This place is an incredible hidden gem. We were staying near the airport and popped by on our way out of town and oh my goodness I want to go back so bad. Such a varied selection of pastries, plus the biggest, best cinnamon rolls you will ever eat. “One” is basically the size of 2 rolls, and the bottom of the tin is covered in extra cinnamon sugar buttery goodness. My husband also tried a danish and a scone, which were 10x better than a pastry you’d pick up at a coffee shop. Do yourself a favor and check this place out! Edit: It’s been almost a year and I can’t stop thinking about how good these cinnamon rolls are. That’s how incredible they are. That’s how much they’ll change your life.

I like the place, first time there. I picked chocolate croissant and cherry danish. Both were great! I didn’t realize they have coffee too, so next time will try that one. They also have different sorts of 🥧 pies and brownies. Just keep in mind, place open till 2.00 pm

Lovely place! Had a delicious Denver quiche and a tasty breakfast sandwich. The famous cinnamon rolls are also very good, especially with a quick dip in their fresh brewed coffee. We devoured it all very quickly.

I have visited and ordered multiple times! Quiche amazing! Cinnamon rolls- ugh drool. And the varied goodies that change daily in the glass case…. Everything is so good!!! Can’t wait to try the soups and their new additions.

Amazing! We found this little gem on our way out of KC after a weekend of adventures with the kiddos and it did not disappoint! The only struggle was trying decide on what to try when it all looked amazing! We tried a variety and brought some home!....The apple fritters and cinnamon rolls were fantastic, the kids had to try the homemade pop tart and a blueberry cake donut!...I had the denver quiche, hubby tried the kosher cheddar dog roll (both delicious)...and our son had the hot ham and cheddar sandwich! We will definitely be back next time we make it down this way from Nebraska!

We love Anita’s Bakery! Found her shop when searching for cinnamon rolls one day. Now my husband and I go at least once a week. Best breakfast sandwiches and pastries. You can also get lunch sandwiches and soups. So many yummy options!

Amazing homemade rolls and bakery goods. The danishes and croissants are my favorite! I also love their box lunches- comes with hand shaved boats head meat with cheese on a homemade roll, with the best pickles and chips I’ve ever had! I love the variety too. She also makes awesome soups from scratch that switch up every day and taste so good!

I absolutely love Anita’s!!! Her cinnamon rolls are incredible! I love bringing my daughter to the bakery to pick out a special treat. Anita makes the experience so special! Go visit this gem of a bakery. I’ll eat her soups even in the summertime.. they are that delicious! Love love love this place!

An absolutely gem of Kansas City, Anita’s is a must stop no matter who you are. The staff is down to earth, welcoming, and overall treats you like family. My dad has eaten at Anita’s pretty much everyday since he discovered it. The food is as good as the wonderful service that Anita and her staff provides. If I could give 10/5 stars I absolutely would without hesitation.

Anita’s made some of the best rolls I have had in a long time. It was perfect with my tomato basil soup which was thick and creamy. I haven’t had tomatoes soup that tasty in years. Shoot I would have added a picture but I devoured that lunch as quickly as I could smell it.

I stop in at Anita's often for lunch because she serves delicious soups, but on this day, I picked up a whole quiche and pecan rolls. It was fantastic!! You can't go wrong with the baked goods, the soups, or the quiche.

Limited gluten free selection which was kept frozen. I did dry the cup cakes which came 4 to the pack 2 chocolate & 2 vanilla. The vanilla was actually pretty decent and I enjoyed it however the chocolate was a miss the frosting was OK but the cake itself was just dry and grainy like eating chocolate flavored sand.

There is so much to like about this place! The cinnamon rolls are amazing. The dark chocolate chip pecan cookies are my personal favorite cookie. The homemade pop tarts and blueberry scones are amazing as well. It's definitely worth a visit.
