlight was my 6 year old achieving the Giraffe Trail High Ropes, the 2 lovely ladies working this section were so good with him, he was terrified to start but desperate to give it a go, the lady Sophie (I believe) went above and beyond to calm him and reassure him and she gave him the confidence to set off and he absolutely loved it. 10/10, keep up the good work.

Really good place to go out for the day. Packed a lunch to take with us. Kids loved being that close to the animals and if you want, you can go round as many times as you like, which is great. Plenty of animals to see also a bird show. Lots of talks about the animals and how they live and which ones are endangered. They have swan boats you can go on and a wally train thats free to use. You can walk around where the wallaby's are and ostriches, they have albino wallaby's which are so cute. Toilets and park area for your picnic are very clean, plenty of hand gel sanitizer station and they gave us a small bottle for free when we showed our tickets and the guide book was free too. All in all we had a really good day out.

Would give 10 stars if it were possible. I gave my husband a certificate for the VIP safari “Big Cats' Breakfast” for the New Year as a gift. Yesterday we attended this event and were incredibly delighted! Our guide, Bob, showed everything in detail, even much more than the certificate suggested. We were able to feed the lions, touch the giraffes and pet the rhinoceros. This is one of the most memorable days of our lives! Bob gave a wonderful, interesting tour with excellent sense of humor. We were left with a lot of impressions. We really want to come back here again. The park is well equipped for visitors, there is a cafe with hot delicious lunches, a souvenir shop and all the amenities. Thanks to all the park employees, Bob, and, of course, the animals who welcomed us!

I went with my family and it was really fun!! Me and my brother loved seeing the animals so close and the lions looked so cool. The monkeys were the best, because they loved coming on our car! We also saw penguins, sea lions, elephants and even giraffes! Overall, really good experience!

The animals in the park seemed happy and well looked after. The park is beautiful and has a big space for the animals compared to traditional zoos. We joined an off road tour and it was very worth it! Our guides were friendly and helpful, and we had a close look of many different animals. Will be returning!

It was good day out experience. Animals looks free and healthy as they have lot of space to move. Monkeys area is a waste of time if you have seen monkeys before. The train ride is a waste considering the wating and the ride is at least 1hr. Children will enjoy the soft play better. All inclusive ticket is cheaper but vegetarian or vegan food options are terrible. That must be improved, the position size is shocking small compared to meet and fish options. **" Walking areas has no signal except very few, If you go as a team... Stay as a team as it is challenging to find once missed. It's sad that animals are exposed to lot of air pollution due to vehicles... Best if they have electric shuttles.

Really great day out and loads to do. Both the vehicle safari and foot safari were good and we managed to see all the animals during our time there. Food options on site could have been a little better as very limited. Easy to get to from Centre Parcs (15 mins) but make sure you take the sat nav postcode form the website and not just Google as takes you wrong way

Wow what a place… 100% worth a visit. I took my 2 children (10 & 9) and they absolutely loved it, from the moment we drove in they were amazed (as was I). For around £65 all 3 of us could drive in and get to see animals closer than ever before. The monkeys were a personal favourite but the lions, bears, giraffes were all a close 2nd. Then once you’ve finished the Safari (you can go again free of charge if you want) you can walk around the other part with loads more animals, cafes and experiences. Great day out 😁

Best safari in the UK I have visited. All animals are healthy and have loads of space to roam in. Wasnt too busy and traffic flowed through nicely. Watch out for the monkeys though as they enjoy jumping on the cars! The walking safari has plenty to see and also there is a big play area for young children indoors. All in all a good day out for the price!

Very very enjoyable day out. Rare to come across a entertainment venue that is truly worth the money. For the price, so much to do and explore. Safari was fantastic, saw Lions, Monkeys, Tiger, Bear, Giraffe, Elephants and Rhinos + many many more! Saw all close up. Fun train ride and boats are great too and amazing everything is included in price. My only qualm would be line for food was over 45 minutes and that too for a baguette. Not great and lacked on veggie options.

