Myself and my partner were shopping in Newcastle on Saturday 30th April. When we got back in the car with all the shopping & the baby, I noticed my purse was missing however I didn’t realise until we got home. I called the car park on the off chance that someone would have handed it in as all my cards aswell as cash was inside, however all I was bothered about was finding it. Luckily, on his morning walk around the day after Ryan (Car park attendant) had found it to my relief! I will be forever grateful to him & his colleague who met me to return it on Sunday afternoon. Thank you both so so much, my faith in humanity has been restored! Absolute heroes!

So much cheaper than the gate, on a Sunday it's a pound an hour yet the one next door where everyone seems to go leaves you in an overdraft within 7 minutes. Carpark does exactly what it should, I managed to park my car in there and it hadn't been broken into. Definitely recommend over the gate on a Sunday, rest of the days though it does have your pants down on price. Space size is fantastic, even my girlfriend who drives a land rover and has the driving skills of Stevie wonder doesn't have a problem getting parked. No tramps in the lift and no smell of urine, excellent πŸ‘

My car had the best time at this car park. I came back from dinner and he looked so happy, he was surrounded by some other nice cars too so I think he had made some lovely friends.

Safe car park, but unless you have a SUV you’re going to badly scrape and damage your bumper. Even at 0.5mph. They put a big portable sandwich board sign in the middle of the really steep entrance & exit ramp. So you have no choice but to take the approach angle directly head-on with no angle. Really frustrating and thoughtless. You can hear most cars that enter hit the bumper when you are paying for your ticket. If anyone monitors these reviews, can you please move the sign. It’s a tight and steep enough car park as it is.

Thank you to Paul Atkinson. I had been to work, paid for my parking and found my car wouldn't start. I called the office to explain and said the AA were on their way but could be up to an hour. Paul was so friendly and told me they had a battery booster and would give that a go. 3 minutes later my car was up & running. So I could get home and not have to wait around for the AA, i cancelled the recovery and was off home with no delay. I always see Paul out and about working when I park up for work and he is always very friendly. Thanks again Paul!

Clean car park, very well lit and plenty of spaces, especially on the upper floors. Could do with some way of knowing another car is coming on the opposite side as the ramps are narrow. Much better to pay on exit instead of checking an app like the council car parks as always felt like I’m on a timer. Will be parking again!

Never thought I'd be reviewing a car park but this one is really fantastic! Very safe, clean and clearly a great deal of pride from management. Night and day with the alternative car park next door!

Great Car Park and location I had an issue with downloading the wrong Q Park app This was no problem to Paul Mc who the next day cancelled my booking and rebooked me on the system in the correct way to get my discount. He was a top gent and did this off his own back .... So many thanks Paul !! Re the car park its very modern, wide parking berths and great location in the heart of the town.. Thanks once again, Martin

Beautifull carpark next to city center and in the middle off little chinatown. Guys just park there without the problems off getting in or out of the city.

Easy to park reasonably priced considering it's central location, simple drive in drive out with the ring go app, number plate recognition, no need to use a card or pay machine

This is an excellent car park if you are visiting the city centre. It's close to bars, shops hotels. The car park is so clean. I parked overnight and it was well lit and secure. I was happy to leave my car there. When I parked there Paul A helped me with directions to where I was going. When I came back the next day for my car I had problems with my prepaid barcode, and again he sorted it out quickly for me. I wouldn't park anywhere else when coming to Newcastle

Lovely and clean, very well lit and reasonable fees. There are attendants on site who can help you if you need jump leads, umbrellas or to answer any questions. You feel very safe in this multistorey. Stair wells are clean and well lit as well and the lift dosent smell of anything... unsavoury.

Excellent city centre car park - secure, well lit, good sized spaces, scrupulously clean & well maintained. Easy to find and very reasonable prices for such a central location. Would definitely use again when next visiting Newcastle. πŸ‘

Great parking facility, the central location and large parking spaces made this an ideal choice for me. The staff were efficient and courteous and helped with a lost property issue which was swiftly and efficiently dealt with which I thanked them for. Highly recommend this modern, clean and well lit parking facility with excellent CCTV.

Thanks to very helpful Ryan MC at Q Park on Stowell St who jump started my dead battery in seconds and with a friendly smile this evening. Great experience that went from disaster to good-news-story in minutes of speaking to him.

Shocking experience. Stuck in a lift for almost an hour, emergency call button in the lift didn't work so I had to call the emergency services. Once we where released there was a "parking host" that didn't even apologise he just gave us a card and said "write your comments here." He kindly said "I'll open the barrier so you don't have to pay." we told him that we had already paid and he replied "ya but that might have run out." I would be interested to see the inspection and test records for the lift emergency call button to see if they are up-to-date.

The car park is cheap - that’s about where the positives end. Usually busy and quite tight to navigate. Also, when we visited there were three lifts (necessary as there are 11 parking floors) - two of which were out of commission and the third we ended up trapped inside. Unfortunately the car park isn’t manned, so having been trapped in there for 30 minutes with no communication, we were told β€œan engineer will be with you in around half an hour”. Fortunately a bystander managed to free us soon after, but this situation is dangerous, as there is no signal in the lift so we couldn’t call anyone and had to resort to shouting for bystanders to contact someone. Once freed, there was no representative of the car park to assist or apologise. I’ve used this car park several times but will be avoiding it in the future.

Ryan was amazing! I had prepaid my parking but my phone died, Ryan sorted my phone out so I could access my prepaid parking and not end up paying triple!! So helpful thank you ❀️

Shockingly expensive it cost Β£14 for 4 hours from 17:12-21:32. Absolute rip off. I meant to park at The Gate but I’m not familiar with the street and the Gate is second turn on the left. Will never park here again.

😠 Horrendous new parking system of check in and check out. Incorrectly charged the hold amount and refunded the cost of my actual stay. If petrol pumps can hold an amount and smoothly update to the actual charge why can't you? Have to wait a week to report it and then god knows how long for the actual...

😠 PLEASE use any other car park. These cowboys will rip you off. £18 for 5 hours today... MENTAL costs vs nearby parking - Quayside, Grainger Town and Dean Street are all open until midnight and a fraction of the cost. Use these instead. Don't fund profiteering.

πŸ‘ A car park is a car park I suppose. We use it when we visit Newcastle for the football at St. James' Park, it being a short walk away. The only negative is how very tight the entrances and exits are. The route between floors is equally as tight. Drivers need to concentrate at all times. There is usu...
