Food is excellent, and a variety of options, including Veal & seafood. The shrimp appetizer coupled with freshly baked rolls start us off every time. Ife never had a bad meal here. Underpriced for the quality.

After searching reviews on the Kc food Facebook page, it was recommended to come to this amazing restaurant! I am glad I took the opportunity to visit this fine establishment! I had the Trio which consists of ravioli, lasagna and cheese manicotti. I also had a side Caesar salad and side of Italian sausage. This entire meal was full of wonderful flavor, the food was fresh! The bread they give you before the meal was warm and fresh! The total was $26 plus tip and it was worth it! I couldn't wait to post this great review about this amazing family restaurant! I travel a lot and I'm very honest when leaving reviews. I recommend Tuscany's Italian Restaurant if you like really good fresh food, friendly staff and clean facilities this is a go to!!

First time here... Delightful dinner, began with crab stuffed mushroom caps and fresh, warm rolls with garlic and oil for dipping -- all fresh and tasty, flavorful but not too salty. Main entree's hot, fresh, generous portions, lobster stuffed ravioli with shrimp was perfect. Chocolate layer cake for dessert was decadent and more than enough for us to share. Pleasant, helpful server AND health and safety practices were observed, satisfying dining concerns. Would definitely recommend. Will return again next time in the KC area.

This was a new place for me and family to try while visiting my parents in Independence Mo. We ordered an appetizer of Fried Cheese Ravioli with marinara sauce. The Ravioli were light golden brown, AMD the marinara sauce was amazing. I give it a 10 on an 1-10 scale. I cannot say enough to describe it and do it justice, JUST GET IT and see fornyourself. I ordered the Sicilian Marsala, and it did jot disappoint. Earthy robust flavors from the mushrooms, wine and garlic sauce, 6 medium shrimp AMD the tender succulent veal was just perfect. My wife had the Chicken Picatta and OH MY, was it delightful! Every bite you could taste the layers of Garlic, wine, lemon. It made a very bright AMD delicious sauce. Chicken was cooked to perfection!! Not a single dry or overcooked bite. My mom got their Tour Of Italy, which comprised of Fettuccini Alfredo, a nice piece of Lasagna, and also a Chicken Parmesan. All three items were so delicious, that I've already chosen it to order the next time we go there for dinner. Only issue we had was service was a bit slow from the kitchen, but to no fault of the establishment. They had a cook decide he wanted to walk out mid shift and not come back. The head Chef came out to apologize to is profusely and made sure everything was ok with our food(as we were 1 of 3 tables left in the dining room). The coffee was so good I asked to know what brand it was and the head Chef GAVE me coffee to take home. My wife pulled out her wallet to pay for it, and he Respectfully and kindly made her put her wallet away and refused to take any money for it. Ladies and Gents, I highly recommend Tuscany's for family dinners. The staff is great, the establishment is clean, cozy and delightful. Cost per person os very reasonable, and the portions served are more than I expected, as I'm a largeish fellow(6ft 1in, 295lbs) and can put some food away, I could not eat all my dinner. THANK YOU CHEF for your graciousness and delicious food. We will be coming back again very soon!!

Was very hot upon getting our food, food was yummy, but the amount of butter/ grease made it unappetizing. Used paper towels to absorb. Tails were left on in shrimp Alfredo, didn’t know if that was normal. Stuffed pizza was yummy and rolls! Leftovers heated up well, but again had to absorb more butter/ oil.

Wow, just wow. The food was great, very tasty, and a great value. Honestly, the only complaint would be that the soft drink choices are lacking. The bathrooms were clean, as was the restaurant, and the atmosphere was soft and comfortable. Let's talk about the food. Great rich flavors with perfectly textured pasta and the bread. Man, it all was great. So much, we went back two days later. Just stop in and enjoy dinner or lunch. It's a great choice.

First impression the decor was fun. The hostess got us seated very quickly and the waitress was nice and understood her table. Service was great and the food was delivered to the table with great presentation. Bread was fresh and hot and perfectly crispy on the top and soft in the center and not doughy. For the meal I had the Chicken Diavolo. The sauce hit with a kiss of sweetness and popped with a spice that gave a nice tingle to the palette. The pasta cooked perfectly And the chicken was cooked through and was moist. I really enjoyed the meal and the experience as a whole. Will be back many times Great job!

We ate at Tuscany’s for the first time yesterday and really enjoyed it. Great service and friendly staff. Our server, Trinity, was efficient in ensuring all of her tables were well taken care of. We started with the memorable Fresh Mozzarella Caprese appetizer; the capers added a special touch. Tuscany’s version of my favorite pasta dish, manicotti, featured a rich and savory red sauce and generous amounts of mozzarella and ricotta. I sampled my husband’s chicken Palermo and was impressed with the flavorful yet light cream sauce. Very enjoyable experience and I look forward to a return visit.

We came in late after a day on the road and found an Italian restaurant that was open late. Everything was great, authentic food, great service and the atmosphere. I was a little apprehensive because there was no one else in the parking lot or inside but it was amazing. The owner served us and was so personable and welcoming. If I lived in this community this would be my favorite local place to eat.

