Major stains in the flooring, toilet, drawers, sheets, mattress, and bath tub. Looks like new paint on the walls. TV goes in and out. Staff is really nice. Water doesn't always get hot. Heat works. There's a mini fridge with a freezer section and a microwave. No trash can in the room. Lots of cable channels on a decent sized flat screen. Haven't seen bugs or animals in the room. Can't hear any neighbors. Very reasonable weekly price. Ifโ€‹ it was clean, I'd reserve a monthly. Hate filth, and the floor makes me lose my appetite. Big black stains. The toilet probably needs replacing it's so dirty.

Accidently locked out of our room when we took our baby to the Dr. Got home at 4am and the manager would not answer. Around 6am after sleeping in our car, another person from another room claimed he could help us get in and tried to unlock the door with a screwdriver. It's a metal door and chipped the paint. Around 8am the manager finally called me back and said she had other things to do so I have to wait. Finally got back in my room around 9am. Staff rude. Cops were there every weekend and rooms were dirty in general. If you have small children or just visiting this area, would not recommend it. Horrible experience.

Very nice stay. Rooms are very basic. You get mini fridge flat screen TV that mounts on wall and microwave. The owner is very nice, and is always there If you need her. They have weekly rates and it's a nice drive up hotel. We liked being able to park right by our room. The room itself was sorta dirty. All hard word floor so you're feet will get gross but that's to be expected since it can be hard to clean. I loved that they had community laundry, especially after staying for a week and having 3 kid's I needed to get laundry done which was a nice feature. They offer monthly rates as well for ppl looking not sure the price on that though. Our weekly was $365 plus taxes so I'm sure way more than that. Also very quiet which we loved. The guests just stayed to themselves. We never seen any cops there so not sure what others were talking about in previous reviews It seemed very safe to us. Only thing I would change or offer is maybe a mini playground since there seemed to be a lot of children there and some stay even months at a time. Also the location sucks so make sure you have a car. It's right off a busy hwy with no where to really walk too. Overall enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a safe and cheap stay. :)

The saying "you get what you pay for" holds true most of the time so wasn't expecting more than one should for what it is- a small hotel, in a small town and only rents rooms on a weekly basis (reasonable price but highest rate in the metropolitan area). NYC native but moving back to the Twin Cities after a few years is why I wanted a budget priced, temporary/weekly rental until securing a more semi-permanent residence. Location is very good- right off main Hwy and 15min or less to anywhere in St. Paul/Mpls proper. My stay was 5wks consecutively- ample time to see the full scope of staying at Red Rock Lodge. Overall it's a good place especially for a weekly rate, budget friendly motel. Well maintained property with on-site washer/dryer laundry available. More quiet on a regular basis than you'd expect and has nice, cordial mannered staff. Medium-small size rooms with mini fridge/freezer, small shower/no tub bathroom and mostly clean walls to ceiling with pretty good furnishings although not much/sparsely furnished- a large flat screen tv with cable, comfy bed and 2 night stands sums it up. The only 2 "needs improvement" issues: the carpet cleaning services had been overlooked for too long but no bugs or foul odors. The only other 'fix now' issue is the wireless network connection- never stays connected longer than 13min at a time and takes a long time to connect at all- very slow and annoying limted connectivity- so come equipped with your own WiFi if you need internet. Honestly though, no seedy "weekly rate" element/vibe going on there such that middle-class accustomed folks like myself could feel at ease even with an extended stay. Overall, it's a 4 out of 5 stars rating for a small, value oriented motel. โ˜บ

The price is cheap and if your looking for a dirty dive then this is it! I stayed at this place for 3 days. The 1st night i was there i just couldn't take the filth and took before and after pics. U get a large room with a queen bed , mini fridge , microwave that sits on top of the frigde, flat screen tv that is mounted to the wall and 1 end table. There was a rack to hang stuff on but no hangers. I also has to scrub the bathroom down before using it. The windows had black mold growing on the inside of the window and there was no screens. On the 2nd night i got bit by something and itched all night long. By morning i had a huge round welt on my upper thigh. I talked with the management about my problems and asked to be moved to a different. Not only did they deny me of that but they also told me that i had to leave cuz the welt looked like bed bug bites

First time visiting the area, which is on a busy little frontage road๐Ÿง. Went to visit someone staying there. Had a great visit๐Ÿ‘. Heard a lot of negativity regarding management. -Which in all, 'a trained' professional manager would have been more customer friendly/accommodating/ knowledgeable on site regarding situations. Instead of .... "I'll say"....of the negative comments in which 'nagging' & use of there position, to make one feel lower then/ belittled/powerless, insensitive over a situation. which they had no control of. (Bluntly speaking, 'putting a muzzle on it' would have been the better choice for management, then some of the negative comments I couldn't believe when I heard them... ...๐Ÿฅด๐Ÿ˜ฒ.) In all; -Was not bad location -Cleanliness good -Handicap Parking good -Plowed lot and salted sidewalks A+ thank goodness I didn't fall on my butt...lol - Thank You Red Rock Lodge for a somewhat good visit.

I absolutely loved my stay and I absolutely loved the girls that work there! They were polite and friendly. The other guest's staying there were fun and friendly. I would not hesitate to stay again! Shelley the girl in the office was down to earth and easy to talk to and would always have a smile and friendly disposition! Lesley the General Manager is good at dealing with the public and seems to have an endless amount of patients! Both of these girls do not hesitate to do any of the jobs needed to keep a place running! Plunging toilets, taking out trash, cleaning the parking lot, cleaning rooms and doing laundry! They simply did it all! I can't wait to come back after they start to redo the rooms!

This motel isn't bad they are quiet and cozy and the room are like a standard efficiency with out the stove. The owner and manger tammy is a nice and sweet lady that take great care and pride of her grounds and tenants. For the money and location u cant find a better place to lay ur head. Ive been to a lot of motel and hotel but red rock will be one of my go to places in any time of need or relaxation. Coming into the ground u have front door access to ur room there are smoking area for u outside and even a laundry mat that u can wash ur clothes. This place is kid friendly and kids are allowed to play with an open view and grounds that is safe cars dont drive thru at unsafe speeds cuz everything is open and areas where kids are arw safe. Red Rock gets my vote and they gained a loyal tenant.

Cops creep through often. Other than that. , staff seems nice, bathroom looks nice. If u wanna feel like your in a 1990's movie, with your average cast of wayward teens, with the room ominously ringing in the background. This is your place. Worth the stay! I
