👍👍 We enjoyed this nice campground. We were in site 51 and it was more than adequate for our 44’ class a with toad easily parked in front. We had full hookups including sewer and 50 amp. We were here when temps were pushing 100+ every day. It was about 30 minutes from U.M.K.C. Where our son teaches. W... Very nice place to camp. Was really quiet. Had showers, bathroom, laundry room. Now we was washing cloths and then seen the dryers wasn't working. Don't know how long they have been out for . We had lot 47. Had some shade. The tree hangs really low over the fire pit. But we did have a small fire no problems. $7 a bundle of wood

This is our second time here and we love it. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The spaces are level and wide. We chose are spot with full hookups and it was only $30 a night! The shower facilities were very clean and well maintained.

We enjoyed this nice campground. We were in site 51 and it was more than adequate for our 44’ class a with toad easily parked in front. We had full hookups including sewer and 50 amp. We were here when temps were pushing 100+ every day. It was about 30 minutes from U.M.K.C. Where our son teaches. We did not use but did visit a kids playground and the swim lake as our grandkids might visit on a return trip.

Wonderful employees work here and everything is chill and laid back and perfect for getting away. Some people have trouble with the road and lake noise that you can hear, but I don't mind a little white noise. Clean bathrooms free of most bugs, which is rare for most camp grounds. There are two parks nearby that the girls loved as well, and plenty of fishing spots. Overall a win for me.

The RV sites are nice clean & spacious. As for the people that work there, that's a different story. 2 of the 3 people we encountered were very rude, demanding, argumentative & snippy. The 3rd person was nice, friendly & helpful. So other than the 2 unpleasant people we encountered it was a nice place to stay.

The grounds are quiet, safe, and well managed. Great freeway access and close to everything...groceries, entertainment, restaurants. Great bathhouse size and cleanliness. Camping neighbors were friendly and respectful. There were a lot of lights on at night which made it harder to see stars.

Clean campground and bathrooms and friendly hosts. Have stayed twice and will again. For us, it's close to home and a quiet getaway. Good campground to walk and grass kept cut. I do wish there were more trees; it is not as shaded or 'woodsy' as other places, such as Truman Lake. So, we go knowing it is clean and serves its purpose. :- )

Host and other campers very friendly. It was a good location for us to easily access the Truman Presidential Library and the WWI museum. Camping sites are nicely spaced out and there are mature trees.

We're locals but wanted to try out a really close to home campground when the diesel prices were $5+. The campground is nice and the grass was well kept - we just wish it was close to the water. When we were there the swim beach was closed - I don't know why. Decent place to stop if you're traveling through but doesn't have the amenities of a state park. Also they 'make' you buy the firewood from them - it's very expensive though. The people working weren't rude but they weren't friendly either. I don't like having to enter a gate code but I guess that helps contribute to the park being clean?

Really good campground with decent pricing and excellent customer service at the gate. We were in site 36, concreted pull through, full hook up site. Front to back level was spot on, but the side to side was slightly sloped to the passenger side. Decent shade and well manicured facility. Only issue was the occasional sewer smell that would come through the site.

Great place!!! They have a volleyball net, so bring your ball. We did, there were 3 of us and we had 4 other kids come out and play with us! It was so much fun!!!! There is a fishing pond just outside of the campground as well as a fun LS park with a short walking trail. The campground also has a playground, but on the opposite side that we were. Enjoy!!!!!!

COE constructed with gravel and paved sites. Sites are small and not level. The park is clean and camp hosts are professional.

Nice shady, level lots, easy to back into. Access close to highway and restaurants. We stayed one night with 30amp electricity since the night before was boondocking.

I spontaneously decided to go camping and this place was very beginner friendly. There’re stars, trails, lakes, and running water! I really enjoyed my time here. The sunrise is worth losing sleep for.

Always enjoy the peacefulness we get when camping here. The campsites are spaced out, and it's a very relaxing and well kept campground

Premium site. $48 per night full hookup pull through site with concrete pad. Good size sites. No wi-fi and no cable tv. Some over air channels available on antenns. Sight could have been more level. Could use a few more amenities Quiet well maintained park. Friendly park hosts.

The camp hosts need courtesy classes. Very rude man and his wife, assuming they were married. Not everyone is capable of being good hosts which puts a damper on the experience. Hopefully they were having a single bad day and choose to take it out on us, as it was my daughter and me. I guess we were easy targets for their bullying.

This was our 4th time at Blue Springs Lake Campground. It's a great campground that's why we keep coming back. The attendants are very friendly and helpful. All the camping spots are spaced out so your not on top of each other. Plenty of space. My wife and I spent 2 nights and 3 days there. The temps were perfect. We lit the firepit it was a great time. I wanted to give a great review of this campground. Many people leave bad reviews because of something small. Every time we have stayed there we have a great time. We couldnt think of anything that went wrong. We will be back. This our favorite campground that we have been to. Thank you for the great hospitality you gave us. Mike and Marcia White.