I enjoyed the Safari Park however not so much the walking zoo part. For those that worry about monkey jumping on cars during the Safari journey There is an option to skip it if you want. We were very excited about seeing tigers but unfortunately the first round going in there were no Tigers, so at the end of the day we went around again for a visit - going around the second time it’s free of charge. As for the walking zoo there was not enough enclosures, the canteen is outdated but very friendly and loyal staff. There are also activities such as the Dragon paddling (10 mins) and a train ride around the park (15 mins) and some good demonstrations and shows throughout the day for example parrots and sea lions were my highlights

Fun day out with the family at the Safari! Nice place for picnic, The monkeys were my highlight, jumping from one car to the other Lol! I found it hilarious! Lions were just chilling, like literally, just lying down, enjoying the attention. The bear, took a little dip in the little pond beside it as the weather was very hot, Giraffe and Zebras looking elegant and beautiful. There is a soft inflatable around the corner, for under 5s. There are a few restaurants on site and ice cream areas. I recommend you pay them a visit

It was my birthday trip and I had a simply amazing experience and a lot of fun. It was my first Safari by car. There were so many kinds of animals. Ofcourse monkeys are the best of the best. :)) Everyone just wait when some monkey jump on his/her car and I got it :)) Was a little bit sad that many kiosks were closed, but that's understandable because it's autumn, it was Monday and there aren't that many visitors anymore.

We especially enjoyed the monkey part of the safari as there were plenty of laughs and interesting sights. Would return at some point.

Our little family of 4 came here back in 2018, and we loved it, so we were so looking forward to coming again, and a bit worried too, as our experience last time was so good! We needn't have worried. What a truly ace day! The drive-through is as good as ever, and so unique, getting up and close with so many different animals is truly amazing, and the fact you can do this as often as you want is so brilliant. The rest of the park is equally brilliant too. Informative, interesting, captivating. You could never fail to be disappointed here. Our only worry was that the Capybara looked a bit tender bless it, we do hope he/she is OK! Oh, and the staff are awesome too. The keepers are so knowledgeable and engaging, and the retail staff are ace too. Woburn, you are so ace! Please continue to be so!! We will be back obviously! Couldn't recommend this place highly enough. Love, love, love. ❤️

Amazing day for us! There weren’t many visitors so we had such a relaxed drive around the safari and couldn’t believe there were bears! The foot safari is small and dated, also in the winter a lot of it’s closed (understandable) but there were lovely animal encounters there too!

Had an amazing morning with the animals roaming freely around the park. I did the drive through park and it was so much better than I expected. The drive paths are wide enough not to feel pressured by cars behind you every time you stop to enjoy the animals around, as there's always more than enough space for other cars to drive past you. There's also a little park/leisure area where you can enjoy and some picnic tables too! Try doing the swan thing on the lake if you want to feel like a child again! Definitely worth the visit.

We had a fantastic time on the Safari Off Road Adventure VIP Experience. Getting up close to amazing animals on such a beautiful Safari Park. We all had a wonderful time especially the 3 year old. Feeding the Giraffes was amazing fun. Richard, our guide was very personable and knowledgable. Top guy and credit to him. Only thing they need to improve which hope they will consider doing is at foot safari is wayfinding as it's unclear and confusing for people when going to certain animals. Overall I would highly recommend the Woburn Safari Off Road V.I.P Experience. Would definitely do again in future 5*

Great experience, you can drive round at your own pace and see many of the animals including lions , elephants , rhinos and monkeys that climb on your car. The whole drive took around 1-2hours. At the end you stop at a walk around centre with smaller animals to see and talks. Toilets food and play areas also. There is a train and pedalos that are fun. There is also a seal show worth seeing. Tes of the shows are on displays around the map. You can also go around the drive safari again as mant times as you like.

I've been there so many times and I keep coming! Awesome place where animals are really being taken good care of. Unlike Zoos, animals can enjoy a lot of freedom! Just make sure to always watch what's going on around your car in the "drive-through" safari, as this time, someone lost a mirror and another car got a bump in their front door (done by some sort of Alpine Ibex - the brown/red animal will horns in my first photo I posted). Last time, a little Peugeot lost one of their lights at the back when a few red cows with big horns decided to pass, and an Audi got a "bump" on their bonnet when one of these big cows decided to jump on it a couple of times! 😅

The VIP off-road experience was the best! Our ranger Helen was really knowledgeable. The jeep took us closer to animals like lions, ostrich, monkeys, antlers, deers, mongoose. My nephew was really excited and enjoyed feeding the giraffes. It was the best experience ever for the nephew (and his aunt as well)!!!! Totally worth the money. Highly recommended to take the tour with Helen.

