I like to support local businesses, but apple bees in butler nj needs to find new chefs. I ordered the neighborhood nachos beef, and it came with one scoop of beef, cheese was not melted, barely any tomatoes, decent amount of quac but one teaspoon of sour cream, and the nachos were stale. It’s a joke.

Applebee's I'd always fun and always consistently good. The bartender was super nice. 👌

Nice casual place. First Applebee's I really enjoy. Food is good, staff is attentive. Better to make reservation before if you are going during busy hours.

i sat at the bar and was taken care of by one of the best waiter/bar tenders i’ve rarely encountered while dining out. the service Nick M gave was very attentive, kind, quick, and even very nice to talk to. would come back again just to be served by him again.

A fine go-to dining and social experience. Food, drink, service, and staff all high quality--in restaurant and car-side order to go. Team and regular customers on a first name basis. An asset to the local community. Thanks for being there!

Once the bartender arrived it was fine, but took 15 or more minutes for her to show up. A bit off-putting that all the employees were complaining about being sent home early, but really didn't bother me much.

Zach is the best waiter in the world because he helped us with our problems with the other table next to us and he was so energetic. It looks like he wanted to be there and like it made our experience at applebees💋🍎 just 10 times greater. He is such a king and we’ll definitely request him next time we dine at this exquisite restaurant.

Food was absolutely terrible. How do you mess up wings and fries the wings were super dry when I ordered honey barbecue and the fries were hard and stale like if they were left out all day before I ate them. The lady on the phone said that they will leave utensils and napkins in the bag and when I receive the order I didn’t have either. They didn’t even give me sauce for my order. I don’t recommend this Applebee’s. As there are far better ones.

This is the best Applebee's I've been at. The location is clean you could eat off the floor, with good service. Food is great for a chain. Must have great management in there because I vowed never to step foot in an Applebee's years ago, but here I frequent. Great job you guys!

I ordered fish and chips, it wasn't cooked enough and didn't taste good, my grandson liked his meal. Service was great though

My food was amazing and I ordered a steak that was perfectly medium and my server Alicia was the best part of the whole experience!! She was so nice and helpful throughout the night and had a smile on her face the entire time. We need more workers like her now than ever in America she earned the tip and even more I will definitely be coming back soon!

If you want great service and an awesome bartender then this is where you wanna go. Nick is one of the best that I’ve ever had the pleasure to deal with. He always makes good recommendations and is always honest when it comes to dishes. He knows his drinks and customers well.

came in for a quick half apps meal with a friend. food was good as always. Garlic Parmesan boneless wings were perfectly crispy. got Alicia as our server. she was just wonderful all night. very attentive and just a pleasure to chat with. Definitely always a good experience here

I love bees. They really are what allowed us to have apples in the first place I had an amazing server, young man at the tables by the bar, blonde hair. He was so very friendly, patient, easy going and kind. I hope you guys are treating him well. Hes a good kid. Food was delicious. I ate the most at our table that night. I dont remember my servers name but thank you dude for making it memorable. You rock.

I ate here for the Half Apps special after 10 PM and although it was very busy my server Patty was absolutely amazing. She was very kind even though she was helping a lot of tables and was on the ball the whole time. My table was never left waiting more than a couple minutes if we needed something and Patty made it feel like we weren't any trouble which is a very good feeling as a customer. She is likely one of, if not the, best server I've ever had! The wanton tacos were also to die for

Most horrible experience ever here. There were 5 of us who went to eat. Two of us got the 2 for $ dinners, and the rest ordered separate meals. Our 2 for $ meals came out and no one else's. It was a good 20 minutes later the others food came out. And that was after us having to ask the manager about it, because our server was avoiding us over the OOPS... And it was not even busy, may 10 tables seated in total. Our salads (instead of an app) came out after the meal, and were brown and frozen.

I usually go daily for their house salad. Every 3rd or 4th one is nearly inedible. Soggy wet limp lettuce croutons wet and mushy. Disgusting. Then if you call a manager they ask you to come back to.get a new one (should have got it right first time) or they give you a $5 gift card in the mail which does not cover what you bought.

Good basic selection of mainstream food menu items at reasonable prices. Very good service.

Their only edge is the time they are open until and their 10pm half price apps. Servers bsing... not attentive to customers... if it continues their business will definitely take a hit.

I feel bad giving 4-stars but they had about half the tables closed. I suspect they hadn't staffed, even though it was a federal holiday. We waited 15 minutes for a table. Food was good. Fresh. But it took a long time to get to us. Our waitress was great! Checking on us, apologizing, and kept us informed. Loved her!

The bartender was super friendly and professional, but the MOD needed serious training on service recovery. He doesn’t understand that touching a table with a sincere apology is worth more than 50% off on steak that is supposed to come medium instead of well done.

Food and service were good. My husband's steak was cooked to order, as was my cheeseburger. I tried the $5 margarita. It was way too sweet.

Waitress was very nice, food not so much. I ordered the Chicken and broccoli alfredo, which wasn't very good. Broccoli was extremely mushy and the chicken had a strange texture to it. Everyone else enjoyed their food though, so next time I will order something different.

Riverdale Applebee's provides excellent service (including servers, cooks, bus staff and hosts). I have not been disappointed on either of my visits. Tonight (Mother's Day) was quite busy and our waiter (Alex) was super!

We always enjoy our meals there and the service has always been good.

Well sometimes the food is great and they cooked it well done like you asked but sometimes omg it’s like why did I even waste my money or my time but the most of all the manger’s are great except one of them he’s very rude and has a I don’t care attitude I think his name is Steve but I know the voice and it’s sad one bad apple will spoil it and the workers are great we’ll it’s always one or maybe she was having a bad day but honestly don’t bring it to work this was my first time dealing with her or seeing her and again don’t know the name but know her face.

The food was good and fresh, but little bit salty. Our waitress was awesome...fresh salad, nice appetizers, and the drinks were not bad. The restaurant is clean and nice music. Prices are good, specially the half price appetizers after 10 pm.

My wife and I had dinner and were hoping for a nice quiet evening but it didn't turn out that way. Our server Melody was excellent but we happened to be seated near a group of rowdy teenagers who were making rude comments and talking loudly. When we asked to be moved to a different table, nobody helped. Good food but not great atmosphere.

Absolutely incredible restaurant— food is consistently delicious, and the staff are incredibly reactive and thoughtful! Great service all around, could not recommend coming here for a bite more.

Let's be real,,Applebee's was never a gourmet restaurant but it offered decent priced meals. BUT.....since the great COVID revolution,I feel the prices have went up to conform to "INFLATION". But it seems that service doesn't match the price. The wait staff is fine. It's just the kitchen cannot often follow the wait staffs requests. Plus the menu seems sooo blah now.
