A perfect weekend getaway from Barcelona! I went to celebrate my friends 30th birthday and I am very grateful to the staff. Ishmael and Gerard at the concierge were very helpful and made sure we had a special weekend! Such a beautiful hotel and great location, will absolutely be back!

Perfect location. Good buffet choices. Rooms clean and spacious. Plumbing slightly problematic in certain rooms...some minor tap leakage. Restaurant staff very helpful.

Recently stayed at the hotel which is in a fantastic location and central for everything, rooms were clean and well maintained, staff were friendly and helpful, food was great with plenty of choice and would definitely recommend a stay at the marsol.

Loved it but not aloud drinks at the pool spoiled it for us. Otherwise staff amazing, location amazing, room lovely.

Location is excellent πŸ‘Œ, ⛱️ beach front, lots of restaurants and shops around. Room size is small, but acceptable. Beds aren't comfortable πŸ˜• at all,as well as pillows. No trash can in the room, only small one in the bathroom. Safety box πŸ“¦ is available. Receptionist aren't friendly, no welcome smile. As regards the Massage πŸ’†β€β™€οΈ in the spa,I choosed the therapeutic Massage, but it has nothing to do with the name, the therapist came late 10 minutes and no one apologies for that. The Massage is beyond relaxing, she didn't touch my hands and feets(palms and soles). The breakfast buffet is ordinary and good. The resturant is very nice atmosphere with good service and food.

We loved our time at Hotel Marsol! The rooms are lovely, staff are helpful and the location is perfect - just across from the beach and bars. We had a fabulous time - thoroughly recommend.

Located opposite the beach/ sea surrounded by nice restaurants. Overpriced. Staff wasn’t friendly and courteous. Poor communication and no response to requests. Wont recommend to stay.

Excellent 4star hotel. Group of 6 friends. Spent 5 nights, breakfast was lovely so many choices. Clean, aesthetically pleasing. Rooms were cleaned to a high standard daily. Right next to the beach restaurants shops and nightlife. Definitely recommend.

Very nice modern and generally clean. Breakfast good. Couple of things that let it down, firstly dog hair on reception furniture and our room smelled. We were there 5 days, cleaners must have smelled it but nothing done.

It was a very nice experience. Very good service and food, but a small remark is about honoring the sheets, since during our 7-day stay, it was not possible to honor the sheets on any day

At check-in, we got absolutely no information except that we also have included the access to the pool and 'that thing jacuzzi next to the pool'. I politely asked if she needed both our passports she said yes, and then she didn't look at either of our passports. She just said we've done the check-in online. Nothing like sorry or thank you for the passports, not even a glance at us. When asked about where the breakfast is served, the receptionist 'Miana' told us we have all the info in the elevator (I truly felt like I was disturbing her from her sleep or something). The room we stayed in was not clean as you expected to be in a 4-star hotel. The foot towel was not changed even if it was dirty (sand dirt), just folded and put back in its place. No water refill in the minibar, and when asked at the reception, they requested the room number (we actually had the sea view, balcony type of room which is the most pricey) and said that only at check-in should have had water. Nobody smiles or says good morning at breakfast. Nobody welcomes you or checks the room number. Haven't eaten at the restaurant but had sangria (Cava) which it was delicious and the staff was friendly enough considering all the other staff is the hotel.

Excellent service from everyone! The food is great, and the paella was delicious 10/10. We love it.

Breakfast was the highlight sitting over looking the beach. Lovely. Parking was down the street at a public carpark but satisfactory. We both enjoyed a massage at the spa which was a great way to start our day. The hotel was being renovated when we stayed but it was not an inconvenience to us. Lovely and helpful staff at the front desk.

Great location but no parking is provided by the hotel, and aside from the public parking which is very busy and not at all cheap there are no other options. Great breakfast the food was amazing, the pool and jacuzi are perfect combined with an incredible sunset view, and I mean incredible ! Unfortunately 3 stars on the room since the door handle to the bathroom was broken and couldnt close completely, also no slippers are provided, but they are mandatory if you go visiting the pool. Its really a shame because the bed was one of the most comfortable I had experience with, room great overall, and would have been a clean 5/5 if not for the broken door handle and slippers rule.

It's a wonderful place, with a fabulous location, on the seashore. Actually have the feeling that the door from the room opens directly onto the beach! The staff is ok and the breakfast perfect, what you need to start a day! We will definitely come back !

Lovely hotel. Great staff throughout. Everyone was very sensitive to the reason for our whole family to be there. We were treated with so much care and consideration. Thank you all so very much.

