We had such a great experience at Fhima’s. The vibe from the staff was they were happy to be there and were passionate about the food and drinks they served. Travis was our server and he is the kind of server you will request to have when you come back to the restaurant. The sommelier was awesome because he came over to our table right away, asked my wine preferences, and offered to do a wine flight for me. The flavor of all the dishes packed a flavor punch in the best way. This chef clearly takes his food seriously, as the pigeon pie was not being offered because it was not up to his standards (we will be back to try that for sure). Overall, an outstanding dining experience and we will definitely be back.

Unforgettable meal! This is fine dining without being stuffy. Beautiful food prepared with passion, and presented by staff who are genuinely excited to make your experience special. Johnny and the whole staff made us feel comfortable and catered to. If we are ever back in the Minneapolis area, we will most definitely be back because there was so much more on the menu that we wish we could have tried.

Amazing food. Love the meatballs, Lamb cigar and Beef tijane. The bread for the hummus was amazing. My family loved the drinks as well. One of the finest food experiences I had. Loved it. And thanks to Dana for some great service. Try it! You wont repent it.

Service was AMAZING!! I came in to sit at the bar after a long day this Sunday, greeted by the very nice host Naomi. The bartenders Mo and Morgan made me two fantastic drinks, and I had what may be one of the best burgers of my life. As I closed the tab I had a nice conversation with a server Tim, which was very pleasant. The atmosphere of the restaurant, what with the music and especially the service, exceeded my expectations and I will be coming back!

Amazing restaurant. Great atmosphere. Remarkable service, from the time we entered the restaurant and were welcomed by Eli and throughout the meal. Tons of drink choices. Many choices of food items. Tried the mussels, duck confit and rigatoni and they were all delicious, as well as the bread rolls. Also had the crème brûlée which was also amazing, the presentation an experience on its own. Will definitely be going back. Too many other items we want to try.

Both extremely delicious and unlike any other restaurant in the twin cities. If you are a lover of classic french cuisine the duck confit was superb. We didn't know much about Moroccan cuisine but I am a fan after trying the lamb cigars (app) and the lamb tagine. We also had the Korean short ribs which were very tender, and the petit chicken which was perfectly cooked - crispy and moist. The empanadas we chose as a second app and they were also very good. Apps are small (2 items) but the entrees mostly were very large. The sides (fries and cheesy mashed potatoes) were all perfect. The cocktails as well were a huge hit. We will be back to sample the rest of the menu.

I've been here twice now. The ambience of the whole place is amazing! Everywhere you look there are little architectural or decorative details. The lighting is moody, but not dark. The food is delicious! This time we had the mussels and sourdough bread. Very simple and yet one of the best meals I have ever had. During the social hour, the "Choose your own adventure" cocktail option is just so fun! The bartenders really know what they're doing and are super attentive. My husband got a drink called the Pegasus Club last time - the bartender had learned the recipe from a 1935 cocktail book, told us the history of the drink, and it was delicious!

You probably haven't lived if you haven't had a smoked old fashion. Places do it a little different but here it's all done in front of you! Will was our server and took great care of us, even though we only ordered drinks at the end of the night.

Service is excellent—extremely attentive, friendly, and accommodating. The cocktails are an experience, each one has its own unique presentation. The food is also delicious. French/Moroccan was a very interesting concept and unlike anything I’ve tried. If you’re looking for a fancy, unique meal with 10/10 service, definitely give this place a try.

Made reservations for a friend fresh off the plane from Casablanca. He described it as Moroccan food with a flair. We really enjoyed the Lamb cigars. Waitstaff was excellent.

We went for a friend's birthday and have only good things to say about our experience at Fhima's! They even brought out champagne and a little birthday for the birthday lady! Everything was amazing, the drinks unique and fun. The appetizer we had was lovely and delicious. Our meals were decadent and appetizing. The flavors were lovely and opened up our palettes! Great service! Highly recommend - I think we'll be back to try brunch soon!

Extravagantly decorated restaurant with good food. Was greeted and seated right away. Ordered 3 appetizers to share and all had their own bursts of flavor. The burger buns were a little too salty though. The fries were a little too room temperature for me after coming out. I like fresh hot fries. Salmon cakes were nice and crispy. The salad was the best part for me. Would have been even better with another healthy crunch to it like cucumbers or red onions. All in all I recommend.

I did a pick up order while in a huge winter storm and on a normally-would-be-busy Friday night, it was very slow due to the weather. While I waited for the food, the staff were lovely, so friendly and warm (on a cold day too!). The order was quite large and absolutely fantastic! The seafood was some of the best I've had. The atmosphere of the place was intimate and upscale. The booths had large privacy curtains if needed and the ceiling is quite tall, lovely design and detail! I would love to have a dine-in meal here, and soon!

