This is by far the best sandwich shop on the entire island! And as someone who isn't easily impressed and who loves to eat and has decerning taste, that's no embellishment. No place is perfect but if you order any of the hot heroes you will not be disappointed! 9/10 I never had any of their soups and their potato salad and macaroni salad is lack luster but if you're craving heroes this is the place you want to go! So much so even if I had to drive half an hour out of my way each way I'd do it happily! They have some tables and chairs to eat in if that's your desire but there's no atmosphere, so I normally take my food to go!

Yummy sub sandwiches on soft, fresh rolls. I've had the tuna salad, chicken parm, Manhattan roast beef and pastrami, all were really good. Take out or eat in. Love the flavored ice tea. The lobster bisque soup was creamy and tasty. Definitely visit again!

We came from Florida looking for good heros.. this place was recommended to us.. we checked the reviews great score so I don't understand why the heros were not good. We ordered the meatball sausage parm but it was very dry barely any sauce and the pizza hero sub which was very dry as well.. anybody who makes meatball subs know you have to put sauce on it.and the meatballs didn't taste homemade they had that frozen processed meatball taste everyone knows about and they were small just like the supermarket ones.. I don't know why I was expecting from a ny deli homemade meatballs but I guess I was expecting too much.. I wasted my vacation time at this place looking for a good hero maybe I caught them on a bad day but the 4.7 they have did not match the heros we got

This is simply the BEST hero shop around. The lightning sauce you can put on a flip-flop and eat it, it is that good. Their hero is 2nd to none.

Stopped in for some soup. Had the chicken pot pie soup. Delicious! All ingredients were fresh and temperature was perfect. Heros looked great too. Will definitely return

Regardless of where you live, TJ’s is worth the trip for amazing hero’s and sandwiches. Whether you’re heading east for the weekend or anywhere near Patchogue the place is right off of sunrise hwy on Washington St. Seriously, the best hero’s not only on LI but anywhere! And the owner is a super nice guy!

One of if not the best hero shop around! The bread is fantastic! Always my go-to choice when a philly cheese steak craving hits!

Loved the Long Islander and the New Yorker heros and the ice tea is very good 👍
