This is a great Holiday Inn. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Check in was a breeze. The rooms were very clean and spacious. They offer free WI-FI, the rooms have a coffee maker, mini refrigerator, and microwave. The linens and towels very clean, and the bathroom was very clean and well maintained. The burger joint that is attached to the hotel is very convenient as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I stay here often for work, and I have to say the staff here is always amazing and so friendly - Paula is an incredible asset to this place! One of the nicest hotel staff I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. She deserves a raise and a good vacation!

They treated my wife horrible at check in, telling her to lose her attitude and rhen lying by saying they were talking to a coworker. If someone has documentation for a service animal then it is supposed to be honored. Also, it's none of the clerks business what we are in town for. She literally asked "so what brings you here", like that should matter when traveling and trying to check into the hotel you have a reservation for. Plus it was Thanksgiving. I'm pretty sure a ton of people travel that day for...big surprise here...THANKSGIVING. So long Holiday Inn. You lost more customers. Comfort Inn across the street was fantastic and cheaper.

The woman at the front desk was one of the friendliest people I've ever met. The room was clean and had a mini fridge and microwave. The bathroom was very clean and the complimentary shampoo, cond and lotion smelled so nice. But the winner is the beds. Like sleeping in a cloud. The A/C worked great and the sheets were soft and cozy. It was fabulous.

My husband and I stayed for 2 weeks during the holidays. The housekeeping crew were friendly and did a fantastic job! The front desk staff were very nice. We enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be back on our next trip!

Stayed for a long stay and have to say that the service was great. Rooms were well maintained and clean. I can't speak for the gym or the pool but it seemed well maintained. Service workers were great and welcoming. Burger theory tastes good too!

I stayed in room 135 on 10/29/22. The room was very basic, which is fine. However the refrigerator made a loud noise the whole night I was not able to get any sleep.

Wonderful stay over Thanksgiving weekend! The breakfast was delicious and not overly priced. The wait staff in the restaurant was very quick and attentive. The room was very spacious, everything was clean and comfortable. Thank you!!

What a great team they have at the Holiday Inn Carol Stream. We hosted 250 people at our event and the team was prepared and made it almost seamless. Christian took awesome care of our guest for food and drinks? Gina worked hard on making sure we were prepared. Christine was an absolute joy to work with our sponsored event and Patti never sent me to voice-mail once and answered all my questions. We loved it and want to come back soon!!

My Family just stayed there and we have to say the staff are all super friendly! Clean room nice pool/hot tub. We will definitely be staying here when we visit family! The price per night is very reasonable! Thank holiday inn @150 s Gary st

Stayed here for a short weekend trip, and I was very happy with the experience! Everyone was friendly, and the room was clean. The hotel itself could use an update (older carpet and furniture), but for what we needed, we had a great stay. Burger Theory food was good too!

I really enjoyed my stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room I stayed in was spacious and comfortable. The hotel itself feels old, but comfortable. Only thing I didn't enjoy was the breakfasts, it wasn't that great. So maybe explore different options :)

I had the pleasure of being checked in by Jill. She is super friendly and helpful. Gave me a bunch of suggestions and was super accommodating. I also had dinner at the restaurant & bar and the service and food was excellent too. Very impressed with everyone working here, excellent choice. 5 stars… should be 6 stars ⭐️

Rented a conference room and had some out of town coworkers stay here. Everyone said the rooms were nice. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the conference room was just what we needed for 6 people.

