The store and products are very well kept. The only issue is a manager there (Joe) is very disrespectful to not only customers, but his staff. I’ve heard numerous complaints of how he call employees in to pick up a shift and says that they “owe him one” or they don’t have a good enough excuse to not come in. Also, during my personal shopping experience I asked a few questions, and he was very annoyed and uninterested in helping. I do have to say the other managers are very respectful and have always helped me out!

Manager extremely rude and intimidating. Profiled me. Didn’t want me shopping in store for being homeless told me he has been watching how I spend my money for weeks. As a victim of stalking this was incredibly disturbing. Will use all avenues to make sure he’s held accountable for this predatory behavior.

Every time I shop here there’s a dog in here. Why does this store allow dogs? It’s disgusting. Also all the shopping carts knock on the floor every second because a wheel is squared. Next time I’ll take a photo of a dog and attach to this review. Today it was a pit Bull

The usual with giant markets. Not stocked, items run out and don't get refilled for a week or 2. And how is it possible a grocery store repeatedly runs out of cases of bottled water. Been dealing with that for years now. You'd think it would be a simple solution.. Other stores yes, not for the giant. They still haven't figured out how to order more inventory.

Did you ever go all over town, store to store. I'm just hearing my daughters ask if we can try another store. We thought hope was lost. When other stores don't have Yakisoba Cheddar Noodles, The Giant does!! My daughters are very happy.

It's a clean store, well kept. The fresh and vegetables sections is very well replenished and filled, with organics and natural products. You may find it hard, however, to operate the self-check scales. But it is not necessary to do so, you may weight every in the common check out. There are general groceries, eggs, fresh meat, electronics, pharmacy and some toys and gifts at the store, but not clothing, except one or other souvenir, perhaps. The staff is, in general, polite and smiley. The prices are not the best, but there is always some deal or offer.

Absolutely love this store! There are so many options to choose from. The employees are super helpful and I have never had an issue with any of the fresh food I have bought here. They have awesome coupons both on their app and at the entrance for customers to use!

The manager and deli crew are great. I know it's the self service associates job to observe the customers but some of them are so close that are basically standing on your shoulder. I don't mind being observed at a distance but it's a little much at times and they need to observe Everybody.

The woman working the self checkout this afternoon was extremely rude!! From the second I went to start scanning my item she came over literally yelling to me that I’m not supposed to ring the free ham up at that register ( mind you I have done so every time and the attendant just comes and scans their card with no problems) she rudely told me to scan it last and then bring the certificate over to her yet when I did that she said no now I have to go over and cancel it! Then told me she had to ring it at her register which was fine until she continued being nasty to myself and other customers all while making it seem like I am a charity case because of the free ham!! I am far from a charity case, I chose to use the free ham certificate over the gas points that is customers earn by the amount of money we spend there! When I called the store manager he did not care at all, his only response was that the normal cashier called off and she was a fill in. Said they’re working on certifying staff for self checkout. I have no idea how being certified has anything to do with an employees attitude but I will say I won’t spend a penny in that store again! I will pay more elsewhere. I have managed a store for years now and would be absolutely mortified if my staff were to act as disrespectfull at this woman was. She was clearly having a bad day but you don’t take a bad day out on paying customers. If she doesn’t like her job maybe she should find another one. She should not be in customer service at all!! I’m not the only one checking out there that she was rude to either. Good luck, employees like that will ruin a good business quickly.

The prices are competitive and they have a variety of quality products throughout the store. The produce sections is the best everything is FRESH. Very clean and shelves are fully stocked The employees are friendly and helpful 😀.

Probably the worst cashier I have ever seen. I was kind enough to bag my groceries to help keep the line moving and she just watched me and began to ring up the next customer. Only time she even attempted to help was when I said "don't worry I guess I'll fo it myself. Not one to complain normally but I found her completely lazy and disrespectful. Seems like the management team needs to spend more time training the cashiers in how to do their job.

I had a bad experience with a cashier and Manager Hank (I believe) and Team Lead Nina (I believe) mediated the situation. Nina was so polite and helpful to myself and my baby. Also shoutout to the super nice cashiers on self checkout I didn’t catch their names. They were not only attentive but beyond kind. At least most of the front end team was compassionate and kind to us tonight, thank you again for that.

What could I say about this store . Mangers are very nice . Some of the staff could learn some manners and practice social skills they are lacking! I usually don't leave names but I would like to leave this name, about one of the workers Amanda . Please work on your manners and tone of voice!

Had a great manufacturer sale on pasta.. other than that we just needed a snack real quick and tried the new to us soft serve ice cream I half gallons.... kids loved it.

