Not sure what is happening. Usually food is excellent and I don’t mind paying the price. HOWVER. GET RID OF THE COOK! Visited on 10/21 to celebrate a birthday all of the 12 persons at the table felt like we were all eating a bag of salt! And 1 person who order pasta with red sauce was extremely to sweet to much sugar in the sauce. All tasted like processed food and not home cooked. Which is what is paid for! We let the waitress know and unfortunately she did nothing about it. Definitely not worth paying $100 per plate. Yup each person! Too bad. Won’t be going back!

Went there for a birthday celebration, and we weren't disappointed. Service is top-notch. Our server was Seth, and he was extremely attentive and polite. Every dish was prepared and presented with care. I ordered the clams posillipo for an appetizer and it was clean and fresh and very tasty. The extra garlic was very welcomed. I ordered the Halibut special on a bed of spinach, and it certainly didn't disappoint. I only wish I took a picture of it before I finished it. Everyone else is meal was equally fantastic. My mom got the stuffed veal chop and it was absolutely huge. After seeing it I wished that that was what I ordered! So dinner for 5, it's a small takeout dish, was $360 with a $50 bottle of wine and with tip. They also have valet parking.

Nice restaurant with a ton of menu options. Plenty to choose from for all types of diets. Great, comfortable environment. Friendly staff and excellent food. Shrimp oreganata, salmon with dijon, pappardelle bolognese, and such were all great, as were the salads and appetizers. Have been there quite a few times and will definitely keep returning!

Mannino's was a last minute choice after our original destination was closed due to flooding. The menu had many appealing choices of pasta, steak and seafood and plenty of specials as well. The fried calamari appetizer was perfectly cooked. Try the hot sauce with it-not too spicy and very tasty. The service was excellent and the restaurant was nicely decorated and cozy.

Always a good time. Fast, friendly service from a super staff. Excellent food, too many favorites to list. Mussels with gorgonzola are not to be missed. Bring on the bread to get every last chunk of cheese, mussel and sauce from the bowl! Seating areas have doubled and reservations make going there an absolute pleasure.

Nice single page menu of favorites and specials were standouts. Service from both waiter and busing people made for a excellent dining experience. Easy to see why locals go often. Looking forward to going again. Safety protocols were observed by all staff.

terrible! Made an on-line reservation for Easter Sunday. Received an email that it was confirmed, thought all would be fine until I get a phone call on Sunday afternoon that a mistake was made and they are not open on Easter, but that I can call Commack, that they would be open. Since I was out with family, I figured I would call in the morning, not realizing they are closed Mondays. Called today and no available seating! Terrible customer service! their food may be great, but they completely screwed me up for my wife's birthday and Easter Sunday!

My fiancé and I loved our experience at Mannino’s in Oakdale. It was our first time and it certainly won’t be our last. The food was incredible. However it was the outstanding service that stood out more than anything. We go out a lot and Covid has impacted the hospitality industry and customer service is lacking or non-existent at most places. Not at Mannino’s! From the moment we arrived, the server who filled our water glasses was personable, friendly and professional. Our waitress, Sam, was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and perfectly involved with us throughout our meal. Even the runners who brought out the food were friendly, nice and personable. But what really took us, was when the bus boy came over to ask if we were done with our food. He asked so politely and asked if we wanted him to wrap it up or if he could take it away. He had such a professional about him. Also, my fiancé walked to the bathroom and she said that a waiter was walking towards her and then stopped to allow her to pass. This place has delectable food, an incredible menu and “white glove” service. If you’ve never been here, you must visit!

Our first time eating there, the reviews were promising but we left disappointed, our waitress Sam was somehow professional, up to when her shift was over (we believe) and dropped the check though we never asked for it. An appetizer consisting of 2 shrimp (not Jumbo as described by Sam) in a pineapple sauce with a square of polenta priced at 19.95 was a little excessive, octopus arrived with black olives, though the menu didn't say it, one guest of our party doesn't like olives. We understand the raising prices of food but a skirt steak at $47 and a special Fish of $50 also seemed pricey. The best part was when after spending $100 per person, at 9:45 pm we were asked to leave as they were closing the dining room but we could proceed to the bar, thank you but not thank you.

