So if you live out of state this is clearly not the bar to go to. You’re going to receive nothing but attitude and denial lol. Girl with the ugly pixie cut needs to learn how to talk to people.

First time at Flips Bar , friendly people, good service the food very good , better than We thought for a bar, interesting specials ! Our waitress was very accommodating.,! However we were shocked to see patrons SMOKING INSIDE! A few women in the back by the game room and a man within a few feet from us at the next bar table. I have compromised health/ breathing / lung.. issues., so we had to leave. NJ law no smoking inside public places????! Otherwise everything was good , but that’s a deal breaker! We would go back if the smoking is eliminated.

A bit of a dive bar, but in a classic way. They have a pool table in the back and a little menu. Their drinks are cheap and the place attracts friendly local customers. It had a Cheers vibe where everyone knew each other but they were friendly to new faces.

Cute bar - has a pool table, but the owner's kid and her little friends like to think it's their bar and only those who are catering to her mouth can enjoy being there without drama being started. Full of loud mouthes and judgement.

Really great atmosphere and perfect place for a laid back night of beer and laughs! Definitely a local hotspot and I now know why! It was pretty packed at the bar around 11pm yet food and drinks were quick and fairly priced! Our bartender Tara was amazing! She was extremely nice and super quick! The bar itself is really long and she did a fantastic job remembering our drinks,checking on us and making sure we we're enjoying our night, all while serving the dozen other people sitting along side us!! The buffalo chicken bar pie was by far the best I've ever had! The atmosphere is really cool and welcoming. Vintage style ceiling and decor with a clean and organzied look! The front of Flips is slightly misleading and I was super impressed upon entering! They had bar games, tons of TVs, and used actual Red Bull for my drink! (I can't stand the fake energy drinks most places use) Overall experience was great! I wish I played pool but we were having too much fun catching up with some old friends!! Thanks Tara for making it a "Flipping" great night, I will definitely be back and I have a good feeling Tara may remember my drink and that is the best service anyone could ask for!

What a fun little hole in the wall dive bar. Looks so crummy from the outside but it's packed on the inside with locals and great food, prices and beer. Will return the next time I'm in in the monkville reservoir area.

Great hometown bar with good service and great food! Fun shuffleboard to play in the back with your friends. Very fair prices for drinks and large portion meals

Ok so ! Met this Beautiful amazing woman named Tawny hope IAM spelling it right last week and she recommended that my boss and I try this place so we decided to come today and it's everything she said and more great atmosphere great food and last but not least coldest Bud's ever yyyeeesssss

Great bar with awesome food and great bartenders. The outdoor patio in the back was recently redone and very nice. Good drink prices too.

Good atmosphere. I wish they had music playing all the time. Disco fries are good the last 2 times they were not the greatest but the ravioli, pierogies are good sizzler was a bit burnt but they had a party going so ill let that slide and will try again on a less busy day..

Bartender was the biggest b**ch in the world. I’ve honestly never seen anything like it. A group of friends (who were all 21 btw) walk in the bar and she calls us all over and checks our IDs which isn’t bad. But then tells us they don’t take out of state IDs and throws one of our IDs across the bar and made a fool of herself. Hope she can find a new job when that place closes down because only accepting your 5 local drunks isn’t a great business strategy. Worst customer service ever if your not a local, the staff makes you feel like your not allowed. Good look and thanks for the goodbye, would have made your yearly revenue if you just served us.

Friendly staff pretty damn good ravioli... should be served with bread and maybe a small side salad but great atmosphere to relax and enjoy some drinks

This place definitely has honorable mention as one of the diviest of dive bars. Located across the road from a (n overpriced) liquor store, it's a good place to go and buy a 6 pack if the store is closed. Bit of an awkward set up with a narrow passage past the bar and some tables in the back. There was a pool table last time I was there. Drinks are decently priced. If you're into dives, it's definitely worth a visit; you won't be disappointed.

Food is delicious, better than you'd expect from a dive. They have weekly unique specials and it's definitely not standard bar food. Price's vary slightly depending on whose working. All the young flock here as well as dailies, there's a peaceful atmosphere. Budweiser is $4 a pop. Bar is cozy like a cabin in Colorado, very nice ambiance. I'd recommend for anyone, especially if you're looking to meet new people and have a no-nonsense good time. Jukebox, pool table, lively weekends, very calm with plenty of TVs weekdays.😊