If you wear sunglasses in the store and are tan/brown the management/staff will follow you and "nonchalantly" have an employee also be outside to follow and then look at your car. There's better ways to handle your loss prevention that do not involve making people who didn't do anything wrong uncomfortable I'll take pictures next time cause this is the third time it's happened and I've complained every single time and they still keep doing it

Pretty good variety of groceries, unless you're looking for vegan or vegetarian options. Not a whole lot of plant based milks either. Lunch meat is almost never cut how you ask. Lots of stuff is often out of stock. The employees are incredibly helpful though and will do their best to help.

I was employed here and I hurt my back the store manager told me to Stand up against the wall that I would be fine. A year later after having to have back surgery and unable to work they terminated me because I had been out for a year. Promised to pay me my vacation time and sick time then when I called asking why I hadn’t received it I was told I was not going to. I would never shop here again or refer my worst enemy to work here terrible company to work for!!!

Just not there. No one at butcher shop. 6 people behind deli, only one to take orders. You have to wait and wait. However, Dickinson city store awesome. So I don't know how this review goes. I'm talking about Greenridge store. I do not recommend Greenridge. Going downhill. Well, I've defended them in past. Woo is me.

I have had no success shopping here personally or through instacart. I ordered pregnancy tests, was told they are not carried in stock, called corporate, and was told it was the stores individual choice. The store told me it was a corporate choice. I have spent thousands of dollars at this giant, only to go in with my husband, and be followed through the whole entire store all the way up to the exit by two women who were looking at me like they were CONVINCED we were shoplifting, smirking and looking at us like we were trash, even though we spent a couple hundred dollars worth of groceries. If you are uncomfortable with yourself self check out process, do not discriminate against someone with tattoos and dreadlocks by standing behind them breathing onto them over their shoulder, while attempting to scan an item that just would not scan. Any employee I have spoken to at customer service has been either 150% unhelpful or extremely rude. I will no longer set foot in this building I refuse to give them my business at this point. I don’t spend money in your business to be disrespected by you

Convenient location, great variety, good deals weekly, but they need to get more people for the bakery. There used to be a girl who made the cakes look awesome, and since she left, it's definitely not the same.

You have a lot of space for people to imbibe alcoholic drinks, but not one chair for people who'd like to have a coffee while they go over their shopping list or store flyer. Is your management aware that the store will be liable if the imbibers get into an accident on their way home? better give that a thought or two.

I like this store! I do the majority of my shopping there. The manager at the store in Green Ridge really takes his job serious. He's a very good guy and has a good group of workers there with his expectation. Good job Giant:-)

I love shopping there for certain things but not meat usually the workers are friendly and cuteous management is great but not always are they in stock with things. The dairy Isle is usually clutter stocking shelves and hard to get to what you need otherwise it is clean and things are normal

Great store, great selection!! The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because of the self checkout... SC is supposed to make life a little faster and easier, however every time we scanned an item, it did not recognize the product in the bagging area... it kept coming up with a not placed item In bagging area error. Every time this happened, we had to get the lady to reset machine... it took twice as long then it would have if we just went to a regularly staffed check out....

Probably my favorite place to grocery shop. Good selection, never too busy. Only thing that can be improved on is their self checkout system! It's terrible in comparison to every where else.

I was amazed a store associate offered to help me! He went and retrieved a cart for me. When I went in for just one item and ended up with more than I planned. That was great service, I hadn't asked for he just offered.

Nice clean, some prices are higher than other stores. Had to wait in line then cashier bag items in two bags but only pushed one towards me so i pay for something i didnt get. Didnt have time to go back to get it.

I like a grocery store that has register clerks, this place is fast moving away from that. Prices are average. I shop there for the gas points.

We were told on the phone they had mulling spices. I asked if they can hold it for me and the women said no. We drove an hour to pick it up. When I got there it took me 40 minutes to try to find it with little help from employees. The did not have it.

Pretty reliable overall, as this is my local store. I like that you can purchase alcohol at this location. Produce is usually fresh but sometimes the fruit is a bit old looking.

Self checkout was SMOOTH thanks to a dedicated staff member. Prices are reasonable, FRESH selection of meat, and produce. Thanks for the positive shopping experience. Thanks checkout GUY. WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE

Giant has been one of my favorite grocery stores of all time. they have a decent variety. always lots of coupons and sales, especially when you use the app. they offer a different meal deal each week; if you buy the meat/main dish, you get all the sides or other ingredients for free. the strawberries are probably the most disappointing part of the store lol. the store also offers drive up service. if you place an order online, they bring it right out to your car. overall, I recommend this place for small or large grocery trips. I do want to mention a woman that's worked there for a long time, her name is Christine. she is AMAZING. seriously... give her a raise. she is ALWAYS pleasant. so sweet to my kids and I. I truly look forward to going in there to see her when I shop. I can't praise her enough. most other employees are great as well!