🦓🐴🫎🐻🐮🐯🦁🐺🐎🐂🦬🦒🐫🦌🐅🐒🐘🦔🐧🦢Woburn safari park. Nice zoo, lot of animals but very few in number. Kids will love it definitely. Car safari is more safer. Also there is an area which you can walk and explore the non dangerous animals zoo. In which it includes porcupine, penquins ,birds, squirrels etc. Overall a very nice experience 🌟

Great experience for both adults and children. Love how much love, care and land is given to these beautiful animals. Such a pleasant drive and great service from the team. The entire trip can be done on multiple occasions which is worth your money. Must go!

Nice drive out with the kids! The kids quite enjoyed the flexibility and it was something between a zoo and a real safari. They were also not tired at all.

I made such a beautiful zoo trip for the first time in my life, it was really extraordinary, it was like I was doing a safari in Africa. but the only thing i don't like is the lions there was are very quiet And also the monkeys was very quiet But its very nice to go with your family and friends to spend nice times I’m sure kids they will love it Also, if we need to talk about environmental cleanliness, it was very clean. Wish you have great time for everyone. 👌🏼

Visited on a Friday and was not crowded. Overall a pleasant experience. The road safari is nice with some really nice touches like driving through a group of giraffes or having monkeys jump on your car. It is not very long per se, I think we were done in 1h with a few stops. However the place has really good facilities with play areas that we enjoyed a lot, including a big soft play area!

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Woburn Safari Park. The animals all looked happy and healthy and the highlight of our trip was the monkeys casually sitting on the roof of our car as we slowly made our way around their section! On our visit the monkeys seemed well behaved and weren’t trying to steal any windscreen wipers or licence plates, but there’s a bypass lane if you’re worried about your car as we all know they can be mischievous. The admission fees were very reasonable considering once you’re in, you can go around the road safari as much as you like and there’s lots more to see and do on foot. The food inside was priced about the same as similar attractions so you cannot complain really. The staff were fantastic also. We will certainly be returning in the future.

Such a great experience driving through the enclosures. When you have family with mobility issues, this is a brilliant way to still get close to the animals, from the comfort of your car. Plenty of animals to see and some come up quite close. My favourite by far were the tigers and the lions. The enclosures are huge and its great to see so much space for the animals to roam in. If you don't want scratches or broken wing mirrors, you can bypass the monkey enclosure (and go see them on foot instead, in the walk about section). Some of the walk about section isn't very wheelchair friendly with all the hills and dips, it makes it quite tricky. There is plenty to explore though. And the close encounter experience with the giraffes, was amazing. Feeding them and being in the enclosure, you just don't realise how tall they actually are, until your beside them up close. Great day out for all the family 👍

Good variety of animals nice and easy setup would recommend not going on extremely sunny day as can get very busy other than that really nice place to walk around for the family

The park is wonderful to visit, and the animals are well cared for. Old and young alike will love all that is on offer. Despite restrictions, the staff do their uttermost to ensure that each visit is special.

Good place for kids. Although the small animals enclosures doesn't have too many animals. For examples, meerkats are very few in number.

Travelled over a hour and half. Hardly saw any animals. The animals were so far away when we got there. Everytime we tried to get a photo the people who worked there was in the way. Isnt worth £100 which we paid for 4 people. Aswell as the petrol to get there and back. Very disappointed!

Really nice place to spend an afternoon, though not easy to find the entrance; Google maps had us driving in circles. We spent about 4 hours there in total, and really enjoyed both the drive through and walk around areas.

Amazing. Drove around twice, saw many cool animals, best day out this summer. Sometimes people stop and create a jam near the lions. But other than that absolutely amazing. Has a large array of animals, plus a walk about section. Will go again for the vip tour as that gets you quick and right up to the animals with the keepers!

Beautiful experience for children and adults. The drive through was a great and we had a little monkey on our car which was a perfect treat for our daughter.

Should have had more animals to avoid going around twice and was quite expensive to get in (£27). Lots of annoying traffic jams around the giraffes and monkeys (hardly any monkeys I was very dissapointed). I felt the traffic could have been organised better to avoid waiting for ever and a day to get through. Some of the rangers acting unpleasant and rude whilst showing off in their jeeps . Try smiling it's free ! However it was a good day out and I enjoyed seeing tge animals. Avoid going on a hot day if you don't have air conditioning in your car.

