I have tried several items on their menu and loved everything I have tasted. Great spot for a traditional or more healthy-minded breakfast.

This morning was another great experience with eating at First Watch. I always get the Pesto Chicken Power Bowl. Someday, I’d love the recipe. I also love that they have Gluten-free bread now. This location had a newer vibe. It was really enjoyable.

Healthy, quality, good options and great service! I love that you can get breakfast here and that they do such a good job making it healthy and original! Highly recommend the Barbacoa tacos.

We had breakfast here 8-8-21. Covid is on the rise. We ate out in the patio, and it was GREAT!! The Million Dollar bacon is a treat. ( I prefer bacon real crispy) The ricotta pancakes with lemon curd and strawberries was beyond good😋. Our server was wonderful, I really wish I knew her name. She came to the table several times to check on us and left the water so we were able to refill our water glasses. I will definitely return to the B.S. location. Thanks for Great Service

This is one of my favorite restaurants! The menu has a little bit of everything so it is easy to go with family and friends with concern that someone won't be able to find something. I go here regularly for brunch, the whole family loves the food - even my teenagers. There are items on the menu that are gluten free or can be altered to be gluten free. I highly recommend you sign up online for the wait list before heading to the restaurant, otherwise weekend wait times can be up to 30mins. We always sign up online prior to leaving the house and typically wait about 5-10mins once checked-in.

Always fresh, healthy and delicious meals with friendly service. The menu includes several healthy and vegetarian options. Great place for meeting with small groups. Expect to pay a bit more here for your food, but worth it for a treat now and then.

My boys and I visited First Watch on Saturday November 25th. It was extremely busy and the staff handled it very well. We were waiting to be seated in Colby Section but she was in the weeds with 3 big top tables. We salt in another servers section . She is a great person and superb customers service. Colby handled her section exceptionally well!! When you enter the doors of First Watch you get that Warm & Cozy Family Home Vibe. The staff provides a Smile with Great service! The Food is Amazing!! Thank You First Watch Staff!! Happy Holidays!!

We enjoyed being served by Jenna and it had been several visits since we were seated in her section. She is fast, friendly, and efficient! Peyton brought our food to the table and she always has a nice smile and personality. Jenna and Peyton are some of your star servers (and there are others!) For over a year of almost weekly visits, I once again ordered the Works omelet and wife had the ham and gruyere omelet. Always yummy and filing. She used her birthday reward coupon and we thank you for sending that. I'm waiting to use mine in the next visit. We wouldn't consider eating breakfast anywhere else in Blue Springs and Independence than First Watch. Always our first choice.

My first visit here did not disappoint. I enjoyed a breakfast skillet & a carrot cake pancake. Coffee was good, service was great. Price about average.

This is a great place if you want something outside the "normal" breakfast foods (although they have normal too). I had a smoked salmon fritatta and side of fried potatoes. It was very good. The service is great and they have outdoor seating. The coffee is good too.

I absolutely love this place! The food was amazing and beautiful. Our waitress was so nice too, very quick service and decently priced food for how yummy it is !!!

When I arrived, there was a line at the checkout. The worker worked her way through the line without acknowledging me as I stood there. I was seated at a table near the main corridor to all the sections. The center of the table was darker brown than the rest of the table and sticky. I dont believe it was dirty, just the finish of the table becoming tacky. The cups came off the table with an audible sticky click, and you could see the rings and ridges in it. The Napkins barely came off without ripping. The server took our drink order and came back fairly quickly. We asked for a few minutes to go over the menu. After we placed our orders, a single pancake and a dish seasoned with Tanjin, which wasn't that warm, but tasted amazing! We waited forever. No one checked on us or offered us refills. After a half hour or so, our food arrived, and it was barely warm. Other than temperature, the food was pretty good. As I was eating and trying to chase my food down with coffee, I realized I never recieved water. When the server came by, I asked for water. It arrived promptly. I quickly drank two glasses. Then, upon refilling my glass a third time, I noticed something floating in it. I assumed it was a bit of backwash. My son and I both commented it was gross. Then, upon further inspection found the entire carafe had white bits floating in it and appeared a bit greasy. I placed both the glass and carafe on my empty plate. I let the server know there were bits floating in the water. I was given an apology and offered to go water or coffee. I kindly declined the offer. I paid for my meal and left no tip. This was my second time eating at this location and the first with any issue.