Fried ravioli was crispy and tender. Pasta was done correctly, not soggy. The server was attentive and patient. Main dishes were served piping hot. Atmosphere was delightful with traditional music, subdued lighting, and old-world themed wall treatments. If they had white tablecloths, I would give fives all around.

This is my daughter's favorite place to go out to eat. She loves the fried ravioli and pink lemonade. The food is delicious and the wait staff is remarkably kind and attentive. During Christmas, they had a tree with little presents for the kids who came in. The owner (I assume?) always comes out and makes a big deal about saying hello to my daughter. He always addresses her as 'Little Princess' and she absolutely loves it. It's a comfortable little neighborhood restaurant with a great atmosphere, delicious food, and thoughtful people working there.

I love good food and when I find the best food I want to share it. This is hands down the best Italian food I've had in my adult life.. The owner is the chef and his entire staff is amazing. He makes all your food exactly to your specifications and it is delicious. The prices are very normal for a dinner place And apparently every Wednesday it's half price wine and appetizers from opening to close. There were families couples and people of all ages and the atmosphere is very calm And Given the fact that I am a giant dork and they were so nice to me I will definitely go back

Food was amazing. Large portions and tasted so good. The garlic bread that they bring to start with, came out warm and soft. Server was attentive and had a great attitude. Would definitely recommend and will be returning soon!

This was a mediocre experience, sadly. The bread they brought out was cold and stiff. I requested light sauce on my pizza; was told my Anna they don't over sauce the pizza, so she didn't even bother to ask for light sauce. It came out with far too much sauce so I requested it be remade. (Very good cheese pizza, and calzone, though there was far too much unseasoned ricotta!) The bowl in the photos I posted is their alla Panna sauce. We've never been here before, so we asked to try a small sample of it to just taste. Not only did they charge us ($3) for the small amount that they brought, but it tasted like SpaghettiOs.... Anna, the waitress, also didn't seem to really have any answers for any of our questions. It being our first time there, we had questions about what her favorite things are, or how something tastes, but it was always "oh, it tastes good! It's better than anything else I have had." This really doesn't help someone choose what they might like to eat. Overall a very underwhelming and disappointing experience.

The food was excellent and the service was good. I'd definitely recommend this place. We came in Tuesday night and they were pretty slow. I'm not sure why they weren't busier as I really enjoyed this place.

We just moved to this area and came in for dinner. the caprese was so good we ordered a second one. I’m typically not a fan of toasted ravioli, there’s are good! We ordered fettuccini Alfredo for the baby, it was probably the best I’ve ever tasted. I know what I’m ordering when we go back. I had eggplant Parmesan it was very good. My son and husband had the chicken Jerusalem, they both said it was delicious. My daughter in law had the ravioli, again a hit. Then bread and dipping oil/herbs are a nice touch. Drinks were never empty. Parking out front. A wide selection on the menu. Big portions. Will save room for dessert next time.

The of us went to eat. We're told the kitchen was backed up, it would be 15 minutes before we could order. Fine, can we have a table? No. Fine can we sit at the bar? No, we can call you when ready. Fine, well go somewhere else. The place wasn't busy, less than half full. Will never go back.

I brought my friend from out of town and our girls here and it was my first visit as well. We ordered: toasted ravioli, side salads, tortellini, I don’t recall the last dishes name- I think it was the combo pasta, and the cannoli We received: bread/rolls and oil with capers and seasoning My only complaints: I feel the oil could use some more flavor (I hate to compare it but Anthony’s oil is way better and maybe expecting that type of flavor in the oil is why it was so different). And my toasted ravioli came to the table very light in my opinion (however they tasted very good) The combo pasta has manicotti, lasagna, and a ravioli on a bed of pasta and we chose the alla panna (sp??) which is the Alfredo and marinara mixed sauce. The sauce is definitely YUMMY. However I can’t say I would get that dish again on my own (I shared it with my daughter). The side salad was good and the toasted ravioli I would get again and ask for them to be a bit darker. My friend and her daughter had the tortellini, side salad and cannoli and said she would get it all again. Our server was aware of the menu and made suggestions which is always helpful and appreciated. I would definitely return.

Family friendly and quiet atmosphere. Enjoyed food and hubby loved the wine. My daughter is vegan which she was able to enjoy a meal. They were very accommodating on making her meal plant based. Second visit and will return.

Bread - soft with lots of garlic. Not warm. Calamari- it was okay. Nothing special to write about. Luke warm. Baked Ziti with Italian sausage- Entire dish was luke warm. Sausage is not very flavorful- also a $4 up charge. Sauce was just meh. Overall the dish was mediocre. Chicken Palermo- Entire dish cold. Chicken is extremely flat/salty. Sauce was was meh. My husband tried mine and said it was “disgusting and colder than mine.” Service- Our server was nice. Somewhat quiet. No pre-bussing done. No refills offered. Just meh in the service too. One of the owners — Frankie— (overheard his name at another table) never came to our table to check on us. Greeted others though. Very off putting to us since he never came to our table. In our opinion go to V’s off 40. Way better. Similar pricing. Unfortunately, this was our first and last time here.
