The
saying
"you
get
what
you
pay
for"
holds
true
most
of
the
time
so
wasn't
expecting
more
than
one
should
for
what
it
is-
a
small
hotel,
in
a
small
town
and
only
rents
rooms
on
a
weekly
basis
(reasonable
price
but
highest
rate
in
the
metropolitan
area).
NYC
native
but
moving
back
to
the
Twin
Cities
after
a
few
years
is
why
I
wanted
a
budget
priced,
temporary/weekly
rental
until
securing
a
more
semi-permanent
residence.
Location
is
very
good-
right
off
main
Hwy
and
15min
or
less
to
anywhere
in
St.
Paul/Mpls
proper.
My
stay
was
5wks
consecutively-
ample
time
to
see
the
full
scope
of
staying
at
Red
Rock
Lodge.
Overall
it's
a
good
place
especially
for
a
weekly
rate,
budget
friendly
motel.
Well
maintained
property
with
on-site
washer/dryer
laundry
available.
More
quiet
on
a
regular
basis
than
you'd
expect
and
has
nice,
cordial
mannered
staff.
Medium-small
size
rooms
with
mini
fridge/freezer,
small
shower/no
tub
bathroom
and
mostly
clean
walls
to
ceiling
with
pretty
good
furnishings
although
not
much/sparsely
furnished-
a
large
flat
screen
tv
with
cable,
comfy
bed
and
2
night
stands
sums
it
up.
The
only
2
"needs
improvement"
issues:
the
carpet
cleaning
services
had
been
overlooked
for
too
long
but
no
bugs
or
foul
odors.
The
only
other
'fix
now'
issue
is
the
wireless
network
connection-
never
stays
connected
longer
than
13min
at
a
time
and
takes
a
long
time
to
connect
at
all-
very
slow
and
annoying
limted
connectivity-
so
come
equipped
with
your
own
WiFi
if
you
need
internet.
Honestly
though,
no
seedy
"weekly
rate"
element/vibe
going
on
there
such
that
middle-class
accustomed
folks
like
myself
could
feel
at
ease
even
with
an
extended
stay.
Overall,
it's
a
4
out
of
5
stars
rating
for
a
small,
value
oriented
motel.
