This visit was for a ticketed event, plenty of room for the tables. Only downside was the long queue for the bar. Drinks were on the expensive side too. Enough street parking nearby too.

Staff are so nice and welcoming. We just wandered in for a nosey, and a man came out to give us a tour of the rooms. The kids got to sit where the Mayor sits and mess about with the gavel. Very random yet pleasant stop to our morning after story time at the library

Attended for a dance competition for my daughter. Venue is centrally located and easy to find. Venue was very nice inside and spacious.

its alright but they shouldn't make ladies toilet ways through kitchen.

Good place to hold a concert, came to watch the Lancashire Fusiliers concert band and Guests and it was excellent. The acoustics and the architecture of the room made it sound better and gave it a good atmosphere . As it was a charity event it could have done with more bums on seats but everyone who attended was treated to an excellent performance from very professional musicians who put their hearts 💕 and soul in to it and deserved all the applause 👏 they got. Looking forward to seeing them again.

Only ever been in that building part about 3 times in over twenty one years. But today was for a good reason.

Only ever been here for the film club and it's fab. Was a luvly day for the kids and to meet there favorite films characters. Would definitely recommend it.

Stunning building was here for my daughters dance competition. The space was well equipped for large numbers. Only negative was parking was difficult and ended up parking away from the venue. My daughter can't wait to go back for another competition and hopefully 1st place 👍

Refurbished and looks good, although there are doors were there seems to be some defects on walls of possible plaster coming off.

Lovely large dance floor, beautifully kept. Nice low stage and lighting. Dramatic stone balcony.... But the view from there s central Accrington which means dodgy pubs, for sale signs and gambling dens....

After living in Accrington for a number of years... this last week attended a workshop type event.... The Ballroom is beautiful... it has a stage area which could accommodate a live band. The room is light and airy and the decor beautiful... a lovely venue for weddings, parties etc...

Absolutely beautiful hall. Very grand. Lovely balcony to look down onto outside. Perfect wedding venue. Friendly bar staff. Nearby parking. Lift for disabled or infirm. Recommended

The centre of Accrington is a delight with classical Victorian architecture of the town hall and the nearby Market Hall dominating the Square. The Town Hall which was originally the Sir Robert Peel assembly rooms became the Town Hall in the 1870's when the impressive mosaic floor was introduced. We rarely notice what is beneath our feet, but it's certainly worth a look down as you enter and marvel at the intricacy of the work and design of the impressive floor.

The council meeting was a disgraceful it was that bad one lady was crying it all goes down 2 of them its about them that HBC did for the public what it's for to look after the council tax payer
