Many wonderful details make this a hidden gem. The hotel is has ALL the amenities; vast halls to roam, pool/ hot tub, games, couches, conference areas, tables to work, multiple restaurants… really good maintenance… not only is the property taken care of, the cleaning staff did great and the FRONT DESK were exceptionally nice. Love the cast iron stair cases and “Main Street” USA design to first floor. Be a good hotel to get work done and have a meeting to not get too distracted but still with beautiful surroundings. Not mention god himself came down and sculpted these hills and hollers in KY, certainly beautiful.

This should be the LAST room they give anyone. The air conditioning unit is directly above this room. You hear it kick on and off constantly all night long. Spiders in the windows/curtains. The standing water in the tub while showering due to lack of draining. The lady at the front desk said did you call to tell us. No- the job of housekeeping is to have the rooms ready for when guests arrive. The job of maintenance is to fix things that go wrong during a stay or to maintain the property. If housekeeping is cleaning the tub then they knew it doesn’t drain. I did however leave them a note and notify them when I checked out. The priority on this mid October day is putting up Christmas decorations. I would make it more of a priority to ensure a working hotel. Room #269. I would only ever give someone this room if it was the last option and I’m positive that was not the case. I thought I took a photo of the tub not draining but I must not have. The beds seemed clean and the floor seemed clean for being carpet. Pretty outdated hotel. Options are pretty limited in this area.

We live less than an hour away and wanted to take a short trip before my job got busy. The place is spotless and their room rates are reasonable for what they offer (e.g., indoor/outdoor pool, hot tub, rec area, and exercise room). They offer a very nice breakfast menu in which the quality of food is excellent and inexpensive. The restaurant in the hotel building is also convenient. We will definitely go back!

Best hotel in Eastern KY. Had several of our class reunions there and they have a restaurant and bar inside. Very clean I would give it 5 stars but a bit pricey for what you are getting. However it’s very clean and safe inside for those in the area that need a great place to stay.

Our 2-night stay at the Ramada was very pleasant. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food at the Breakfast Cafe and Honey B restaurant was reasonably priced and very good.

Rooms and entire building were clean and well maintained. A special thanks to the female short order cook for making my breakfast. She was very kind and accommodating. This didn’t get five stars because a storm had gone through and my room ac went out, maintenance tried fixing but couldn’t. Front desk said to move me to next room over, maintenance man opened the door and went to get me a key, I had 3/4 of my stuff all moved and front desk called and said sorry you can’t have that room someone is it. I said there is nothing in I was here for 3wks for work. the room and had been cleaned, well apparently a local worker has the same room all the time and I needed to move for a second time. It was late and was not happy. The other thing is the pool is used as a local community pool and always busy with kids. Just when you want to relax you can’t

The whole floor smells of pot and cigarettes. When I approached the lady at the front desk about it she replied well you’ll have that with smoking rooms around. I mentioned the state I’m from has a no smoking in hotels. She continued to be rude and offered no solution. Between the smell and what I can only describe as MMA fights going on in the rooms sleep wasn’t a luxury I got to enjoy for two nights.

Wish I could stay here longer. Beautiful place to stay with plenty to see and do right here. Indoor / outdoor pool, ping pong tables, pool table, air hockey table, a couple tables with chess / checker boards, a beautiful fountain inside. Can't say enough good about this place.

We stayed here for 4 nights over Thanksgiving and the staff are wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. My back normally hurts after a night sleep but the beds here where so comfortable I slept better then I do at home. I need to order one of those mattresses. The pool is awesome too. I'd say the only down side to this hotel is there is no free breakfast, but a great place to stay for sure. We have family in the area and we stay here at least once a year.

It was an extremely nice hotel with all of the amenities one could ask for. The property is very well kept with a restaurant/lounge and indoor swimming pool all on the premises. A friendly and knowledgeable staff is willing and able to help you at the drop of a hat. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
