Beautiful walk. And free! A MUST while visiting Girona. It was a fun surprise when I learned Game of Thrones was filmed here too. I assumed it was all filmed in Croatia. Great town. Plenty of gelato, shops and dining. Worth a visit when leaving Dali in FIGUERES on the way back to Barcelona.

Very beautiful scenery. The walls are a historical site in Girona, and I recommend their visit. You can see the entire city from up there, it's marvelous. Physically disadvantaged people probably couldn't walk there. There are multiple towers around, that let you go even higher.

A must to visit if you come to Girona. The views from the wall itself and the multiple towers is great, you can see the whole city and even the mountains further behind the city. Beware it can get quite hot in summer. It can be accessed from either side via staircases.

Las Muralles de Girona is a huge, beautiful place - definitely one of the highlights of the city. The inner gardens are very pleasant, specially to rest a bit during a hot summer day. I really recommend taking the whole waking route to get the best impression of the place.

A long wall connected to Girona Cathedral. It was a place where their efforts to protect the castle by shooting arrows could be seen. Once you set foot, it's too far to turn back. You arrive on the other side. However, it is worth it because the view is so beautiful. I recommend you go up there.

Along with the Cathedral, a must-visit in Girona! The views of the whole city and the mountains it's surrounded by are incredible. Also, it's free. The only minus is the smell, especially near the towers - it stinks of urine / feces there.

I went there on a very sunny day. Walking on the wall is amazing and it is one of the best things I did in Girona, it takes long path to go around and you will enjoy the scene of the city and views on different parts of it.

Great hike around the city edge. With the overview of gardens, cathedral and city. Its almost like walking back in historic times. Beautiful to watch the sunset into the mountains.

Great walk along a medieval wall overlooking the town. The sun can be pretty hot.

Excellent city wall walk with stunning views of the city and distant mountains. Perfect start to a visit before the heat of the day sets in.

Stunning views!! Walking through the streets is spectacular. Great city. No wonder they filmed it for Game of thrones

Not accessible (expected), a beautiful free hidden gem, would fully recommend a visit, the views are spectacular.

Stunning landscapes worth a visit! Path a bit hard to find on Google maps. Would highly recommend to ask people around on how to get up there!!

Great view of the city and surrounding countryside. It is safe and restored, but they could do a better job keeping up the towers, some of them smell like toilets. The stairs up to the wall are far apart and not always obvious, so make sure you know which set you are aiming for before you just head to the wall.

Amazing view of the city, not too crowded, sort of underrated spot. The nature is great and the entrance is free.

Probably the most interesting place to visit in Girona. We enjoyed great views from the walls.

Interesting wall around the ancient city of Girona. You can climb some parts of the ramparts. There are many churches and cathedrals and a historic Jewish ghetto that was eradicated after the inquisition.

Really enjoyed the walk along the walls, made for a great morning out, lots of stairs and inclines so a good level of mobility is useful, plenty of places to get on and off the wall and if you keep following it round the cathedral you can an amazing little quiet spot! Definitely worth checking out!

Such a great place to see Girona from above! It is a lot of uphill from the town center, but very worth it! The stair cases are very narrow, so do be careful when going up.

Beautiful views, lots of winding staircases, a surprise garden among the stone walls. Just beautiful.

Highlight of my trip to Spain. Recommend going at sunset, with the sound of bells tolling in the background. Beautiful!

The city walls of Girona are very impressive. A large part of them is still standing, with segments from various time periods, including Roman and Carolingian, as well as later medieval walls. They also provide great views of the city from different spots.

For sure one of the highlights of the Girona. Amazing views and not too crowdy (except the northern part close to the Cathedral). There are also many towers which you can climb on for better views.

You cannot say you've been to Girona if you don't go for a walk along the Wall. Easy to fit it in a tour either before or after viewing the Cathedral. Has many viewpoints along the way so it doesn't feel too crowded.

Take a hike up from the Jewish Quarter and explore the Wall, along with the towers and the park-like areas on one end of the wall.

If you're in Girona, you really have to visit the Muralles de Girona. The historic walls are amazing. It is fascinating to imagine the events and people that walked these walls in the past. The views of the city are also worth the walk.

Massive old walls that's a must-visit. You can walk on the ground alongside the wall to appreciate its size, then climb the stairs up the wall on either side then walk atop the wall from one end to the other, taking in the views of Girona as you go by. You'll most likely pass by others along the wall which isn't a problem, and there's some areas including towers you can stop by along the way.
