They didn't have Mozzarella sticks and they also didn't have pepper jack bites. We ordered a Nashville hot chicken sandwich DRYYYY and was OVER COOKED. HAD 2 bites and that was it... OVERALL it was a terrible experience.

Food is five star! Atmosphere is five star! Service is five star! Television sets are 10 stars! There are TVs everywhere!! Your booth even has its own personal one. Most were set on sports but there were other shows I could see. Lots of Bloopers and animal shows too. I had a hamburger that was delicious. My husband had the tenderloin that he said was very good. We both chose the side option of fries/onion rings combo. Both were tasty but I preferred the onion rings. They were spectacular! The building is fairly large with lots of seating. We were there for lunch, but I would imagine when the place is full it is also loud. They do have a very nice outside dining area. I believe I saw four televisions out there even. The bar seating was large and nicely arranged. The only downside that we could see is the road to get there and leave. You will get tangled up with the traffic going to Price Chopper. We wanted to go north on 7 hwy which forced us to go through the Price Chopper parking lot. But don't let that stop you. We plan on eating here quite often and would highly recommend it!

Normally I like going to Johnny’s, but this night my friends and I went for music bingo, and it was not fun. The music they played would skip every other song and it was so annoying! Especially when we like to sing along! Also the host was boring and acted like she didn’t want to be there. We’ve been to other music bingo shows where the host was interactive and walked around and talked to people and made it fun! Not here 😔 What a shame!

This place used to be great. Waited ten minutes for our waitress. She never showed. Eventually, another waitress came by and took our drink order. Saw the beer sitting at the bar for another ten minutes. Eventually, someone else brought it to me. Waitress eventually showed up. Took our order. When the food came, we didn't get the condiments. Waited ten more minutes. She showed up and we asked her to bring them. She brought the wrong ones and booked it away. Waited another ten or so minutes...got her attention, then she brought the right ones. Finally, time to enjoy some cold food and hot beer. Come time for her tip, she hovered over us like a hawk...weird.

Terrible service! Waitress was more concerned with making out with some guy at the bar. Had to get her attention to order, to get our drinks and to get our bill which she didn't even print off a receipt she just showed us our total on her handheld. Will not be going back anytime soon!

I’ve had Johnnys a few times and it’s been really good. However, the last two times I’ve had food from here via takeout or delivery the order has been messed up, food tastes off, or looks like it was thrown together by a toddler playing kitchen with play-doh. For example, the cookie we ordered for dessert tastes like they didn’t add sugar to it at all and our wrap was more like a tossed salad on a tortilla plate! C’mon Johnnys. Do better. You’re better than this

Megan was excellent! Prompt service, knowledgeable of menu options food & drink! Food was great, served in a timely fashion, well presented and prefect portions. Friendly & Courteous staff!

Food was great! Had the Wilson's Wings and the club for my wife. Service was on point and never left me thirsty for more beer. Only knock I could give it...bottles and tables a little sticky but it's a tavern with wings! Still much better than BBWs!

We have been there before and the food is very good. I got an order of nine very blackened shrimp along with half and half seasoned fries and regular fries. The fries were supposed to substitute for the cold slaw but I received the cold slaw too. There were also hush puppies that came along with the meal. I ordered my shrimp EXTRA EXTRA blackened to where I could see the black. They had some black on them and I didn't say anything about that I had ordered them blackened a bit more. When our waiter came over he brought me the blackening seasoning in a cup that I could add to my shrimp. He also asked if I wanted to send them to be put back on the grill for more blackening. I said no. Normally I would have sent them back. It was something he paid attention to and that I deeply value the little things, although important, it means a lot when your waiter/waitress pays attention to you/me specifically at that moment. The bar area where we sat was very busy and he had quite a few other customers. I thought that he went above from the first time we were there when he had waited on us.

Hostess greated us when we walked in. Waitress was fantastic and very attentive! My special, Reuben sandwich was fabulous. My friend wasn't thrilled about chicken wrap. Waitress made it right. Very nice and clean place. And bathroom was very clean also.

Had a decent dinner here. Food was good and decent happy hour specials. They have specials every day which is nice

Service when first arrived was nonexistent. Sign at hostess stand said wait to be seated, stood there for literally 5 min. Waitress walked from back and turned around to avoid us, 3 people working the bar just standing there. When we noticed we had been acknowledged a few times and never approached, we moved to the bar. Just stared and never helped! Had to catch a passing by waitress to seat us and take order. Waitress was nice, food came fast, but then service was nonexistent again when I was trying to get drinks and ask for a check. It took longer to wait for check than it did to get our food. Still didn't get the drinks. Wasn't charged but wasn't received either.

Just happened to be in Blue Springs doing some shopping and decided to stop for lunch, the selection was awesome. We ordered pepper jack bites that were amazing, the chicken strips were good and the fries were even better! Will definitely be back!

Ordered appetizers. Waited and waited and finally got our own plates. Finally got silverware after asking 3 times. One of our group had salad dressing dropped on her back as the server went by. Food delivery and accuracy was a joke. Most were finished eating by the time the last person got their food. In all fairness there were 15 of us and that was probably too much for 1 server. We have eaten there many times so we will go back but not ever again with more than 4.

