Disappointing. More like a market than a car boot and to noisy with load music and butcher shouting over top of it.

Went to cheese festival, loads of fab cheese and by far the best pies l have ever had sold on the March Farm stall

I went to the Tuesday Market it was buzzing, lots of good choices a variety of stalls. Including collectables, DIY accessories tools, really good fruit and veg stall excellent coffee. Hot food, plant stalls, people seemed to be soaking up the atmosphere, fresh meats and fresh fish something to suit everyone, really nice atmosphere.

Overall I would have given it 1 star but for Chinese food stall which I would give it 5 stars on it's own food great cup of tea £1 everyone else was charging £2.50 or more stalls that are there every Tuesday were charging extra everything was too expensive except the Chinese stall + the £6 per person admission fee get your act together Melton Market or you will end up a Ghost Town like Newark on Trent

The car boot is not as big and busy as it was before the lockdown, but it's slowly picking up and still bargains to be had...

A real shadow of its former self. Some stalls just trying to sell junk others stalls trying to sell over priced items you can pick up cheaper on line. Credit to the organisers as they have tried to keep the place "Covid safe" but public not following distances rulea or face masks being used in enclosed spaces. A real shame for the county...

Car boot is always good for food stalls and lots of things to look through. Farmers market is out of this world! Very interesting

Had a good day at the cheese fayre that was held here. Plenty of stalls with different types of cheese at fair prices. Entertained by a gospel choir and Morris dancers will sitting in the sun enjoying a cold beer.

No complaints about the stalls that were there and the quality of stuff being sold, but I simply can't give it more than 2 stars due to the outrageous £6 to get in, basically for the privilege of spending more money - and some of the stalls like Bowrings can be visited there for free on a Tuesday. Surely stallholders would pay a fee but customers should get in free?

Excerllent but even better September to February

Very well organised and excellent stalls. As a carer I was happy my brother was allowed to visit without paying.

Over rated. I want to love it, but I've been a couple of times and come away with nothing at all. Alot of stalls selling the same things- all new goods obviously bulk bought (cheap) to sell on.

I absolutely love this place,full of friendly folk & superb traders,but it has gone downhill massively when it stopped the fur & feather auction & sundries auction.it brought in so many people for these auctions that now don't attend,if management at market listened to the public it could once again be the best market in the country.reinstate it to its former glory.

I've been coming to the market since I was a child and I still love the market the Tuesday Market has a wide variety of stalls fruit and veg, eggs antiques.,key cutting, food outlets, bars, loos, fishmonger, butchers it's got so much to offer all at great prices well worth a visit it's a great place to visit if your in melton

Great variety of quality products most of them at fair price. Well laid out event with plenty of breakout areas. Great experience.

We went for the table top sale in the sheds and the town market ,nice just to amble around, Jenny's does some very nice Asian foods.

Really enjoyed the experience with a stroll down into town for market day . Nice independent shops

I went to the Choc fest at Stockyard Market. It was my first visit to Melton Mowbray on a coach trip but it was for Chocolate, so why not? There were plenty of stalls selling everything from toys to vegetables including a variety of hot food stalls. There were plenty of places to sit and eat and toilet facilities. I had a stroll around the main streets of Melton Mowbray but as it was Sunday there were not many shops open and it was very quiet. But it was a great visit and the market was awesome.

Very Popular market. Ideal for food treats hot dishes to eat too. Great for special gifts and discovering lots of locally produced foods. Covered market with tables and seating. Great for Christmas shopping esp when it hosts the festivals.

Went to check out the Food Festival which was hosted there, it was amazing and plenty of stalls for cheese and food to check out.

Good to look round and find things you may need.

Great market but disgusting toilet facilities really let things down. It's the same every week, toilet door in the men's is still hanging off after a month. The smell is over powering and the weather isn't warm yet,no soap in dispenser. Come on Farmers market get this sorted out!!!!

Great people, if you want a random thing, see what's up for grabs for cheap or some tools or to spend a morning meeting interesting people and having a banging bacon Bap then this is ideam

Nice Sunday car boot. £10 to stand which is more than other car boots but you can be under cover.

Going down hill, stall rent up, entrance fee up. The powers that be don't want it to survive.

Good car boot where you can choose indoors or outdoors pitch, the only annoyance is the people trying to buy off you before you unload

The Friday farmers market is great quality suppliers and products. The Sunday car boot spoilt by the number of people that can't follow a basic one way system put in place to protect us all in these difficult times. 5 stars for farmers market 2 stars for car boot.
