Very small, but very quaint. Loved it 😍 surprisingly fast for the amount of tables. One recommendation to the chef/owner… the house dressing is a bit on the sweet side. Otherwise delicious 🤤 my new favorite hibachi!!!

Great Experience and Great hot food! The spicy crabmeat salad has a great spice to it bet it is not overly spicy. Will definitely go back!

Absolutely love this place. Hands down the best sushi around. Visit a couple times a month. Leo, the owner, is always hospitable and will take time to welcome you regardless of how busy they are...

I ordered the hot green tea and was given just the one cup of it. A little pot/kettle for refills would have been nice. The tempura had vegetables that were cut too thick so the veggies (such as sweet potatoes) were not cooked enough-somewhat hard in texture. I had ordered the tempura with shrimp, but there were only a few pieces of shrimp. The steak was not seasoned well. I had stomach issues that evening after eating. Good prices and no one else had stomach problems from my group.

Not good, not bad. It took us a few minutes to get seated while being stared at by the workers at the register. When seated, our waiter was friendly, but he made a lot of comments about what we were ordering. Oh you’re missing out. It doesn’t taste good that way and when we asked, can we have this he said I don’t know can you. He did forget our fried rice towards the end of our meal and the fried rice is just soy sauce and rice no veggies or anything kind of a ribeye for about four dollars. The Philadelphia Road did not have any avocado in it. They replace it with a cucumber. Would not come here again honestly.

The food was amazing.. it's a quaint spot that was very busy, but had a small wait time. I had the steak, chicken, and shrimp. Everything was cooked perfectly. Will be going back many times over.

The food was not good at all. It was very nasty. I ordered hibachi (shrimp and chicken), fried salmon sushi rolls along with crab rangoons. The portions were also very small. I had to throw the food away and grab something else for lunch. I don’t recommend.

Nice restaurant, and food was tasty, but not what it should have been. Ordered Shrimp Combo meal: shrimp, veggies, fried rice, and salad. Shrimp was great, but 1) veggies, described as "zucchini, onions, and broccoli " was just broccoli and very few small bits of onion. No zucchini at all. I don't like broccoli, so very disappointed. 2) fried rice was simply rice with soy sauce. No bits of egg or vegetables typically found in fried rice. 3) The salad was just lettuce with dressing. The lettuce was fresh and crisp, and the dressing was delicious. But lettuce and dressing is not a salad. That said, the dining room was nice, the service was efficient and friendly. I would eat here again if I could get the vegetables as advertised, but the next time if it's only broccoli I'm sending it back.

Personally I’ve been going here since they opened the first week and the portion use to be great and now it’s terrible they skip out a lot but I will say it’s great tasting! Plus prices went up.

I love sushi, but my wife doesn't. At Tokyo Grill, we can get the best sushi and tempanada grilled dishes for her. A calm, relaxed atmosphere and great food. I love it. Great value, too!

A very nice place to get a sushi dinner. It is quaint, as it is just a hole in a wall next to a grocery store. Hubby and I shared some sushi rolls and everyone else in our 8 person party got hibachi which they all enjoyed. Their birthday dish for our birthday girl was a very sweet touch and it made her feel extra special. I especially liked their fairy roll. Staff was friendly and gave us very quick service. Will done here again.

First time trying sushi, and it was amazing . I'm definitely trying some of the other rolls. The Tokyo grill was very clean with a tranquil atmosphere .

I asked specifically if they could separate the wasabi from the ginger for my pickup order but instead, they mashed them together for some reason. I had wasabi smothered ginger that was unusable. I don't know why they offer customers a chance to ask for specific directions if they don't care. The food is good but it ruins the meal if I can't have ginger and wasabi. I guess just dine in and don't order takeout. Unfortunate and disappointing.

The food is great, the people that work there are always nice as can be. Even my gripe, the guy that took my order was very friendly and sounded like he found a solution to what I was looking for. I used to order steak and veggies from here, all the time. It was my favorite comfort food where I didn't feel horrible for eating it. Now they started forcing the rice with it. I'll pay the price, because they've always put it in a separate container. Which I'm fine with. I asked for steak and veggies w/o the rice, but I'll pay for it if need be. The guy on the phone said he knows what he'll do, like he had some other idea. Right on! Unfortunately when I got home, my steak and veggie entre turned into a stake and veggie bowl with rice in the same container. To top it off, a salad I didn't ask for either and it seemed to be at a higher price then the entre. If it was the guy that took my order, he didn't listen to my order while I ordered it. If it was the buisness, then count me out. I'm wanting two things. Stop forcing more things on the order when I'm already taking home rice I won't eat. Very sad, food's great! Customer service is great! Justa smaller portion of what I want at a more expensive price, it's getting out of hand.

This place is absolutely amazing. The food was great, and we were served way quicker than I expected because they were packed. My mom (who is not the biggest fan of Japanese food) liked it a lot. She even tried some of my sushi! The teriyaki chicken is quite yummy. They don’t have a ton of vegan options but they do have some. My vegan brother also really liked his meal. Prices are normal and portions are good. Highly recommend.

Love going to this low key sushi place! The food is great, service is always super and the vibe is dark and laid back. It's definitely the best place for sushi in blue springs. Their hibachi steak is some of the best I've ever had, super tender and wonderfully cooked. We always get appetizers and they never disappoint.

This is a lovely little restaurant, and I've eaten here several times. It's my favorite for sushi in Blue Springs, though this time (note: one out of many) the fried part of my rock and roll tasted a little like the oil should have been changed. My seven year old ate a roll and a half of cucumber rolls and probably would have eaten all the crab Rangoon if we let her! Prices have definitely gone up lately, but that's true everywhere.

The bagel roll and spicy salmon are the best. And the portion sizes are perfect for the price.

Our first visit to the eatery with the food being very good and we will definitely be back to eat here again. I was even able to heat up my leftovers for lunch the next day and it was still tasty. Not the biggest fan of the broccoli which comes with the combo/dinner so next time I will be sure to ask for my meal without that (just not my liking but my daughter on the other hand loved it). Ginger is an extra charge so if you are calling in for a pick up order make sure you let them know that you would like a side of ginger otherwise you may not get any. Reasonably priced. They also have yum yum sauce..