Mannino's was a last-minute replacement after our first choice was closed due to flooding. There were plenty tempting spaghetti, steak, and seafood options on the menu, as well as other promotions. The fried calamari appetizer was cooked to perfection. Try it with the hot sauce--it's not too spicy and extremely tasty. The service was exceptional, and the restaurant was tastefully designed and inviting.

We just came from Mannino's what a great place,my wife and I was treat great,everyone was very attentive.our server was a a new grandmother that made sure we had a great experience.my wife had her first martini. It was great. The food was great the staff was professional,& friendly.we will go back.

While the restaurant's appearance is satisfactory, the pricing seems excessive for the portion sizes. We ordered pasta with shrimp, listed at $22, but received only three jumbo shrimp, resulting in a charge of $37. This seems unreasonable. Even reputable Italian restaurants typically provide more generous portions. While I acknowledge rising prices, the food quality doesn't align with the cost. I won't be returning to this restaurant.

Waiter named Tyler = Excellent. The valets knew how to drive stick shift = excellent. Ordered appletini and a Manhattan. Both very weak and watered down. Returned them and got others, they were great. Baked clams with scampi sauce was a special and it was excellent. My wife ordered filet mignon medium well. Came out raw. I ordered frutti de mare. It was good. I didn’t eat more than three bites because after seeing how wrongly served my wife’s steak was, I’m not going to eat if she’s not. The manager never came over, they took off the two bad drinks and the filet off the bill. After realizing mannnios has gone very downhill and I saw the bill. I had them takeoff my main course because I didn’t eat it and I’m not going to take it home and reheat fish. This really sucked because we have two kids under 2 and it was our first night out in a long time and they blew it big time. We used to live in Oakdale and we went there frequently before covid and a few times during. Just a shame.

We had a party of 15 for dinner recently (with reservations!) While we weren’t thrilled to be seated in the tent area, there were no issues with temperature in that section. It’s truly amazing that among the 15 of us, with three courses and different drinks, not a single person had a single complaint. Everything was cooked perfectly. The drinks were all mixed amazingly. Service was prompt and friendly. It was truly a fantastic night out. We will highly consider this restaurant for future special dinners.

Went for dinner with a party of 10 on a Thursday night. Main dining room was crowded and back room where we were seated had two other parties of 6-8. Service was friendly, but timing was a bit off. It was busy and we were having a good time so it wasn’t a huge deal. It was worth it because the food is always spot on. I usually get the frutti di mare (seafood salad) which is a great size for the price and is consistently delicious. This time I got the white clam combo, which lived up to the expectations. Great amount of seafood for the serving, and great flavors. My wife and I love this place for a family outting or just a great meal with friends.

It is one of the best Italian restaurants I have been to. Service is superb, and the atmosphere is pleasant. The food is phenomenal. Started with stuffed mushrooms, which were delicious. My entree was branzino and Broccoli Rabe. Besides being one of the best Branzino dishes I ever had, it was also the biggest portion. I took home the leftovers, which left room for the Hazelnut Gelato dessert. I highly recommend Mannino's.

My family and l we use to go there at least once a month and also had my kids and wife’s birthdays there for each one of them at least twice may be more. Our check is always 300+ but it’s okay we eat drink and expect to pay the price. But the last time we were there one of our order was pasta with seafood and l Asked if l can get little extra sauce. After l asked for the check l saw that they charged me 3 dollars for little extra sauce. If you go to a regular pizzeria and buy 6 garlic knots they won’t charge you for extra sauce. This was the last time we went there. I don’t mind to pay 300+ for a check but if for a little l mean very little sauce they charge me 3 dollars that upsets me. So that was our story and this is definitely not good for business !

We went for dinner with 6 people, we made reservations ahead of time. Once all of us were there they sat us right away. Everybody had their own appetizers, the table got a little quiet while we all enjoyed how tasty they were. Three people had the red snapper special, I had the stuffed veal chop which was absolutely delicious. Everybody enjoyed every bite. The waitress was very friendly and attentive to our table. We get together as a group every 2 months. We will definitely be returning.

Food was good but overpriced compared the the level we are used to getting at other places. Our usual place was booked because we waited too long. Our fault I get it. The girl that made the arrangements was very nice and did a great job during the event, but the manager was not friendly at all. It was a good event overall but would not do it again for the price. There were a few people that couldn’t make the party they charged me for the meal ok I understand that (even though I personally feel that is bad business). But since I paid for the meal I should be able to take the entire meal home. They told me they put the meals in a to-go container. When I got home there were two pieces of meat and some spaghetti. Not what I paid for… overall very nice party but way over priced and not very accommodating. I will not be making arrangements there again for family events.

