I can't describe how amazing the food was tonight from here. My husband and I wanted to order something different for dinner and then I suddenly remembered this place. I was like why not, the food is good and it's a locally owned business we can help support. My husband ordered the chicken, Mac n Cheese and Hush puppies. I ordered the Fried Fish with fried okra and fried creamy corn. You guys!!! It was AMAZING!!! The whole family loved it and our bellies and hearts are full. I highly recommend!!! We ordered our food to go and it tasted just as good as if we ate it there at the restaurant. Thank you guys for also being super kind and great people! Keep up the good work! 👍

This was one of the greatest places I've ever eaten at. The prices may seem expensive but the portions are HUGE. The customer service was INCREDIBLE. The restaurant clean and nice. I'll definitely be returning.

The owner served us and told us, he named it after his passed mother. He allowed us a sample of the smoked wings....AWESOME! I had the fish, smoked wings, corn nuggets, and mushrooms! All great!! Just a little pricey, but I'm coming back!

First time here and I got the smoked wings and corn nuggets. The corn nuggets were the best I've had by far! The smoked wings were awesome as well! I'm at work right now thinking I'm gonna need to stop in again after work.

So kind of a mixed bag here. Most of the food was good. My fish was great! The smoked wings were great! The okra was great! The mushroom breading was not fully cooked even though it looked done on the outside. And too much breading. For the macaroni and cheese the macaroni was not fully cooked. The soda dispenser only had two types to drink and was sad. The location is not really designed as a sit down place to eat and if we do eat there again we will carry out. I don’t know of anyplace where you can get better smoked wings or fried fish in Blue Springs. Give it a shot and see what you think.

Food is always good and serving sizes are plentiful. The owner is always professional and friendly along with the staff. This place has never let me down.

Like wings? Like them smoked? Well this is the place to go. They have the best smoked wings I've ever had. They have some great hot sauce too. The dude that works here is chill as heck

First time eatting here it was really good. We definitely want to try it again. We got the fried fish, hush puppies coleslaw/potato salad. Definitely recommend.

I ordered the fish, greens and fried corn nuggets. Everything was delicious but the greens were a bit too salty for me. I tried a fried chicken wing and it was scrumptious 😋 too! Great prices 👍🏽

The food is good (when they're open) and so is the food and hospitality. I would suggest calling ahead of time. I'm not sure if they're short staffed or not, but I've tried to order carry-out multiple times without calling ahead and they've been closed (for the last year or so) during business hours.

I ordered the fish and shrimp platter with two sides which were corn nuggets and mac and cheese, everything was good except for the mac and cheese, it had no cheese and it was made with cream of mushroom soup. I would go back but would not order that again. If the owner needs help please contact me because I am a chef and I can help out the business greatly. I am a supporter of black owner and black operated businesses

We moved to the area in June and have been looking for the best fish locally. We finally found it at Momma Ann’z! The owner & service was great - food was excellent, especially the catfish & cherry smoked wings! We will definitely be back. Thanks again!

Came through for the first time, D took great care of me, introduced me to a few sauces he had before I got my meal. Great service through and through, has a southern hearth and home feel from top to bottom. All this, before the incredible meal, which also waste’s no space in the takeout box. If you want a fairly priced combo that’s bursting at the seams, and has all the qualities of a perfected down-home meal, then stop searching, Momma Ann’z is where you should be headed.

This is an excellent place to eat. Authentic southern cooking catfish and shrimp. The greens are amazing, the potato salad is perfect, and my friend says the okra is melt in your mouth 👄. The only sad thing about this place... no breakfast.

My husband and I ordered dinner from here and it was really good! Everything was cooked wonderfully and had great flavor. Customer service was great, too. Both workers were friendly and offered suggestions as well as time to decide. We were very happy and will absolutely be back. Thanks for a great dinner!

Chicken wings had good flavor but were fried very hard. Some not edible. Green beans were tasty. Fries were good. Mac n cheese was OK. Not sure what kind fish that was. Fish was well seasoned but not so fresh. Overall, Nice portions. Not what I expected.

I've never been here before, came and I asked if the cashier felt comfortable with telling me what was good and he said "I'll do you one better I'll show you what's good!" He sold everything on their menu, as far as I'm concerned this smoked chicken wing is the best in town

The fish was good, but the macaroni was terrible…it tasted like water and cheap cheese. The greens and green beans were extremely spicy, and the chicken “wings” weren’t wings they were leg quarters. I wouldn’t recommend and I won’t return.

I got the fried chicken wings and the coleslaw and both were delicious and my husband got the fish and it was also amazing! I have never really liked tarter sauce, but I am happy I got it, it was the best tarter sauce I have ever had!

To say that food there is good is a complete understatement. I don’t think I even tasted wings so tender and flavorful. I would put them up against any wing spot in the state hands down. I will definitely be returning again.

The blackened fish was very good and so were the fried okra. The mac and cheese wasn't my favorite. Not very cheesy. I would definitely go back and try the fried fish and the wings! The desert looked amazing. If I hadn't just bought a bunt cake I would have tried the choice cake!

My family and I have been going for years always great food and welcoming environment. Personally have tried and loved almost everything on menu or stole it off a friends plate I bring to try

Gem of a restaurant hidden in Blue Springs, MO. We had fried fish, shrimp, red beans and rice, and Mac n cheese. Not a fancy place, 4 stars for the atmosphere, but the food is great. We will be back.

It was only my first time. I like to give places a couple of visits before reviewing, but this place was OK. I'm not a fan of seasoning after frying so the "magic dust" as some call it isn't a good thing for me. I was looking for more of that home fried chicken. It was good but missing that golden look.... it was a bit on the dark side.