Took the VIP tour with our guide Bob who was amazing. It was wonderful to get up to close and be able to touch & feed the animals, the children (8 & 16) both thoroughly enjoyed the tour and the vast knowledge from Bob. Most visitors dont realise that the Elephants in particular have over 500 acres of forest to roam freely and that when you visit they are in one of several enclosures so you are able to see them. Going behind the scenes and witness the care and love the staff have for the animals and the enclosures and facilities are just so clean and well maintained, even the Rhino paddock! Bob thank you for a wonderful day and allowing us to feed the Giraffes (Hi Caspar!) and visit Kai the big softie Rhino!

Great place, lots of space for the animals, can go at your own pace. Loved seeing the bears, rhinos and tigers. Staff very friendly, see you again soon! I love tigers and one came right up to the bonnet. Staff were nearby to encourage him to move on and we let him cross and carried on slowly. Really cool experience to be up close.

Really enjoyed the visit. Its scary initially seeing big animals and cats roaming around you but then you start to appreciate and enjoy the habitat. My personal favourite is up and close with lions but I prayed hard that my car does not breakdown in their enclosure :). Overall, lush green place and good drive.

Great day out with kids in winter when it is cold and not many outdoor activities. Instead of stuck in rooms sit in car and look outside + get some sunlight. Monkey area is fun for kids especially when they climb up on the car which makes kid really happy.

Couldn’t see the Tigers :(( Traffic within the Safari was tragic, i didn’t see the train going around in the foot safari. Walked around and only saw ice cream vending machines and all the ice cream stools were closed, so were the “soft drink” stools.

  • 3/5 Sal 1 year ago on Google
The safari part was decent but not amazing. The number of animals on offer is fairly limited and some of the "heavy hitters" (such as tigers) were a no-show during my visit. The foot safari however is abysmal, with little-to-no attractions, and the majority of animals which can be viewed on a farmer's field. At £30 per head, I'd say go Longleat instead.

This place is good, that"s why I've been here thrice. Staff are very friendly and protective. There was a train ride, animal shows and kangaroo walk through. However, cafe' queues are very long , which needs to be improved. Clear big signs of entry and exit from the Safari would be good to have. Buying tickets online were easy they had slots to enter but not fuzzy about it.

I never knew we had a safari park in the UK until 2 months ago. I eventually visited yesterday. It was good. I must say though that it was a bit disappointing that many of the wilder and more dangerous animals seemed exhausted and so they were lying down or having a nap. This could have because it was midday and they were probably exhausted and needed a nap. We could not see them in their full glory. Some were nowhere to be found even. Probably napping in the bushes. I loved the monkeys. They were very naughty and mischievous as expected of monkeys. The giraffes were the most curious. Locking eyes with us and probably wondering who these aliens are. We enjoyed walking around and the Parrot show was beautiful. You could tell the young lady handlers or trainers have been doing this for years. The parrots were amazing. We didnt get a chance at the train ride cause I was tired of waiting in line. About 25 minutes wait. The swan boat ride was good too. There are restaurants about, although we didn't use them. There are also toilets on site and lots of parking spaces. Overall, it was a nice experience.

Hard to compare this to anything, as have not been on any safari or experience like it before. I really enjoyed coming and thought the price was reasonable. We went round twice which definitely felt like it was worth doing, managed to see some animals we missed the first time. I especially loved the monkey part :-) I would say the shop is quite overpriced but I guess they have big upkeep costs!

We had the best experience at Woburn. The safari park is the obvious highlight and we were lucky enough to have some interaction with the ostriches, black bear and monkeys! Will be heading back this summer!

Lots of animals to see and the rangers were keeping everyone safe. The drive through works well and it’s wide enough for people to stop and overtake. It’s great you can go round as many times as you like. Only 4 star as lots of bits were shut but def worth the trip. We also had a character visit for some photos and my little one loved it!

What a day! Not too big and not too commercialised. Great drive through safari and lovely walking safari. Kids were 5&7 and loved it. Cafe Esther pricey but you can take a picnic as plenty of seating outside

Great time at safari!!! 5* for safari only! So it was our first visit to Woburn Safari we enjoyed a lot with kids. Safari was clean and easy to navigate everything. There was one big NO and that was FOOD” the was so extremely poor quality like very poor. We were 8 people and imagine we wasted all Our money the food tasted worse then anything. Mac&cheese was terrible, roasted potatoes tasted old off, fish and chips the chips were obviously fine but fish was cheap and poor quality. We spend over £60 and we did not eat and everything went in the bin. Was very disappointing for kid’s specially.

Visited with children and they loved it! View of the animals was great and they were so close to the car. Great play area after the main drive and nice to walk around animal exhibits. Recommend this for families