Rooms are really average, but I don't complain because their restaurant is really good. Heated swimming pool and Jacuzzi with splendid views. Great location

This is a lovely hotel in a great location. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the hotel was clean and well maintained. Our room was a good size and the bed was enormous and very comfortable. Could do without the huge sofa facing the bathroom and the wardrobes are hopeless for hanging anything longer than a jacket! Also would much prefer drawers to open shelves. The bathroom was a good size and the shower was brilliant! Thank you to the cleaners who looked after us. There was a good choice of food in the restaurant and it was tasty, apart from the chips which were always cold! Staff were helpful, especially Valerie who helped us out with lots of handy tips for the area and who made us feel very welcome, remembering our names and our wine order every day! Had a lovely stay and will be back, thank you.

Hotel is ok. But don't stay in this town. Of all the places we stayed in Spain this one was a tourist trap, unfriendly, and the castle is even fake. Go to girona or roses for a better experience. Also, everything seems to be closed until 7 or they don't serve food. We walked for an hour to find dinner. Not for us.

Really nice hotel. Good rooms, always very clean. Nice food in the restaurant. They have a really nice Pool on top of the building, behind glass, really great in winter.

Not the best hotel, especially if you're black. All people do is stare you down or they act as if you're going to rob them. I booked a double room and all I got was two single beds put together..as well as paying €185 for an extra person, instead of getting an extra key and an actual double bed. The hotel food looks good, but it is not worth it, just bland and salty. No seasoning, unless you want to catch high blood pressure. The cocktail was bland, but looks cute. We found a better place for lesser to eat. Swimming pool was jam packed full of chlorine, it burned your eyes and the jacuzzi was to cold to be hot enough. The cleaners were friendly and the curly hair receptionist lady was friendly, we never got her name. The sunset view, was nice from the pool

Great location opposite the beach at Lloret de Mar. Rooms are modern and very clean, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is excellent with a wide variety of items to suit all tastes. Would definitely recommend. Update May 2023, we have just enjoyed a second visit to this excellent hotel. The sea view room with balcony was stunning. As before, very helpful staff and superb breakfasts. I think it would be difficult to beat the Hotel Marsol if staying in Lloret de Mar.

Very nice hotel situated just in front of the sea. We had a seaview room with a small balcony .The room was clean as the bathroom. There was a buffebreakfast which had everything you want. The service at the receptiondesk was fast and the staff were helpfull. If yo come by car you can park along the promenade and the hotel can also help you with a garage nearby to the cost of Euro 14.

Lovely clean hotel. Great position. Good food. Surrounding location has plenty to offer. Definitely would use again.

the hotel was very modern and had very nice interiors everywhere very nice. the staff was nice as well and the buffet was outstanding. the buffet was incredibly large and everything you could think of, all fresh from a omelette bar to fresh meats. i’d give everything a 10/10 except for the wifi. there isn’t wifi inside the rooms and u have to go down to lounge which is a pisstake and made me angry most of the trip since i obviously need it. it would automatically disconnect as soon as u get into the elevator. fix your wifi!!

This is a hotel with heart. We didn't get to enjoy it as much as we would have liked because we had passport problems. Thanks to Aron and Raluca on reception our problem was their problem. We're from Australia and knew nothing of local contacts and logistics, but they sorted everything for us to navigate the systems and the transports. We were entirely in their hands and it all worked out. Next time we're coming back for a holiday! Beach front location and dining and rooftop pool. What's not to like?

Great location and views over the sea from the front rooms and restaurant. Huge choice of bars and restaurants on the doorstep. Rooms well fitted out. Space for sun beds around the rooftop pool a bit cramped. Parking very restricted.

Lovely hotel, located on the beach, clean & tidy, very friendly and helpful reception staff. House keeping daily who were always smiling! Fabulous breakfast buffet, spoilt for choice, although the freshly made pancake's & fresh strawberries were definitely my favourite πŸ₯°. Room clean, tidy, spacious, loved having a TV so we could play music 🫢 Loved the top floor spa, pool and jacuzzi. Views were outstanding. All in all a lovely first visit to hotel marsol & definitely won't be my last πŸ’—

Went for a special birthday meal, but was dissatisfied with my meal of chicken and seafood. It was tasteless and seemed to have been boiled. My partner had a good steak though. They also added a €28 paella on our bill which we never had! It was very suspicious. Not impressed at all!!

  • 5/5 Sonia D. 1 year ago on Google
Fresh clean and professionally run. Very good breakfast buffet. Our room overlooked the sea and was bright and airy and kept impeccably clean by Maria Esther who we feel deserves a mention. Good AC. Superb triple glazing which kept all the street noise out. We used the pool which was a bonus. Staff very welcoming and friendly. We had a lovely 17 nights with you and would not hesitate to recommend. We hope to return. Thank you very much for looking after us. Gracias
