Maison Margaux was a 10/10 experience. Everything we ordered was delicious but the bouillabaisse, steak, and crème brûlée were the stars of the show. The drinks were beautifully presented and soooo yummy; I appreciated how boozy they were given the price tag. The service was also next level phenomenal. The downstairs bar is also a vibe and definitely worth checking out— very sexy! I literally felt like I was in Paris for 4 hours! Prepare to drop some change but know that it’s totally worth it!!! Perfect for date night or an evening out with the girls, Maison Margaux is a must visit!!

We had a lovely experience at Maison Margaux. To begin with the place is elegant, almost beautiful. With a cool, dark and obscure speakeasy downstairs. The wait staff are very friendly and helpful. And the food was delicious. Also there is a delightful wine list.

My wife and I had dinner this evening (1/6). We arrived about 15 minutes early, so we went downstairs to the bar for drinks. The bartenders that helped us were great! I had a glass of wine and my wife had the raspberry lavender lemonade. After drinks we went back upstairs to be seated. Our table was in full view of the kitchen. Our waiter was Sam and he also was great! He made us feel welcome and helped answer all of our questions we had about the menu. For starters we ordered the onion soup and the cauliflower souffle. We were also served bread. Both items were hot and tasty! The broth of the soup was wonderful! My wife ordered the short rib bourguignon and I ordered the rack of lamb fricassee. Her short rib was fork tender with wonderful flavor. My lamb was cooked to perfection and had a great crust to it. Both were very good and we would definitely order them again! For dessert we shared the creme brulee & a latte. Both were a great way to end the evening! Overall, we had a fabulous time and can't wait to come back!

Had a great experience. Last minute drop in on a Friday night and was able to be seated almost immediately in the underground bar. Very trendy and really a fun vibe. Menu is the same upstairs and downstairs! Bar staff was an A+ in knowledge and friendliness. Service staff also super nice and intentional to make sure our experience was memorable. Fresh baked breads, Scallops St Jacques, Salad Nicoise and Moules-frites all winners. In my opinion, the underground bar had a much more lively experience than the main dining area. We will return.

Place is not all that over hyped, over priced on food and drinks. The main sous chef wearing dark shades of glasses was so loud and rude to his kitchen staffs (he even did the middle finger towards us- so childish like). There was lots of cussing in the kitchen, had to asks for service, there was no refills of water until you ask for it, don't waste your money here. Food was very bland, no flavor, didn't even get our food until 1 hour and 30 minutes later). Had to asks for bread and butter, while waiting for food.

We had a nice time at Margaux, although the food was mixed. The scallops, cauliflower soufflé, and short ribs were all first rate. The Onion Soup was solid. But the bouillabaisse and green beans were far too salty and oily. The ratatouille was also a disappointment. The meal ended well with an excellent pineapple pie. Solid service and cool vibe. Not sure if I would come back given the price point to quality ratio, but worth at least one visit if you like French food.

My fiancé and I had an amazing experience at this place for my birthday! The craft cocktails were exceptional, and I was pleasantly surprised by the unique champagne cocktail I ordered. What sets this place apart is their dedication to catering to vegetarians. The variety of vegetarian and vegan options was astonishing, and they even had a dedicated vegan menu. We kicked off our meal with the cauliflower and gruyere soufflé, which was a spectacular surprise – who knew cauliflower could taste this good? For our main courses, we tried the bone marrow and duck confit, along with the pistou linguini (no jambon), and both dishes were superb. My fiancé declared that the duck was one of the top 5 meals of his life! To top it off, we savored a delicious cheesecake that wasn't overly sweet. The exceptional staff made the experience even better. Dakota, our waitress, kept us entertained all night and offered fantastic recommendations. Even the head chef paid us a visit. This meal was a delightful treat, and we'll definitely be returning!

Beautiful restaurant and the staff is very friendly! Bar tender is a cool dude. The brunch menu is some of the best in Minneapolis. Definitely come check this place out.