Mannino's in Oakdale is the best one in my opinion. I get the penne Dolce vita every singe time - it comes with a huge portion of sea food and the sauce is ridiculous. Our waiter Rich was amazing as well. Very helpful with the menu items.

I am one of those fussy Italian Americans who desire great food, great service, a clean and pleasing ambiance and a well-paced meal. I can say all my desires were met and even surpassed here at Mannino's in Oakdale. Our reservation was somehow lost but nevertheless we were accommodated and seated immediately. The bus boy came quickly offering us regular iced water or mineral, still or sparkling. Not five minutes later our waiter arrived asking about drinks, offering us samples of the wines. About five minutes later he appeared with a glass of the most exceptional wine and quickly went through the specials. We ordered an appetizer, a shared salad and two entrees. These also arrived amazingly quickly even though the restaurant was hopping. Not only was the food delicious but served piping hot! Our waiter even went the extra mile and split our shared salad so we would not have to fuss with it. We wound up taking dessert home as we were very tired from a long trip but in the future we will plan on staying longer and enjoy every moment of the wonderful dining experience here. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Thank you to our exceptional waiter Tyler and to all the great staff who work here!

4 guys went for lunch everyone loved the food, service 2 stuffed valley chops insane. 2 pasta dishes empty when done. Great time great place.

Everything here is delicious! Best Thai calamari I’ve ever had and their bolognese sauce is top notch. So good that I can eat the sauce as a stand alone. It rivals my fathers Sunday sauce 🙃 The waitstaff is also wonderful. I just wish they would leave the grated cheese on the table lol

The Veal Carini tasted unseasoned. I had to put a lot of salt on the mushrooms, sundried tomatoes and brown gravy that smothered the veal. The bread was good especially when I dipped it in a freshly-prepared sauce of olive oil, Parmesan cheese and red pepper. Larry the bartender provided attentive service. He says that it has been several years since Mannino’s charged Happy Hour prices for alcoholic drinks. Nevertheless, Mannino’s is a good venue for singles looking to mingle at the bar.

Maninos is awesome great food great service... I was too hungry to take a picture of my dinner but it was excellent we had the Chicken and egg plant parmesan both were excellent. Then our appetizer of stuffed mushrooms and mozzetta balls was amazing. Also the dessert was out of this world. Great dinner great service. 10/10

Enjoyed a wonderful birthday dinner with my daughter on Sept 14. As usual, food was awesome and service from our waitress, Gianna was outstanding. Always enjoy the evening!

My husband and I love Maninnos. The food is the best and the staff is very friendly. We moved out of state and we always went to Manninos when we lived on Long Island. We came back home and now we go there. We love this place. It's the best. When we came back we asked for our waitress Annie that we always had there and they said she didn't come back after covid. She was so nice. We miss her.

Just enjoyed a surprise retirement party for a dear friend and I must say... Mannino's in Oakdale is an outstanding restaurant. The food is fabulous, the service is greater than top notch/A+, the atmosphere is wonderful, and the staff is incredibly helpful, friendly, and professional. I highly recommend Mannino's to everyone!

Had dinner here last night and it was perfect. We were seated right away and the service was exceptional from start to finish. Our server Sal was very attentive and very professional. Our food was prompt and delicious. Very pleased and will be going back again soon.

Despite not having gluten free notations on the menu, they were very knowledgeable and accommodating in preparation of dishes. The food, aside from the freshness of the shrimp cocktail, was very good. The vodka sauce was less vodka/tomato flavor and more cream which was a little bland. But it was still good. I'd go back and give it another go sometime.

Undeniably delicious. There are several locations, but we took the ride out to Oakdale as it's always been terrific. This trip was no different. Great food, excellent service, beautiful atmosphere. It's a trip worth taking!

Stopped by for a glass of wine, appetizer and salad. Food was delicious. The bartender Dena was fantastic, so friendly and charming. We will be back. Thank you Dena for an enjoyable afternoon.

Came in for my father’s birthday, everything was excellent!! The food was tasty and full of flavor. Jessica was our server and she was exceptional. If there is any critique, the music was played a bit too loud in the dining area. However, overall great experience, we will be back.
