👍👍 Very good chicken rice, not haineese style it seems (chicken hot) but very nice - chilli sauce just like in malaysia/singapore. Roti Canai lovely, probably one of the nicest ive had. People often mention Onde, Malaysian, chicken, Nasi,

Have always had to travel to London before for Malaysian food. Not anymore, very authentic taste. Will definitely be going again (and again!!) Visited again 22/5/23 for my wife’s birthday, she’s originally from Malaysia and really enjoyed the authentic Malaysian food. If you want a taste of Malaysia without going to Malaysia, I thoroughly recommend Onde Onde. To make the meal extra special the staff at Onde Onde brought a Tiramisu cake with a candle for my wife.

Authentic Malaysian food! At least for the Nasi lemak, roti canai and onde onde that I've tried. The ayam goreng reminded me of home! Portion is generous so justifying the slightly expensive price.

So excited when I found out that there is a Malaysian Food place in Staines. We of course indulge straight away to the ultimate Laksa. And it did’nt disappoint us. Tasty, not overly spicy and the broth was thick and creamy. Also tried the Cucur Udang which was also yummy. Their portions are massive so dishes can be shared if you are a fan of variety when eating. We also love their onde onde! And what sets this place apart from the rest on the food court, was the smiley faces of the servers/ order takers.

Authentic Malaysian food. The Cucur Udang (Prawn Fritters) sauce is especially great, truly authentically Malaysian style - freshly made (not from a bottle). Tasty Curry Laksa, Fried Noodles (Mee Goreng). Friendly and sweet owner 💕 Looking forward to visit again. The Onde-onde (the green ball dessert) is nice too.

Truly superb, highly recommend, ... Sad they are not able to sell teh tarik ....suggest a Nasi Lemak with Beef Rendang, a Roti Chani to start with an original pearl hot tea ... I keep thinking trying Japanese or Taiwan or Duck or Thai ... But cannot get past Malay in this incredible Food Court. I think I'm going to have to stay a day in Staines, lunch at Onde Onde and dinner at ... Duck/Pork/Japan... Else I doubt I'll ever get there. 🤗

Follow up review. Had two very good dishes yesterday 16 Nov 2022. Mee Kari 7/10 and Mee Goreng Mamak 7/10. Now they just need to sort out their ayam goreng berempah to go with their previously very good nasi lemak. Apologies for ½ eaten food photos below. Forgot to take photos prior to starting meal.

I had been having a terrible day. I came into Staines Food Court and had this amazing salad for an incredibly low price, and I left feeling nurtured, nourished and enormously better. Thank you Onde Onde for the delicious food made with care.

Authentic Malaysian food! Good selection of menu. Love the dessert and snack. Hard to find authentic Malaysian homemade snack in London. Finding a parking spot could be a challenge though.

Sept 23 I feel like I need to keep updating my review for this place because people need an honest opinion. Food here when it’s right, it’s great. But it lacks consistency. I do have 2 issues recently: Bought some of the ‘kuih’ on promo - and 2 out of the 3 boxes were off! Probably been left out too long and they had this ‘off’ sour taste to it. Meaning bacteria has been breeding. They’re not cheap anyway per box. Please, promo doesn’t mean it should be a way to get rid of your older unsold stock. It’s disappointing. Second, we went to the food court for lunch. There were about 10 of us. I thoroughly recommended Onde Onde to them. 4 of us bought from Onde Onde but the amount of food was half the size. Even my colleague commented the Bihun Goreng is now half the portion. So for now…. 3 stars. Now… (Aug 23) I have to recommend this stall. Amazing food albeit a bit spicy for me. If unsure, ask for mild or medium. I would recommend their: Nasi Kandar (google it - it’s historical) Mee Laksa Roti Canai Bihun Goreng Nasi Goreng Nasi Lemak And their desserts. So very yum! Expensive but yum. 4 months ago… I don’t recommend their chicken rice at all. The chicken is super dry and the broth too oily. Go to Meet Up, another stall within Staines Food Court. Has the best chicken rice this side of the Far East! This chicken rice is also quite expensive. All of Onde’s dishes are expensive compared to the others especially the cakes in boxes. So tiny and it’s over £1 a piece. It’s disappointing because street food isn’t supposed to be this costly.

Service very friendly and helpful I did order Nasi Kandar but was given Nasi Lemak but I love nasi lemak so it wasn’t a big deal for me. It was very nice and very authentic definitely reminds me of the taste when I was in Malaysia same goes for the Yong tau Foo. Such an authentic taste. We enjoyed the food here my wife being from Malaysia was very happy her only problem was she didn’t know what to have there was so much choice. Definitely will be coming back.

Best tasting combination laksa I have ever had, and I’ve eaten a lot of laksa in a lot of places. This is my comfort food, I will be back and often. I’m so happy Onde-onde exists!
