Why come here? The food is excellent (and there is friendly service). There also is a nice patio (which is dog friendly). Why not come here? The beer is very subpar for a microbreweries in the area. Some of the beers were hardly drinkable. I also was taken aback by an undisclosed 3.95% fee for using a credit card. I appreciate that inflation is a real thing, but I don't like being duped by a business into thinking pricing for cash and card is the same (which is the standard in our economy), never being told about the added fee orally (nor is it on the menu listed on their web page that you are directed to order from or anywhere else that I saw), and then have it hidden on your bill. Shame on the owner for anti-consumer tactics.

Staff was friendly. They made good suggestions to those of us who were undecided. I like a good IPA the monkey gridder did not disappoint. They also have a good dark ale called hunny bear. Slushies are good here too. Not too busy, so we could talk. They have a food truck right in the building. Nice atmosphere.

One of the best breweries we’ve been to. Atmosphere and decor were awesome. They have a food truck inside available with plenty of options, however, we had just stopped by for a drink. We both had the Monkey Grinder, outstanding! We are very picky IPA drinkers, and this IPA was one of our favorites. We agreed we will definitely return when in the area. All the guys working behind the bar were kind and fun!

Local brewery right in heart of Eden prairie, first thing to notice is that whole staff is very welcoming. They have good variety of beer and good selection of food too which is plus. Had a good time there, good hangout place for families, groups or for happy hours! Pro tip- try space monkey, it’s strong and good!

Gluten Free Beer! Gluten Free Buffalo Wings! Need I say more? Huge shout out to the crew at Fat Pants for making such a tasty selection of beers and food. Great atmosphere and awesome staff, definitely appreciate the beer recommendations. They also offer a great venue for hosting a business event as well.

Fun girls afternoon enjoying the comfy chairs in Fat Pants Brewing. The beer is good, per some of the other patrons, it's worth having one of their ice freeze drinks made with their own seltzer, not my favorite but everyone seemed to love them. The food was good but was served warm not hot, my first time eating at Fat Pants so not sure if this was a miss or the norm. The staff was fun, helpful and were experts on their beer. I liked all the seating options, outdoor, indoor, couches, tables, bar with t.v's. Very fun place to chill.

We had registered for a private dining experience, which ended up getting pushed back and some off timing / communication, then finally back on track! It's definitely an enjoyable experience, having it in a room away from all the noise was great. Getting a waiter ( Michael ) that was able to tell us about our meals -- some things not usually on the menu, and drinks along with extra conversation over things we had in common was icing on the cake. =D We hope this is something we are able to do again!

Brought by dog for a nice time on the patio. There was an aggressive dog on the patio out front so we almost left before realizing there was another on the side of the building. Ordered a flight and was just handed a pen an a flight paper to choose my 4 beers. Beertender didn't stick around if I had questions. Beer was mediocre. Enjoyed the quiet time out on the patio away from the craziness inside. Kids everywhere, running all-over. Not in a rush to get back.

Really nice place, I enjoyed the casual atmosphere. I got a flight and my favorites were Jucyfication, cream sota, and Devotion. The food menu looks fantastic but I unfortunately had the pub pretzel which was too greasy (butter coating?), the cheese dip was thin and oily, and the mustard too pasty. Very friendly staff and there are large tv's to watch sports there.

The beer list is deep and the atmosphere is very family friendly. You can also order food and put it on your tab. The mini donuts were tasty and they know how to brew an IPA. We will return when we are in the area again!

Love this place! We first came in when they opened and felt like family ever since. They are amazing owners, amazing staff and have amazing products. We love their food, and even though I am not a typical beer drinker, I am always able to find something to drink. Now with the Flying Cloud products it only gets better! If you have not been here you need to. They have a lot of events for everyone, trivia, bands, and beergo! (bingo)

Ok but seriously. Here on vacation. Came here for the funny name with the kids. Love that the flights are choose your own. Love that even the flights come with all the extras of the full size beers. In the first five minutes this brewery has proven to be above and beyond most of the breweries I frequent in my home town! Sad this is my only time here. Grateful for the amazing experience.

Fat Pants is such a fun brewery! We had a casual post-wedding reception/party at the Hopspot Brewhall event space at Fat Pants. We can’t say enough great things about it!! The event space was large enough for all of our guests and is a clean and modern space. We didn’t decorate at all except for bringing in some flowers because the space is so nice on its own! We got so many compliments on the food at our party- especially the beef short ribs! We even had compliments on the vegetables! Huge thank you the the wonderful chefs! The beer was great and our bartenders did a great job helping and serving our guests. We even got to offer signature cocktails inspired by the Montana mountain huckleberries where our wedding ceremony was. The event planner Augusta was phenomenal in helping us with our party! From start to finish, communication was great, and she had wonderful ideas for our event! We are so grateful for all the staff at Fat Pants Brewing for working so hard on our event. We can’t wait to come back to the tap room at Fat Pants just to relax and enjoy a craft beer and good food!

Wow… Eden Prairie hidden gem. Beers were great! The food was greater? Get the wings - dry rub and some sweet hot on the side! Fast service and great employee suggestions!

Great beer, food, and atmosphere. Loses a star because bartender guy had zero personality. Kind of an important thing.

Came here on a whim because of all the good reviews. I loved the atmosphere and the food was so good. Our bartender Lily recommended this blue seltzer. She was pretty knowledgeable and also had great recommendations on the food too ( No pictures ate it to fast!) We will be back! I would to highly recommend to people who have dogs (great pet friends patio) and kids as they have games and a great open place to sit and enjoy.

Really good food and beer! Went here for father's day with a friend and our families. The brewery was super kid friendly. The food was delicious as always. Pretzel bites with the garlic aioli were a hit with the kids. Pilsner and hard slushy were a hit drink wise.

Glad I went to tick it off of my list of Minnesota breweries to visit, but it was overall a bit of a mixed bag. The staff was really nice, and the outdoor seating was well lit and got a nice cross breeze, the beers for the most part were fairly modest. Their food and life music is pretty good though

Went on a Friday night for a standup comedy show. Decided to grab a quick bite. The food and beer was surprisingly good! Had a fantastic night at Fat Pants Brewing. Loved everything in my first visit. Will definitely come back!!
