Good Review for Front Desk Service and Breakfast. I was able to check in early as I was already in the area and allowed to check out a bit late. The check-in process was smooth and quick. Front desk agent explained the entrance and directed me to parking that was close to the elevator for ease of access. Hotel rooms could use some renovation. Carpet in hallway had big, noticeable stains. Room cleaning can be more thorough. There is a very, very strong, musty & moldy smell in the rooms. Hope this is resolved! Hot breakfast alternated to included different dishes each morning and started early enough. The sausage was the best.

Staff are friendly and welcoming. Not in the best professional attire and not always present. This hotel looks more like a motel than an actual hotel. We were on the 3rd floor and the carpeting on the 3rd floor looked like it was never vacuumed! The room itself had a certain smell that was not to my liking. The shower looked like it was from the 9th century! There was ample space for parking, the bed was comfortable and there was breakfast (not nutritious but still something).

JUST NO! Checked in around 4:45pm, the rep seem to have gotten upset just because I asked if they offered military discount. He said they don't change any third party offers. I understand, but we booked straight through the website. He didn't even give a speech about any of the amenities of the hotel and he tossed the room keys on the counter saying to have a good evening. The pics on the website are deceiving because nothing looked like the pics. The lobby, although beautifully remodeled, was the only thing that was. For some reason the room was full of moisture even though the air was on. The last straw was when my girlfriend saw a roach crawling across the bathroom floor the next morning. Time to checkout!

Really enjoyed our stay here. Hotel was very nice. Appears to have gone through a recent renovation oh, more of a simple moderately luxurious Hotel. Just what you want after a hard drive. I am a d a and their rooms were extremely accommodating. Nice indoor pool. Call Hot breakfast was delicious and we really enjoyed it along with the person taking care of that area great personality.

BAD Air quality inside the hotel!! Too much strong cleanser they use makes me headache and eyes hurting. Hallways don't have A/C and room windows can not opened. Other than running the room AC fan all nightlong, there's no way to make a room air circulation and it didn't get any better airs And every single surface of the room has dirty rag residues. Bathroom floor tiles were sticky sticky. I just wanted to get out from the hotel ASAP. Worst hotel experience in my life.

Close to Western Sizzler. Bathroom was modern and room was clean. Pool had a dead spider in it and a live frog swimming around. Water was a little cold and very cloudy. My daughter leaned up against railing inside the elevator and got someone's chewed gum stuck to her. Breakfast menu was posted but completely different food options were offered. Menu said sausage, gravy and biscuits, etc...instead there was chicken and potatoes. Kind of disappointed after having breakfast at BW in Louisville, Ky. Big difference. TV was small. Furniture in room was nice. Probably would not choose to stay here again at the price we paid. On the positive side there were no bugs in the room and the lobby was nice. Seats in breakfast area were comfy.

This hotel is probably more like a two star hotel. The staff was friendly, but the facilities could use some work. The workout room had damaged equipment, the pool area/hallway had building damage, the second floor had carpet stains EVERYWHERE, and the rooms had several issues as well. I'm not too sure of the area, as I constantly had people eyeing my rental car, but no apparent break ins, so that's good. There is an issue with the side door as it sometimes stays open, which seems like a security issue.

The first room we went to was visibly dirty- jelly smeared on the TV remote, milk stain dripping from the nightstand, dirt on the couch, and dirt in the tub. It was musty smelling. I brought it to the worker at the front desk and he was wonderful. He was understanding and switched our rooms without question. Our new room was cleaner, but the musty smell woke us up throughout the night.. we also refused to walk barefoot in it. The continental breakfast was above average. It was extremely clean and well maintained. The attendant there was gracious. I wouldn't stay here again based on the poor night sleep.

Positive: nice location, quiet area, spacious room Negative: walls had damages, tv cabinet had damages, bathroom handle was broken and door hardly closed scrapping the floor. Traveling with baby and were put on 3rd floor. The most problematic was the bad smell of cleaning products throughout the floor and room. This is bad for asthma patients. Checking looks amazing but halls and rooms need more love and care. We cancelled our return on 11/10 as we were not pleased with our stay.

We were there for a military reunion. It was decided to stay in Pooler because it was much more affordable than Savannah. Rooms are quite old..need a refurbishment but otherwise good. Breakfast was very good and different from day to day. Staff was amazing..so helpful with any needs we had.

We arrived at this hotel late evening and was a given a key to a room. When we entered the room we turned on the light and someone was sleeping in the bed!! We were startled and ran out of the room. We alerted the front desk that they had given us a key to someone else’s room and the front desk shrugged it off and issued us another key. Upon entering the room there was a smell of mold and brown stains on the comforter. At 5am someone opened our hotel door but couldn’t get in any further because we had latched the top lock. We yelled someone was occupying the room and they seemed startled as well. Is this hotel giving out keys to occupied rooms???? Yes.

We had a really nice stay as a family, we got a kings suite and it was a great amount of space for us and our 4 year old. There was a k-cup coffee machine, pull out couch, plenty of space for luggage and everything was clean and comfortable. The pool was nice and was a great add on to our stay especially for our daughter to get her energy out before bed after the car ride we had before getting there. Breakfast was also nice and the staff was very understanding and kind with all of our questions. We saw people cleaning throughout the hotel during our stay to make sure it's well kept up with. Definitely would recommend and the placement is great if you're needing to get right back on the road in the morning but want a quiet place to rest the night before.

