Right in front of the Parks and Rec building is the perfect slope for having a picnic and watching boats on the lake. There are even permanent fixtures for barbecuing if that's what you'd like to do.

Great facilities and hosts at Jacomo Campground, Jacomo Marina, Missouri Town 1855 and Native Hoofed Animal Enclosure. We've really enjoyed our stay here.

Do not feed the elk and bison, the carp you can feed. Main reasons to go to the park.

Fleming Park/Lake Jacomo is my favorite spot in Jackson County to spend time by the water. There are amazing sunsets and usually a nice variety people in the area. Sadly, people tend to litter and I often find myself picking up trash off the shoreline. It would be nice if people didnt treat the world like their trash can, and since they do, maybe the county could put an additional can or two out and have someone empty them before dusk each evening.

Pretty, dog friendly, no one else around every time we've visited the lake. Nice views and you can see geese, ducks and other birds around.

A really diverse area with tons of different ecosystems and areas! The native hoofed wildlife area was always fun as a kid, as were the surrounding ponds. The wetlands are one of my favorite areas, with tons of turtles and aquatic life even in the cold of winter. The lake itself is home to a slew of animals, with cricket frogs even making an appearance on rocky beaches. The dam is also a semi-arid area, with people often seeing warmth-loving collared lizards there in the warmer months! Can't wait to go back during spring!

It's super fun to go out paddling on the lake. Most of the time the water is calm and easy to relax on. There is also enough space for a lot of people to be there and it not be crowded.

Wonderful and helpful staff was able to quickly help us rent a mooring ball for a new sailboat purchase. They were professional and proficient and knowledgeable, and has convient weekend hours. I would recommend to anyone interested in Lake Jacomo.

These lakes are outstanding, even just to tour the area from the car. The two bridges and other parking lots provide vistas over the water. There are some nature lookout points that were closed which we will return to. I don’t know what that old huge house is for.

Came here for a family gathering. The picnic tables and grill were nice. The playground equipment was great for the kids. Actual bathrooms with running water would be a welcome improvement, but the porta potties were adequate. Would recommend if you're looking for a place to have a get together with a decent number of people.

Got my kayak passes no issues. I mean, they do a good job of keeping the lake clean and my family enjoys our time on the water.

Great place for a graduation party! The only thing I would recommend is more signs showing the shelter numbers. Everything was clean. Wonderful day!

This was my first time here. We went out on our friends Pontoon. It was a very beautiful place that is well upkept. Didn't see any trash just laying around and the staff was extremely friendly. I will definitely be back here

We only walked a part of the park near Jomoco State Park. Very quiet and relaxing. The grass was cut but the weeds along the sidewalk and water desperately needed tending.

If you don't have a boat don't even try unless it bass . Most fishing is better at this lake only if you have a boat .

Hands down the biggest rip off! I had some warranty work done to my boat and when I got it back from the factory in Arkansas all my stickers were gone. Registration and Jackson county lakes sticker. I have a bank statement showing we payed the 180 dollars on March 26, 2022, and they tell me without the old sticker they can’t replace it! Why would I need it replaced if I had the old sticker? They claim that people will take them and give to their buddies and claim the lost it. So since some people are dishonest it ruins it for everyone. Then they had the audacity to say well they are half price now so that’s a plus! They already took me for 180 and now they want another 90. RIDICULES

I go sailboating/kayaking here and it's always a good time! The water is some of the cleanest in Missouri and the people at the sailboat cove are some of the best people. The lake is surrounded by trees and there is a variety of wildlife. No sharks of course lol. The only thing is, is you cannot swim unless you of a boat and only small motors are allowed on the lake.

This is a very good county r v park. Good sites with lots of space. All most are premium with full cement pads, picnic tables & grills for fire pit / cooking. Very easy access to K.C. they are always busy, has a friendly staff. A great playground for kids.
