Very disappointing experience with Sara Al-Rabee. We liked a property with Hamptons and put an offer in on it. Sara was quite rude about the offer we put on saying it was far too low without taking into consideration the housing market in 2023. The offer got rejected and we ended up having back and forth with the seller via Sara to see if we could find a middle ground. Sara was never supportive of our position. Anyway the worst part came later. The property had been on the market for a few months prior to our first offer (with no other offers made) and even in the two month back and forth we had, still no other offers were made. We kept asking Sara why no offers had been put on it because on the face of it it was a very nice property and she kept feeding us stories about how it was because of the small garden or smaller kitchen. We finally got very close to agreeing on an offer with the seller and at the last minute Sara said “oh just one more thing to let you know before we agree the offer.. the property has had underpinning due to subsidence. Shouldn’t be an issue though so I’ll pass your offer on”. Obviously that is a massive issue so we withdrew our offer. Sara also said she would send us documents about the underpinning but never did. In our opinion Sara was dishonest and should have informed us of the issue right from the start and saved us 2 months of wasted time in our property search.

Thank you so much to the wonderful Denise at Hamptons Caterham who is absolutely BRILLIANT at her job. Buying a house is always stressful but I can honestly say Denise was exceptional and at the end of the line for me every single day to make a very difficult time much more bearable. I will be forever grateful to her for getting my sale and purchase over the line and for going over and above her job role for me personally. Thank you also to Claire who was my first point of contact with Hamptons and is equally brilliant and personable . A first class team who I hope to stay in touch with in the future. We recently sold our house and was looking to rent after 20 years of not being in the rental market. I was a bit lost and apprehensive about renting but the feeling was soon overcome when I met Charlie from Hamptons. He was friendly, open and patient and nothing was ever too much trouble. We're in a very competitive rental market and we're grateful for Charlie helping us to secure a perfect house! He assured us that the landlord was very nice and he was so right. We're very blessed.

I would like to thank so much the lovely Christina P. who was really amazing working with us to make our move as smooth as possible. She was always communicating with both me and my partner , keeping us informed every step of the way . She had time to show every home she had available and she was really amazing at giving her true opinion and not what i wanted to hear or for any other agenda which helped make a great decision . Christina from Hampton is brilliant. She helped me to rent exactly the flat I wanted. All the negotiations were done very quickly. She answered all my questions very quickly. I am very satisfied with the co-operation.

Hamptons has been our estate agents for nearly 10 years and I have to say they have very good property managers. My current property manager Vygaile played an exceptional role in assisting us in smoothly vacating the property and have always made sure to understand our concerns and takes the time to listen to us.