Great food, amazing service, perfect atmosphere. They have a dark themed underground lounge that is to die for. Best scallops I've ever had and they are presented with a shell which is so unique. I love French inspired places and they did not disappoint.

Incredible food and fantastic service. We had zero complaints about our meal at Maison Margaux over the holidays. The cocktails were creative and delicious and the wine menu was extensive with many options by the glass. For appetizers we shared the Aligot and the cauliflower souffle. Both were rich and delicious but the souffle was a real showstopper. For dinner our group had the Rack of Lamb, the steak au poivre, the bouillabaisse, and the gnocchi. Everyone loved their dish and were left happy and full. The steak au poivre was strongly peppers as advertised with a nice funky wine sauce to cut the heat. It was unique, delicious, and cooked perfectly. We ended the night with croquembouce which were creamy and crispy. Overall a fantastic experience that we would definitely do again.

The pictures don't do this place justice. Everything was incredibly delicious. So many good items on the menu, it was hard to choose. Everything we had was 10/10 delicious. They even had vegan/vegetarian options which is nice to see at a high end restaurant. Our server was awesome, not only friendly, but incredibly knowledgeable. Gave helpful and detailed information about any dish, as a foodie I could have just sat there enjoying his descriptions of the food! Definitely will be back!

Maison Margaux is a new modern French restaurant in Minneapolis that is raising the bar for French dining. The restaurant has a unique and stylish interior. The staff is wonderful, providing attentive and friendly service. The menu is offered in both French and English, adding to the authentic French experience. It will be considered one of the most important restaurants to open this year. Overall, Maison Margaux is a promising new addition to the Minneapolis dining scene with great customer service and a stylish ambiance.

This is one of the new places in North Loop and I think that it has an awesome atmosphere. Most of our food was tasty and portions were generous. I was between 4 and 5 star, but decided to give 5 as being a northlooper. Service can be improved. We ordered cauliflower soufflé and seafood tower to begin. We were asked if we like bread and we said yes. Seafood tower came first and then the bread basket with butter came after we started to eat seafood. Cauliflower soufflé was ready and we asked to get it later if possible. It still came when we were in the middle of the seafood. It was overcooked and smelled like egg basket. So I would have expected to start with bread and butter first, then continue with seafood tower and after finishing that, the hot appetizer could have been served which was cauliflower soufflé. We also ordered wagyu steak as main to share. Pepper sauce was good but overall it was like a regular steak not like a wagyu. I picked it there for my husband’s birthday, we didn’t regret.

Gorgeous and cozy basement bar! Stumbled upon MM after wandering around the North Loop trying to find a table without reservations. We were happily seated and served by Jacob. He was very helpful and got us answers to all of our questions. The menu was the same as upstairs. We were tucked back in a cozy booth which felt private yet still part of the scene. The wine list was impressive and the food all tasted amazing! We had the pistou jambon linguini (5 stars!!), halibut chasseur (also 5 stars), and the pommes frites (4 stars). Meal portion sizes were perfect!

A most amazing night our family (11 of us) had at Maison Margaux….from being greeted at the door to good bye’s and thank you’s at the very end of the night! The service was special and all the waiters were kind and attentive throughout the night. The waiter made wonderful family style food decisions for our entire group. That was the best! We were able to try many things on the menu this way. Everything was beautifully presented and absolutely wonderful in taste. Truly a House of Pearl.

I cannot express truly how incredible our experience was here. I don’t drink alcohol right now and the NAgroni was amazing. Our food was outstanding, I ordered the Parisian gnocchi and was very impressed. The atmosphere was beautiful as well, but what topped off our experience was the outstanding service by our server Dakota. She knew so much detail about our food and drink and went above and beyond to make our time there very enjoyable. We ended the night with tea, espresso and dessert and it was perfect. Will be back soon!