Absolutely amazing. Their boneless wings are the best. Also their espinaca is really good. I love how each booth has a TV and the vibe always is amazing. Their service is great. Would recommend!!

Excellent food. The service is so good and the servers are always pleasant. Came in there on my Birthday and the waitress wrote Happy Birthday on my doggie bag. Great prices Too

1st time at this location. The best service at any area Johnnys we’ve been to. Dance was amazing, very personable and efficient. The brussel sprouts/cauliflower appetizer was quite good. It could have used more cauliflower for a more equitable split. My husband had the wings, said they were very good. I had pizza, I would have preferred the crust to have been more “done”. Plenty of parking. Fairly clean bathrooms. Lots of TVs to watch football. We will be back due ti Dance and his exceptional service.

Took my daughter and grandchildren out for lunch it was my daughter's birthday and she chose this place and I knew she likes going there so I thought I would give it a shot. I had a French dip it was very good. And my daughter and granddaughter had buffalo chicken sandwich My daughter gave me a bite and it was incredible. And my 2-year-old granddaughter had pizza and fries. I highly recommend this place it's very good and the weight staff is very helpful

First time we ordered from here. Sadly I don't think we will again. We ordered the French dip. Which would have been perfect if they would have given us the Au jus but they didn't. So I had to eat a sandwich that's dry... but flavor was great. We also order the Pretzels. With disappointment they were hard as a rock. You couldn't even bite into them. And they also didn't give us the cheese sauce that goes with it. We felt like our money went down the drain. Giving 2 stars because we also got the burger which wasn't too bad and the fries weren't bad.

Not what I expected for an $80 bill. There were two adults and a child. The food was “ok” I suppose. Nothing to write home about. Just your typical bar food. What was the most disturbing however were the flies that continued to buzz around our food until one took a nose dive into the ketchup on our plate. It was there where he was ultimately put out of his misery and ruined our lunch. I wasn’t so bad until my daughter said she visited again at a friends request and had a repeat performance of the flies only this time killing it on her arm. I can’t imagine what’s buzzing around in the kitchen where they are actually preparing this overpriced bar food???? YUK never again.

Our server Kevin was hysterical, personable, and speedy! 10/10 employee. As a Lawrence native it was cool to see Johnny’s out in Blue Springs. The food was good, the drinks though… definitely light on the pour.

Very professional and friendly staff! Brought my Dalmatian service dog in and they loved her so much. My son's 15th birthday was a blast here at Johnny's Tavern. The Chiefs Superbowl Champion Parade was pretty cool to! #GOCHIEFS

my wife and I have been to this place 3 times now and we ABSOLUTELY enjoy going there great food selection the staff are Fantastic and if you are looking for beers after a long day or week LOOK NO FURTHER. The atmosphere is great and I definitely would and have taken my kids. That being said...as with any bar/slash tavern be cautious with the little folks on Fridays and Saturdays after 9......the fun adult crowd comes in but still not that bad.....TRY IT YOU WILL LIKE IT Ohhhhhhh and the FOOD IS GREATTTT......LOLOLOL.

Will definitely come back. Came to Christmas shop from out of town and picked this place and the reviews are true! Foods excellent and the service was on point! The drinks selection and quality was great as well 10 out of 10

My wife and I went here after we dropped our daughter off to meet with friends. We went there to watch the rest of the football games for the evening. The reviews were correct. There are television screens everywhere, even the restrooms, so you do not miss a play. Our food was great and the wait staff was great.

2nd half of a first date and I want to express my gratitude to the waitress who worked Saturday afternoon on Aug 27th she was patient and attentive to the two goofballs that sat there from 4 till late. You helped make a date great! Even though we only ordered tea it was the best! Thank you soo much!

Usually, takeout is on time and good. However the past 2 times its taken much longer (estimated wait was 25minutes - took over 45 minutes) and the food quality was poor at best. Kids macaroni is just Kraft macroni, Buffalo chicken was super tough, mediocre burger. Fries were good - albeit had to throw in air fryer to recrisp. Quality of take out can pretty easily make or break a night.

Tasty appetizer, nice servers Even though the Bloody Mary doesn’t come with celery, pickles or olives, the server got some for me. Thank you.

Great place for good food & conversation with friends. We when on a Thursday for bogo burger. The burger was cooked perfect & tasted great. And cold beer to top it off. Will be back again.

Pretty cool bar and outdoor patio area. The service was amazing even though we showed up in the middle of a shift change there was no hiccups with service. Food was typical American bar food. Not fantastic but still good.

Staff is great! General Manager is a nightmare! Simple question, “You filled growlers 2 weeks ago and now it’s a problem”. Either you fill them or you don’t! Make up you mind and don’t treat me like a criminal! She is horrible and lacks all customer service. I have spent hundreds of dollars at this location, but never again!

Food was good, deep fried pickles were a little salty and the tenderloin was tough. Clean bathrooms and dining area. The staff were super nice, good about making sure we had drinks even though they were busy.

Have a great variety of food. You can get a little bit of everything here! From Pizza with all kinds of toppings to street tacos, salads, burgers, sandwiches and way more! They have great drinks too! You can sit outside too!
