Saw that this place got great reviews on a travel group I’m in so we stopped in yesterday when we were in Bucyrus. I was so disappointed. First we walked in and we weren’t sure if we were supposed to order at the counter, wait to be seated or seat ourselves. Waited a couple minutes then asked a lady who was standing along the wall. She said she didn’t know as she had never been there and was getting food to go. Saw a menu so stood looking at it for a couple minutes. Still not greeted or sure what to do so we seated ourselves. Seats on the booth were a bit dirty and very uncomfortable. Sat looking at a menu and a lady came and delivered food in a bag to another table. Never greeted us and walked away. My sister went back to the counter and ordered. Never asked her name. She came back and sat down. About 10-15 minutes a lady came and plopped a paper bag on our table. Again never said a word except maybe “here you go.” She was gone so fast. My sister got a gyro. She said it was OK but preferred the gyros from a place local to us. I got the small Greek nachos. It was packed in a tiny to go styrofoam container. I could not even see the chips or even get to them unless I wanted to dump everything out but I wasn’t given a plate to do so. So I had to eat pretty much all the toppings before I could get to the chips. The feta and tzatziki sauce was good. There were only 3 kalamata olives and the tomatoes were huge slices which would be better if they were diced. I ended up not eating them as I was just given a plastic fork and no knife to cut the tomatoes. The meat tasted good but overall I was so disappointed. If they are going to serve everything as a to go order, then the nachos should be packaged in a larger container so that it is easier to eat the way nachos should be and not eaten with a fork. Maybe if they ever go back to pre-Covid ways and serve food on plates, I may consider giving them another try.

The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I walked in and ordered. They weren't too busy, and the wait time was about 15 minutes.

This place is a little bit quirky, with an odd layout; and you order your food at the counter, and they serve you in styrofoam clamshells with plastic forks…. …But, the food is of exceptionally good quality, with authentic seasonings, ample portions, and excellent prices. Great spot for Bucyrus.

The food was OUT OF THIS WORLD! Every delicious comfort food cooked to perfection with a cozy old family atmosphere.. makes me sad we can only partake once or twice a year!

This place makes THE BEST gyros! Every time we pass through Bucyrus we are tempted to stop in (and most of the time, we do!). They are so good that we pick them up to take to my parents who love them as much as we do (they live an hour away, mind you!) The people are always nice and always make sure their food is top notch quality. Highly recommend!

This is an awesome small town place to go! I have lived in the area for a couple years now and have always seen it but never been! I highly recommend it. The food and service is outstanding. The gyros are wonderful and the kalamata dip is delicious! I honestly don't think you could order anything bad here!

This restaurant had been well recommended and after about 3 weeks of trying to find a reason to be in Bucyrus for dinner we were finally able to try it. Unfortunately the service was terrible and the food was worse... Fries were cold but ok. The fries were the best thing we got. Do not recommend. Will not return.

Very friendly and great food! Not super fast but it’s because everything is made to order. Didn’t expect such great Greek food!

Wow the food here is amazing-hands down!! The pita sampler was incredible with the bread warm and soft and the three dips each just grand-hummus, tzatziki and feta cheese spread. There was more food than we could eat, very generous with the fries which were hot and crispy, the meats were done just right and very juicy even the tomatoes and onions were fabulous!! Stop in, give your order and pay and either wait for take out or find a seat in the dining area and they will bring it to you. It was really busy but not a long wait. Our only complaint was the lady at the cash register was in dire need of some pleasantry skills-I think she was just tired but we felt like we were in the way, no smile and when I went back up to the counter for ketchup and salt she got it for me but I wasn’t going back up for anything else. We have wanted to stop by here when in Bucyrus but hadn’t done it yet-we are now looking for a way to get back there for dinner more often-what a great place!!

I am a small business supporter. I get food here a couple times a week. Healthy food. It is absolutely wonderful. The Greek salad is so good that no dressing is even needed. Also the best fries in town .

Best Gyro I've had in years! Get it with extra meat. It's worth it even though you'd need a bigger pita at that point! The tziki sauce might have been made here, it was different and real good.

The food here is exactly what one would hope for in a local Greek place and deserves 5/5 stars. Gyros were very good, fries were a bit soggy due to excess grease, and the tzatziki sauce was exceptional. We did take out. The service was rated at 2/5 due to a younger woman running register and taking orders that treated anyone that came in as an inconvenience. She did not greet anyone, rolled her eyes twice, and never once smiled or said more than one word responses. Someone in our order had a dairy allergy (severe) so I tried to inquire if they could accommodate that and if there were any other ingredients with dairy besides the sauce. The woman did not respond and just stared at me. Finally, I told her to just leave out the sauce in that part of the order and she said okay and waked away. I would likely never sit down to eat here due to poor service but if you do takeout it’s worth the food.

Going back after 6 years.. Original Gyro combo.. Good, Same taste as before.. I knew the dad when he ran it.. A little expensive for a luncheon combo..! Service could be more friendly..!! Son never even answered, inspite of me telling him, I knew the father when he ran the place..!

We usually really enjoy Athens, it a restaurant my dad has been taking me to for years and I’ve always enjoyed. But lately the service is so awful I don’t even want to place an order. The lady who answers the phone is absolutely beyond rude, sent my wife to pickup the order and she was rude to her as well. I ordered the Athens sampler and got legit 2 pieces of lamb to 4 pita bread. To the women who is so rude every time we call, no one is forcing you to work and I don’t think that customer service is for you.