Enhanced cleaning....bwahahaha!!!! Roaches filled the refrigerator and came crawling out when I opened it. The freezer section had yellow ice in it. Front service clerk acted like he could care less. Not what I expect from an almost 4 stat rated hotel

Horrible! Do not stay here. My wife and I after road-tripping from TX arrive at the hotel and get a room with the thermostat not working, which happens we got switched, good. We went straight to sleep in the new room cause we were tired from our 14hour drive. When we wake up the next morning, we found somebody else’s underwear in our room!!! Was this room not cleaned? I go tell the front desk person upon my exit and she says the manager is not here but I can call back to talk to him. Well I have called back 8 times now and still can not catch Mr. Patel or have gotten a call back. To the point in my last call the front desk person knew me so well and just apologized for her boss being unprofessional. This was disgusting to have somebody’s underwear in my “clean” room and no response from the hotel. I thought cleanliness was a high priority after Covid?

Absolutely disgusting! Do not stay here. The first room we were given, the door was open and the smoke detector was beeping. We asked for a different room. It was dirty as well with multiple hairs throughout the bathroom. This morning after getting out of the shower there were 2 cockroaches in the bathroom! Highly upsetting we brought our two young children into this establishment

First impressions of the building was okay from the outside. Inside of the building was old looking, it smelled like mildew real bad. The room had ants 🐜 coming out of the wall. I called to the front desk and asked if they had ant spray I was told No, I was offered to moved to another room. The carpets in the hallway looked dirty. This was the worst hotel stay I've ever stayed in. On a good note the breakfast was on point. The lady that was there working the breakfast was new to the company and she did great. This hotel will be my last resort to come and stay.

Building has just gone through a renovation but still shows it’s age. Several items still need to be corrected. All of the rooms we rented smelled like a mix of mold and old cigarette smoke. The pool is in terrible need of repair. The entire pool floor is shedding paint. It gets all over your feet when you walk around. And the water is milky from paint shavings. Disgusting. Considering the age of the building I hope it’s not lead paint. Not worth the price we paid.

Two night stay. Saw in previous reviews that the hotel was under renovation. Called ahead to ensure renovations were complete- and they were. However, the renovations were very superficial. The photos provided are not specific to this exact hotel. the rooms are not as bright as the pictures make them appear. The rooms were clean as far as I could see. Found no evidence of bugs. The hallways and room smelled heavily of mold/mildew. Paint in the room was bubbled up from possible moisture in the walls? Our room AC had two temperatures- Arctic Igloo and off. Hot water and water pressure was good. The breakfast was OKAY. only available till 9:30 am. Lots of people came down at 9 am and they ran out of food and overwhelmed the lady working trying to serve and assist. Single Waffle maker was not functioning well and took 10 minutes for most people to make their helping. Lots of high processed, carb loaded junk food options. Eggs, Sausage, Biscuits and Homestyle potatoes (all questionably microwaved). Ran out of food and she quickly moved to refill but the potatoes and eggs were still ice cold. Other worker came over an announced that breakfast was over at 9:30 and turned out the lights. S&D coffee machine with regular and decaf 24/7 in the lobby was great. Some of the staff were friendly, some not so much. I can't say it was an altogether bad stay, but I will not repeat this stay.

This was a pretty bad experience. First, there was no hot water at all during our stay. We were informed of this at check-in and given the option to cancel for no charge, but at 10pm with kids in tow we couldn't really find another place (called a couple of places, no rooms available). It would have been helpful to get an email or phone call ahead of time to let us know of the problem. Overall the hotel was dingy and not well cleaned/maintained, e.g. a door frame was hanging loose in our room, and there was a very stale/smoky odor. The bathroom floor was missing tile grout. Hallway carpets were in poor repair and looked quite dirty. The 3rd floor ice machine was not working, and water was leaking across the floor from the 1st floor ice machine. The pool area is badly in need of some repair/renovation. Overall the whole place feels like an old Motel 6. Breakfast was a bit of a disappointment - the kids enjoy making waffles but there was no regular waffle mix, just strawberry flavor. There was no chocolate milk, and the staff were terse and not particularly friendly when politely asked about these issues. This hotel is damaging the "Best Western Plus" brand, as it makes me less likely to stay at a BWP in future.

We enjoyed the family suite room. It was clean and comfortable. We did not try the pool and the gym smelled like metal and wd40. Staff were great people. Building was a little older and getting updated at the entrance.

First time in a best Western plus . * Night stand had finger nails and weed in it and was held shut with a piece of cardboard. * Loud screaming and talking till 3am outside my room . * Chunks of paint missing in the bathroom. * Breakfast lady yelled at me over and over and the juice machine was broke. ( No beverages for breakfast) There was a clean bed and scalding hot water. Manger was nice but overall it was a huge disappointment and I did not feel safe there at all ... I will NEVER go there again.... I rather sleep in my car than set foot in that place again.

Pictures on google are very deceiving!!! Hotel was dirty in the lobby area and in the room. The customer service was terrible, who knows when it was last vacuumed, and the room had a odd smell. The bed was a king but had pillows that were too small (smaller than queen pillows). The fire alarm went off early in the morning and we called down to see if we needed to evacuate and the front desk person laughed saying it was just the kitchen. No apology, nothing. Would not recommend.

Beds were comfy but the experience needs a lot of new care as both detectors in the room needed batteries changed and the bathroom was noisy (toilet never stopped running, shower was obnoxious and the vanity wasn't properly installed). Breakfast was good! The staff is super nice but this Best Western needs a lot of TLC

Started calling hotels at 11pm Saturday night on our way back up north. We wanted to drive though but we’re exhausted. Everywhere was booked except a couple hotels & their prices were insane. Best western wasn’t horribly priced & the room was clean & big. The bed was comfy which for me to say is rare anyways. The breakfast was great as well. Will stay here again & would recommend.