Im giving 5 stars in each category because of the waitress serving me that day. Haley is her name. The cooks forgot my meal, luckily remembered my kids but forgot mine. I did not say anything and just waited, she when learned what happened jumped on it. Haley went above and beyond in thoughtfulness and was more than fair to resolve the issue. I come here almost every weekend, treating family or business breakfast. If she did not go above and beyond that would have changed. Well done on hiring her First Watch, caring goes a long way.

Great food, great service! Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere overall was good, just a little loud. Million dollar bacon was perfectly cooked. Love the Strawberry Tres Leches French toast. Will definitely return if/when I am on the KC area again.

Had the salmon fritta and it was amazing. The kale tonic is absolutely my favorite drink there with the extra wellness shot. And of course the mimosas.

I ordered through DoorDash this morning. I’ve just recently moved here and it seems the restaurants in the area don’t view to-go customers as real customers & moreso a place to dump old food. I received rotten avocado and strawberries in my meal this morning. 4 of the 5/6 slices of avocado had not brown, but black spots riddling them. I would never serve those. Fruit cups should be checked or dated as the strawberry in mine was brown and rotting on top. Also not a huge deal but potatoes & onions could have been cooked a bit longer. The eggs and toast were the best part of the meal.

Great food, a little pricey but unique enough to be worth it.

The Food is always great. I have ordered many things of the menu all great. Their refresher drinks are the best.

A little disappointed today. They were a little late bringing my pick up order, which isn't a huge deal except it was cold. The biscuit was burned. They forgot to give gravy for the biscuit so I had to go back in and ask for it. Then got out to the car and realized there were no utensils in the bag. I was underwhelmed by the experience. The positives were that the fresh fruit and the mango drink were good.

This location is clean and has a good layout. Parking can be challenging to find close to their building on a busy weekend. My wife and I eat at First Watch locations throughout the area. The food is consistently good. Some locations have better floor plans than other locations.

I was in love with the atmosphere and aesthetics from the moment I stepped in the door. I made it known to the host and server it was my first time at a First Watch. They were very welcoming! They were also very helpful when prompted. I was toggling between the pumpkin pancake trifecta special or the lemon ricotta pancakes. I could not make up my mind. The server told me I could get one lemon instead of two pumpkin in the trifecta. I was sold! However, she failed to tell me it was a $2.50 up charge. 🤔 I would have been okay with it had she informed me, but I was a bit surprised when I received the check. 😲😠. - About the food, the menu description along with the attention to detail in the aesthetics made me think the food would have as much care and beauty. I’m sad to say, I was expecting much more from a description of “marinated berries”. From the description of the menu, I imagined more of a two berry blend with some sort of fancy mint or citrus marinade. Well, I received a few cut up strawberries marinated in plain sugar water 🙄. It wasn’t even the good saucy kind of sugar water! 😂. I asked about the marinade because I didn’t think they had anything on them at all! Perhaps they forgot to put it on? 🤷‍♀️..... nope, that was not the case. Over all, I think the atmosphere is wonderful, the service is great, but the food has something left to be desired in order to keep up with the rest of the brand. At $17 for one person, I will be saving this place for a very VERY special occasion at best.

First Watch gets busy on the weekends. Went online and added ourselves to the wait list, arrived and only had to wait a few minutes for a table. Enjoyed a morning mediation drink to help wake me up with some ginger and turmeric. Ordered the delicious, savory french toast that was grilled to perfection. Side order of potatoes that were perfectly cooked. Only downside was no Heinz 57 sauce for the potatoes. Waitress was very friendly and checked on us throughout our breakfast. Everything was super clean, tables and seats wiped down after every guest and mask on everyone.

Hadn't been to first watch in a while, but so glad to have gone back! The fall menu was super tasty and as always the staff was on point. One thing I noticed was the superb management! We had the pleasure of meeting Josh and he was great! Made sure everything was top notch even though we had no complaints. Love to see good leadership!

Great food! Classy atmosphere. It's not an IHOP, or Denny's. Not to say those aren't decent, but First Watch is more gourmet. They also use more unique and flavorful ingredients, vs the simple standards or other breakfast restaurants.

Have been here several times and each time is refreshing with great service, light meals perfect for breakfast or brunch and some healthy juice drinks. Always make sure to try and set up a breakfast / brunch meet here when I'm in town. Highly recommend...
