Garbage tools broken out of the box and wouldn't return or give me instore credit. There computer said I had never bought a singal tool from them but somehow when they entered my phone number my email address came up. So how dose it have my email address associated with my phone number but there are no records of purchases....? My number has not changed in years and I have bought several tool from there. I won't anymore. Plus employee was rude and argued about everything. Surprised he even replaced my broken chisles. Kept trying to say they weren't from there.....

So harbor freight has a recall on their jack stands and I had 4 that fell into their recall. They have the recall notice posted right at their front door. I brought in my stands as directed by their posting and was told they would only give me store credit for $30. I’ve posted the actual sign from the store. It reads cash back for purchase price or gift card for full price plus 20%. I asked why they wouldn’t just swap them out for the exact same ones (which they had in stock) I was told they were more money. When asked about the gift card plus 20% I was told sorry we don’t do that any more. Unbelievably poor customer service. You sold me a product that put my life in danger and then don’t even honor the recall. What a sad company.

It's like the dollar tree of tool stores. Most stuff is cheap (compared to high quality name brand stuff) and it's cheap. Junk. Use once, throw away type stuff. Staff is mostly not useful. Some items, like car polish, wax, other consumables are outrageously over priced. Bondo, etc. Batteries are cheap, but not worth the cheapness. Should just be given to you based on how bad they are. Some things though are worth it. Fortress air compressors, super worth it. Folding cherrypick, tire changer, uh, other things, worth it. Pittsburgh tools I hear now have a old craftsman like warranty, but I still wouldn't get them as they have no craftsman like quality to them, I think the warranty is just to get people back in the store. Genius, seeing as you could be back multiple times a day, yeah. They are that bad. Icon stuff I don't know about. The white drone at 55 bucks is AWESOME and I highly recommend it, if you can find it, it's always out of stock.

Purchased a floor jack today. A little dissapionted to see the good, better, best stickers on all of the jacks and the one I came to purchase was labeled good. I have purchased tools, a floor creeper, and a tool box here. These are decent quality items, I've come to like this store.

Discovered really cool supplies to use for quilting. Bought bungee cords and clamps to "float" my quilt top for free motion quilting. Magnetic dish for pins, sharp picks for cleaning cutting mats and stencils, metal rulers, triangle shapes for quilting.Gloves with grips for bike riding + painting, reasonably priced paintbrushes. Flashlights for camping.

Always find what I need here when it comes to tools today I purchased a grease gun for $27.99 out the door under $20 great deal.

Very good basic hand tools at a moderate price has helped me afford mechanical tool for myself, my son, and my grandson. The quality has been good enough to do the job.

This is the Harbor Freight that you want to visit if you're on this side of the metro, because it is so much bigger than any of the other ones nearby. And so much better organized. They seem to have the same thing in common is a lot of other Harbor Freight stores, which is being short-staffed. But this one tries a lot harder to have people that are working to help you instead of people that are working to just get paid by the hour. This is a large Harbor Freight store to walk through, but it is even larger in stock and inventory that you don't see. I have been able to call them and have them pull an item from the shelf for me and put it up until I got there on a couple different occasions, and they were happy to do it, as well as efficient in doing so.