Fhima’s was picked by my husband for my birthday. I loved the atmosphere, menu and the service. Good mix of Mediterranean, French and Moroccon tastes. It is a good place to celebrate a special occasion. We had lamb cigars, taste of Morocco and grandma’s paella. We were more than full as two with two appetizers and one entree.Lamb cigar was very different but balanced the different spices greatly. With taste of Morocco, they bring awesome, freshly cooked pitas. At the end we ordered eclairs bomb which was not like regular usa desserts. It was not very sweet with great creme inside. They also served macaron from the house as it was my birthday and served it greatly. I recommend also having dessert there as it is very European tasted and using great ingredients. Last but not list, they have a great list of wines and house cocktails. Telephone call from Istanbul is a great version of Midwestern old fashioned and served with a great show.

Valentines dinner with my love and wow this place is cool! Great Gatsby vibes with impressive decor and beautiful lighting. The service is unbelievable - I think we interacted with 6 different people. The place is a well oiled machine. The food was pretty dang good, but for the price point it didn’t completely knock my socks off. For that reason I wouldn’t be in a rush to go back, but it’s fun for a fancy night out. Great cocktails too!

I got to enjoy grandmas salmon for dinner and it was fantastic. Large portion of salmon, probably 6-7 oz, earthy delicious flavored sauce, and I’m not a chickpea fan whatsoever but actually enjoyed the few that were mixed in. Service was quick and attentive. Only complaint was the salmon was a bit over cooked. It was supposed to come medium rare and mine came medium.

A large group of us ate here for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was amazing. We ordered a variety of plates, including appetizers and desserts. And while some were amazing (cauliflower salad, sampler appetizer, vegan chocolate cake, and specialty drinks like the telephone) there were a few dishes that fell short in what we’d hoped in terms of flavor (seafood paella was under seasoned without salt, cucumber and tomato salad was underwhelming and pistachio baclava was unexpectedly fig based). We did share this feedback with our server who shared this with the general manager. The GM was extremely understanding and comped some of these dishes and appreciated the feedback, which he relayed to chef. Overall, it was a lovely experience and nice to know that the feedback was welcome.

My parents & I dined in for my mothers birthday. Annabelle served us & it was a wonderful experience. She explained menu items throughly, was accommodating, friendly and sweet. Keep up the good work! Nil was amazing! My mother loved his cocktail service. It was a lovely evening. Thank you to the Fhimas family for having us!

Food was so fresh and authentic. Portions were quite large. Cocktails were strong but well balanced. Staff was attentive and helpful. Atmosphere, decor, and ambiance were intriguing. Everything was so good, I tipped them twice! I had the Taste of Morocco, Lambshank Confit, Telephone Call from Instanbul, Choose Your Own Adventure, and Crème Brûlée. Would order the exact same thing if I went back. Just can’t get any better!

When we’re lucky, we have a memorable dining experience while exploring new cities. Fhima was it for our first Minneapolis trip. It was across the street from our hotel and we went to happy hour before a concert, and liked it so much we returned two nights later. Delicious food, attentive efficient and friendly wait staff and beautiful art deco surroundings. A wonderful experience.

Took my husband here for his birthday. Upon arrival, we were greeted and taken to our table. The atmosphere was wonderful and the service was great. We started off with an appetizer called the Moroccan sampler. This dish was beautifully plated. Came with hummus, Moroccan olives, tahini, and their version of shakshuka, zaalouk (the eggplant dish) and msmen. Anyone that has ever had shakshuka knows it’s not a paste. I’ve never tasted zaalouk that was so sweet and had the taste of cinnamon. The msmen? It was flatbread. Not msmen at all! Leaving this dish, I’m assuming that this was their interpretation of these offerings. Next…. the seafood tagine. Was dry and the rosemary was so overwhelming. I told my husband the dish tasted “earthy”. He asked what I meant and I told him it tasted like dirt. The base of the tagine was “shakshuka paste” and chickpeas. Very dry! No dipping a baguette into anything to sop up all the wonderful juices that exist in a tagine. Moving on to the “tanjia”. The couscous was dry! The meat was dry! I’m guessing it wasn’t even made in a tanjia (which takes hours to cook, as well as the tagine). What tanjia or tagine is so dry? Embarrassing when you’re Moroccan looking to enjoy Moroccan food or someone that is very experienced in Moroccan food. If you’re looking for atmosphere and great service, this is a great place. If you’re looking for authentic Moroccan food, check out Moroccan Flavors at Global Market.

Fhima is such a gem of an international cuisine in Minneapolis! The tagine was so soft and flavorful, and the chicken (poulet) had a wonderful combination of spices. Strongly recommend Taste of Morocco as an appetizer. The ambiance is very romantic, and perfect for a date night.