Take away their FLAG First off as an ihg member for yrs now not have i ever experienced such poor service on both sides ihg and this hotel although it was the first time here it will be my last. Went to chk in yesterday the standard protocol...room keys ready at chk in then im told to pay $215.00 even though ihg had systematic issues i was informed by "Mike" the manager Of this location who took my ihg number and assured me he was able to put in my reservation under ihg account.... I explained who i talked to and when the desk clerk called mile showed up and he identified him self and ask what seams to be the issue i explained that i was the gentleman who he spoke with 14hours prior and that he continued to deny it was him i was speaking with on the phone but he would contact that employee at home to get to the bottom of it a few min later mile showed up with the ihg contact info apologizing but he could not assist Luckily i removed into my ihg app. Secured the room and checked in all was good until we get to room 407 nasty dirty room , but being exhausted from the days events i would deal with it for one night moments later knock on the room door , oh sir im sorry but your tv remote don't work please use this ( ok i think to myself that's strange ) if the remote didn't work why wait until after we get to our room to fix it 🙅 Torn screen on the window and now the wall sockets in the room are not staying on Call down for an extra blanket housekeeping shows up with a change of bed sheets goes to hand them to me as if i needed to change the sheets too... I replied i asked for a extra blanket with a rolling of her eyes and disgused tone ill be right back could you please also bring 2 pillows I asked if looks could kill it be dead..... Storms off with a few min later knock on the door hands me the blanket and two pillows i thanked her and she stormed off ... This morning 8am knock on the door in comes a housekeeper to clean the room Excuse me !!!!! On a scale of 1 to 10 , 10 being best Desk clerk 2 Mike 0 House keeping 2 Overall cleanliness 1 I've stayed in holiday inn for the past 15yrs from PA. To Nebraska this hotel has me considering never to return to any holiday The pool was disgusting so foggy you could not see the bottom however the web page said the pool was down it was not being monitored as guests where in the pool and hot tub ... Hotel very dated...the are over priced scamming customers on price ... on the web page they state one price much lower then whay they charge. They did not welcome me as an ihg member they never thanked me for being a customer let alone an ihg member nobody called up after chk in as i understand is the standard requirement STAY AWAY THIS PLACE SHOULD BE CONDEMNED IN MY OPION WHAT A DISGRACE TO THE NAME

Very nice hotel and try to stay here when I can! The restaurants are very good and the staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is an elaborate buffet and features just about anything you'd want to eat.

Had a great stay here! The rooms were very clean, spacious and nice. Brunch was delicious. Had many options since I have diet restrictions.

My flight was canceled so United airlines gave me a voucher to stay there. When I got there the lady was overwhelmed at the front desk asked if I had a reservation and told her that the airline had sent me with this voucher. She told me they should’ve checked because the hotel was full and nothing was available. After waiting more than an hour she said she could help me because they have extra rooms which she charged to my American Express. Later much later when I got into the room I felt like I had been taken and decided to check out immediately. She then told me it was my fault because I did have a reservation I didn’t tell her. She said telling her that the airline had sent me didn’t explain anything. Then she didn’t know how to reverse my American Express charge and when she found my reservation she kept on saying she would take care of it meaning make me pay for something the airline was already doing. The lady even asked me to buy her a couple cheeseburgers which I did while she was trying to help out. Worse experience I’ve ever had at any hotel abroad or at home in the states. I will check next week to be sure they refund my American Express card if the airport sends you there make sure they take the voucher and don’t put up with any attitude, The lady was absolutely awful. Now I am back at the airport sitting on a bench but it’s better than paying that hotel I feel.

Absolutely horrible service, horrible rooms needs major updates, I couldn't connect my gaming device with wifi I called the front desk they didn't want to help, the hallways were fill with trash, the pool was over crowded, there was no place to sit down, the pool was also not heated, just a overall bad experience I will never go back to this hotel. I knew I should've stayed at a courtyard.

Good hotel with friendly staff. Might be an older facility but it is clean and the rooms are spacious. Has a burger joint and a cook to order breakfast.

Strike 1 - The man at the front desk was not very accommodating. We were traveling with our family of 6. We asked for more towels when we checked in and were told that housekeeping was gone for the day. Not true because we discovered she was still there. Security ended up helping us get towels and the proper bedding for the couch bed. Strike 2 - NO Continental breakfast. We have been traveling for 3 days from San Antonio. Texarkana has a breakfast, free. Paducah, KY again has a continental breakfast. Chicago has...Burger Theory. What the....Why cant they all be consistent!! This is the reason we chose to stay at Holiday Inn's on our entire 3 week vacation. Now reconsidering. Strike 3 - No Shampoo, Conditioner, and Body Gel in the shower like the previous 2 hotels we stayed in. Just the tiny bottles on the sink. We pay more to stay in the better hotels for better accommodations and service. This hotel needs to discount their price for not having those amenities. On the Plus side - We did have a great time in the pool which was open until 11pm and the rooms were clean. FYI - The ceiling are very low. Tall people (above about 6' 3") stay elsewhere.

What a great experience. Was there for an event a couple weeks ago and never have I been so welcomed by staff. They were attentive from the moment I walked in the door helping me to check in and bringing my bags to my room. Whenever I saw one of them in the hallway they were asking if there was anything they could help me with. Also the rooms were spacious and clean and modern. Housekeeping was always around in the halls for last minute towels and such. I would stay here again and plan on it for my next staycation.
