Beach

πŸ‘ Traveled here on the local bus from Tossa Dr Mar. Having got off at the main bus station it was not far to walk to the beach and along the cliff top path to climb up the rocky headline or further if you wish to. Nice sandy edge inlet swimming shallows. Well worth a day trip and worth the bus price.... People often mention beach, water, sand, clear, good, nice, plenty, nearby,

Traveled here on the local bus from Tossa Dr Mar. Having got off at the main bus station it was not far to walk to the beach and along the cliff top path to climb up the rocky headline or further if you wish to. Nice sandy edge inlet swimming shallows. Well worth a day trip and worth the bus price. Check before returning as I thought I bought a return ticket but was informed otherwise at the ticket office bus station when I enquired about this. Nice scenic stroll along the promenade beach front and returned back to the bus station down the back streets.

Very good. Water is cold initially, but you get used to it fast! Clear and beautiful water. Good beach.

Very nice beach (not fine soft sand) and beautiful water. On south side there is a stone coastal pathway that leads to an overlook and castle ruins.

Amazing beach loved every minute I spent there, walks to either side and plenty of bars shops and places to eat along it. On the beach there are plenty of activities you can book to do also. Beautiful scenic place loved it.

Decent beech, if not a little busy. I could not walk on the sand barefoot (VERY, very small pebbles), the beech has surprisingly large waves and the water gets deep quickly. There is a steep drop-off from beech to sea which, whilst good for landing small pleasure boats, is not good for small children. I (adult) was almost knocked off my feet by waves whilst walking along the shoreline. Up towards Castel d'en Plaja (rocky area), plus (generally) in the evenings, the drop-off/wave size was not as bad.

Guardia civil ship!!! Why we have this government ship coming to close water to the beach and polluting the water with its huge old diesel engines, where all tourists are swimming. This ship goes to every popular beach at costa brava and it is super annoying. Tourists come here in Spain because of clear water. There are already plenty of tourist ships stopping by on all popular beaches that should be stopped or limited to minimum! Please do something and stop the this government Guardia civil ship and other big ships coming close water to the beach, to stop the pollution. Meanwhile I will be looking for another country to do my vacation

One of the best & neat sandy ⛱️ in Costa brava,Spain. Life guard on duty all day during the season.Regularely cleaned by the council every evening,it's spotless every morning, thanks to hardworking council employees. Free toilet and shower facilities available.Very easy to access from the main road, Lloret town and nearby restaurants. Plenty of water sports to hire at the beach including water scooters and Parasailing. Dofi jet boat offers regular sight seeing trips from the beach to nearby villages like Tossa De Mar,Calella,Malgrat de Mar, Blane's etc.Its interesting to watch Dofi jet boats collect and drop off passengers right from the beach.

There are some other beaches nearby which are better than this, so i wouldn't rate it full. It is not as calm and quiet as other beaches. It is 8-10 minute walk from the Lloret de mar bus station. Couple of toilets are available for free on the beach itself.

It's a very nice beach with lots of entertainment, bars and restaurants. Very clean water, but watch your kids when it is wavy. It's deep in a couple of metres.

Perfect for party people to recover from a hangover or meeting new people. The view is nice and the water is perfectly clear. But don't expect white sand, only small stones.

We didn't like it. The beach was very crowded (mid August), the waves and sea condition was a bad fit for children, and the stoney sand was uncomfortable. We were able to find a more shallow and relaxed place at the northern part.

Nice, large very busy beach. May be good for nightlife seekers. Too busy if you are looking for peace and quiet.

Great beach with clear water and granular sand. Lots of good restaurants around. There is a nice castle at one end and a very interesting church nearby. I also recommend the Museo del mar, which provides a very interesting history of the town.

Large beach, only 3 caffes, pets are not allowed. There are sunbeds but many people bring their own. Set is 24€. Very crowded beach both day amd night. Few showers and toilets.

Beautiful, clean beach. But be careful, it is not sandy so you need water slippers. It is mostly a place for youngsters.

The police looks for unreasonable ways to parking fine you. We had 1 person in the car waiting for the other person to check-in beside the hotel and still got the parking fine. Even the locals are complaining.

Came here for the day, stayed in one little area! I really like this beach the sea is quite clear, the sand is quite rough and hard to walk on but it’s ok, there’s plenty to do, drinks and food nearby an aqua course, pedal boats, toilets and showering facilities nearby. the sun beds are €8 each and extra for umbrellas and has lovely views of the area. It’s relatively busy but not overly crowded. I would come back to this beach i’ve had a great day!

Lovely beach. Fantastic swimming. So calm and clear. Myself and the kids had snorkeling masks and saw 100s of fish. Rented a pedalo with a slide and had a great time. There was a day where the jellyfish were so abundant we couldn't really swim. The fried egg jellyfish. The other days it was fine. The sea was so clear that we could see the bottom even at 20 - 30 m. Lots of options for food.

Very nice beach with lot of activities. Jet ski, ferry boat, flying fish, banana boat, etc. Umbrellas and beach seats are hired at very good prices. Lot of restaurants and bars around the beach. A recommended place.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Pristine little bay for swimming/snorkelling. The big rock in front is suitable for jumping on its right hand side (depth is 5m+ there, no rocks on the bottom).
