Well prepared sandwiches and salmon meals. Nice people.

Was looking for a "lakeside" restaurant near me and found this place. Stopped in for lunch and sat at the far end of the bar. Nice view of the lake and beach outside. There was an older couple in the middle of the bar having lunch and several very loud guys at the other end of the bar. They didn't really bother me but I wondered if they bothered the couple in the middle. Maybe they were all locals and it didn't matter. The dining room was behind me and it was empty. Maybe it's more of a dinner and drinks kind of place. Anyway, I ordered the French Onion Soup and a burger and fries and it was all very good. The soup was hot, hot, hot so make sure you have a cold drink if you order the soup! Yeah, I'm the weirdo that orders hot soup on a 90° day! The bartender was friendly and the service was very good. Prices were very reasonable, too. Glad I stopped in and would definitely go back. I don't think there was access to the beach/lake but I took a pic from the bar and also by holding my camera over the fence outside. Nice area.

I can comfortably say I have never in my life received such exceptional service!! They're so caring, attentive, the food is great and to top it off the prices are very reasonable. This is the second time visiting with my family and i wish i could express in better words how happy I am with the food and staff at this place. We will come back

We have been twice in two weeks, the waitress seems to be more interested in dancing and seeing friends than giving attention to the table. Two weeks in a row we ordered an entree and received a different entree. We waited a long time to get our food, and half of the group didn’t like it or it was cold. A couple meals were burnt and removed from the check. Waited for the check and waited to pay, ugh. Also, the beer on tap is warm. Just order bottled.

The food here is delicious and there is a good variety of choices. Our waiter was very good and pleasant. Hopefully next time we visit the carpeting will have been replaced. It has seen better days and there are numerous trip hazards.

Would have been a great experience, except they need to hire more people, especially when they are named packed on an entertainment night...1 server, 1 cook?...wth....

Lakeside Restaurant in Wayne is a great bar/restaurant that left me impressed. The Buffalo Wings were outstanding, perfectly crispy, and tossed in a flavorful sauce. The appetizer specials were delightful, offering a range of delicious options. The Filet Mignon was cooked to perfection, tender, and juicy. Their generously sized drinks added an extra level of enjoyment. The service was top-notch. Lakeside Restaurant is a must-visit for a memorable dining experience. I'm pretty sure they pull frozen food out of a box & warm it up - barely. My food was cold. Bartenders are inconsistent. My first drink was delicious, 2nd round not good

Was looking for a late night dinner and wanted to try something that would either be an amazing surprise or totally awful, this was thankfully an amazing surprise! Who would expect to find such good food next to a lake association, where half the space is an Italian restaurant and half is a sports bar. Tried the French onion soup and Caesar salad - I don't know what they did to that soup but it was the perfect line between sweet and salty and gooey cheese, and the Caesar was coated with exactly the right amount of creamy delicious dressing. Also tried the "Baked Alaskan cod" and that is what prompted me to take a picture. Never had anything like this - light, perfectly cooked cod with a really different flavor profile and well seasoned vegetables. Also, it's billed as Italian but there were a lot of interesting Asian and Caribbean inspired options on the menu. Gotta come back when it's not 10 pm and try out a proper dinner.

This place is the best. Good for kids, or adults. Place to unwind. Find a friendly conversation. Food is pretty good. Bartenders are great. Just a good neighborhood spot vibe. Fun place.

Lakeside Restaurant on Lake Dr West in Wayne, especially the dining room is a top favorite of ours. Except when they host private parties in the dining room, which we have done, you can almost always get a table, but they do take reservations just to be safe. White table cloths, elegant dining setup including wine glasses, nice Italian bread without having to ask, O&V on the table, and its BYO. Sal who is the maitre d', except when David the owner is the house, and Rene always provide great service. Very decent menu of Italian entrees, American dishes, pub style grub, and always some great specials. If you are looking for a quiet and elegant experience for dinner which will not break the bank – Lakeside is the place.

Very nice dining experience! I met a friend here for lunch and we were pleasantly surprised! We both had the fish lunch special with a salad appetizer. The service was great by Sal and the food was very good. We both enjoyed it very much! We would definitely recommend. The view is also beautiful as an added plus!

Bright blue awnings make this place look like a green restaurant. Oof the decor is tasteless and cheesy. Food is not made in house whatsoever, that’s for CERTAIN. I could go to CostCo and get a better meal out of their frozen section.

Best service, atmosphere and food ! We rented their private room for a baby shower and my family and friends loved it. The staff was courteous and efficient and so friendly. Sal the manager took care of everything from the start. We will definitely be back !

Lovely restaurant. Food was not exactly made as requested but delicious nonetheless.

The food is good, the cook was the server the day we went, on a Sunday. The Coors Light drafy was warm and stale, I think the lines need cleaning. The restaurant was dark and cold, odd atmosphere. The food is on the expensive side, but the worst part is that the tip (20%) was automatically added to the bill ( saved me $, I usually tip more ) , a credit card charge was already added on, and then when he ran it, the receipt that you sign still had space to add a tip! If you're not paying attention, you could easily tip well over 40%. There are better places to spend your $ in my opinion.

The place has potential but is just a bar full of regulars, not nice ambience. Is a bit outdated.

Neighborhood bar. Reasonably priced drinks, pretty good atmosphere with love music on some nights. My burger with pulled pork was pretty good. Bartender Steve was very friendly.

Absolutely terrible. People smoking right in front of the entrance and the best view you get is a bunch of drunks at the bar. Place smells like an ash tray and its so dark inside good luck trying to eat your food. Got 2 Pepsi's and an apple juice then left

Went there on Saturday night around 530pm. Was sat promptly. There were 2 middle age couples at the bar that were so loud we had to leave. On our way out we met another couple who had dinner and was leaving. They couldn't believe nothing was said to these people. On our way out someone came out and my wife said something to him that we were leaving because of it. They also were cursing and there also was a family seated with children. The bartender shouId have said something right away. We were really looking forward to having dinner there and these people ruined it.

The band was Great!!! Saw rock Kandy. But service was horrible. We waited an hour and a half for our sandwiches to come out. We were told before ordering we could order food and one drink and then we had to go to the bar. They gave us a check before even our drinks came out???? I tired to pay with cash and credit card but they said we couldn't do that, so I paid all in cash. An hour later they gave me the same check and said we didn't pay.

I didn't give 3 stars. They won't let me leave 0 The food was awful. The 2 servers for the whole room were very pleasant, but obviously stretched too thin. Was charged for a beer that I never got. The band just sucked. The owner has obviously never spent a minute there.
