Took me back to my days in Barbados!! The Roti & chicken is fantastic. A must have with the hot sauce.

From the owner (Mr Hansil) to the Servers, these are the friendliest people ! The LIVE MUSIC and the MUSICIANS are so entertaining ! The food is good too!

This is such a great place to spend weekend nights. I love the jerk chicken fingers and chicken curry roti most!! The chef is super awesome and so are her daughter and other 2 hosts. They just make you feel very good. The karaoke nights are very enjoyable.

One of my favorite bars in NJ, and the best Caribbean food without a doubt. Food is authentic and worth every penny! Bartenders are both attentive and beyond humble. Can't say enough good things about this bar! Highly recommend.

An awesome super friendly place to come. Welcomes everyone. Very unique place. The grill has a Caribbean flare, with curried onion burgers and stewed chicken. They make their rum punches on site and they're refreshing and taste authentic. They have many events and lots of live music. The bar is ridiculously clean. Can't really go wrong here, whether you're flying solo or running with friends. Can even bring kids earlier in the night. If you like cheese steak get the Jerk cheese steak! Crazy good comfort food that one. And the service is super friendly!

This place is amazing. Friendly (Stephanie) and incredible, authentic food. The Chicken Roti was out of this world. Great value, friendly atmosphere and plenty of room. Definitely worth the trip (we came 40 minutes). In a sea of "everything is the same", you have to give this place a shot. I wouldn't still be here after 30 years if it wasn't amazing!

If you like men in dresses you’ll love Hansils on a Friday night. Food is delish

Being southern new jerseys foremost authority on the subject I took the opportunity to stop in and educate the locals about the Jersey Devil. I was blown away by the staff as well as the unexpected delicious food. Half the menu looked like standard bar fare while the other half looked to be authentic Caribbean. I am so glad I tried the jerk chicken as it was second only to Scotchies. If you like hot sauce make sure to get Steve's homemade sauce. It will burn your face off and it is the perfect sauce for the jerk seasoning 10/10 will come out of my way to come back.

Stopped in for a beer after passing 1000 times. Place was awesome. Spoke to some regulars about the Caribbean menu and they said it’s incredible. Based on that feedback, I can’t wait to try it out.

They are clearly a proud supporter of Debacle Band, which is very nice. I went with a friend to a listening party. The food and drinks were great. I did end up going myself to the bar for a round, but totally understandable-- a busy night. Be back soon!

Had a couple of beers at the bar with my friend tonight. This is a terrific bar. The Brix City IPA was on tap and it was very good. Bartender was super friendly. I recommend the appetizer samplers. A great value and they were delicious.

Food was great. Music came on as we were leaving, made us wish we could have stayed.

It's not much to look at but we had. We went for karaoke and had a great time. We didn't eat only had a few drinks.

Small tavern, pool table & dart board, 3 TVs showing sports. Good burger, bartender welcoming and friendly. Has SOME draft beer. Weekly "Open Mic" is popular.

Good food. They have best Chicken curry roti. Prices on the menu is different from what they charge. Around $2-$3 extra per menu item.

This is the quintessential dive bar. It’s unique, and has an old “key west” feel. This is a no-frills type of place with friendly staff and patrons. The menu has a well-rounded selection. I was happy with the drink selection. The prices what you’d expect for a local dive, which is much appreciated over the over-priced gimmicky dime-a-dozen places.
