Love! LOVE!! LOVE DR. HUNG!!! Talk about person-centered care!!!! My GP referred me to Dr. Hung for acute issues with my gallbladder. Dr. Hung and his nurse Lisa were both absolutely awesome!! They are kind, caring, intelligent, skilled, and wonderful human beings!! Dr. Hung listened and gave special attention to my personal concerns. I'm the person odd things seem to happen to, and in surgery, even before removing my gallbladder, Dr. Hung identified and successfully treated a second, very rare, potentially life-threatening medical condition that no tests ordered by 5 previous physicians had identified. I was back home a few hours later, on my feet a few days later, and able to celebrate Christmas with family rather than ending up in the hospital possibly fighting for my life. Dr. Hung, you gave me the best gift ever--health and more time with my girls! Thank you!!!!

Dr. Hung removed my faulty gallbladder recently and I am so glad that my PCP referred me to him! He is very kind, well-informed, and he relays information in a way that is easily digestible. He is also very patient and answers every question in full detail to ensure you get the information you are seeking. He was very thorough in the follow up and overall, I am very happy with my experience. I was not enthused about the idea of getting my gallbladder out at 26 (thanks, genetics!) but he made me feel comfortable with the procedure and, ultimately, I am SO glad that I went through with it. I feel like a million bucks now! Thanks to Dr. Hung and all of the great staff who made my experience so positive.

I went here for a year without being able to move my case forward. I ended up having emergency surgery with a Dr from here. I then paid my max out of pocket and kept receiving a bill from them. I called and verified with my insurance and their billing department that the bill was not owed. I then recieved a statement in the mail saying my account was delinquent and being sent to collections. The complete lack of professionalism and records in their billing department is a mess. I would recommend taking the extra time and going to Omaha for your medical needs.

Dr. Tabatabai surgically repaired my umbilical hernia – it’s very nice to have a “regular” belly button again! From the first time we met, I realized he’s a friendly, caring person, and he explained what he would do so I was clear what would happen during the surgery. The surgery went smoothly and I am happy with the results. At the follow-up a few weeks after the surgery, it was clear things healed up well and that I could get back to normal activities. Everyone I met at Surgical Associates has been friendly and easy to deal with, yet professional, and I would have Dr. Tabatabai do future surgery on me in a heartbeat.

Dr. Tabatabai and the rest of the staff were fantastic. Everything was communicated well with good follow-up so I always knew what to expect, and my recovery went better than expected. I would definitely use Dr. T and Surgical Associates again.

Dr. Tabatabai performed an inguinal hernia repair on me. I have had several abdominal surgeries in the past and Dr T was concerned about adhesions from these past surgeries and being able to do the surgery robotically. I had also had hernia repairs on both the right and left sides as a child (approx. 63 and 58 years ago). In my pre-surgical visit with Dr T, I expressed concerns about the left side also failing since the right side had failed again. Dr T said if he could do the surgery robotically, he would check both sides. Dr T was able to work around the past adhesions and perform the surgery robotically. He ended up repairing both the right and left sides with minimal incisions allowing for a much shorter and less painful recovery. Dr T is very courteous and polite. He took the time to explain the procedure to me and thoroughly answer all my questions. I highly recommend Dr Anthony Tabatabai.

I met Dr Anthony Tabatarai while in the emergency room with a Gall Bladder issue. He was very friendly and explained the procedure. He answered all my questions and actually listened to my concerns. He was very though! I went for my follow up after the surgery and he again listened to how I was feeling. I felt like he was truly concerned. I would recommend him to all my friends and family.

Wonderful from the first time I walked in, Dr. Tabatabi and his nurse Jess are awesome. Dr. T extends his hand to greet you every time and Jess always has a smile and a warm greeting. I hope I never have a need but would 100% got to THEM if needed.
