Best pancakes of my life. Get the cinnamon roll pancakes. You won't be sorry.

First time to be at The big Biscuit. Very friendly and smiling staff, appetizing menu. Hot coffee and warm smiles. Loved this place ❤

Service was great; fast and friendly. We got there Sunday shortly before the post-church crowd. The picky seven year old didn't like anything, but that's normal. I took off a star for the "breakfast potatoes" (or whatever they called them) that were literally chunks of steak fries. How about some nice pan-fried potato cubes with onions? Otherwise the food and prices were equivalent to other, similar places, though the biscuit was, indeed, tasty.

Great breakfast. Definitely worth the stop. Biscuits speak for themselves.

Visited around 11:30 today and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Our server,Sam, was attentive and had a fun personality- she overheard we were celebrating our friends' bday and surprised all of us with a bday song. Very thoughtful. The food was great! I had THE BOSS TOM in a wrap in-place of bread- deliciouso! Highly recommend. As many times as I've been to the Big Biscuit, various locations, it does not disappoint.

The Big Biscuit has an old-fashioned diner atmosphere with truly hospitable staff. The food is not what I would consider memorable, but rather just a mark above continental breakfast quality at a mid-range hotel. I ordered the Alamo breakfast burrito while my guest ordered the Jim's Platter. Granted I have only visited this location on one occasion, the overall experience was quite underwhelming. Though the wait staff were very friendly and welcoming, the food truly fell short of the mark and it is due to this fact that the rating of a 3 was given. One mark against the staff was that our waitress never procured the hot sauce that my guest requested, but rather came back with the check as if we had overstayed our welcome. The waitress' attitude in general was quite pleasant. I may indeed visit this location to try other menu items to see if my experience was just a case of a momentary slip of food quality and/or standards.

Staff was very nice. I ordered the lean and green but mushrooms were almost raw and some were even cold. The egg whites were runny and the Turkey looked like sliced sand which meat. The fruit was fine as was the coffee. Thank you or your reply. I would definetly do that next time but I was very short on time.

I arrived at 8:30 am. and was seated immediately, then waited a good 10 minutes for a server to show up. My omelet was awful. How do you screw up a ham. Cheese and onion omelet? It looked like it was going to be scrambled eggs, then realized was supposed to be an omelet. Food was warm at best. For price we are paying to eat out food should be good.

We usually enjoy the big biscuit chain... This time, it was so so. 😒 The service, our waiter was personable and did phenomenal service 👏 🤩 The food was delicious and quick. The challenge was the atmosphere and cleanliness of the place. Very beat up and worn out. 😔 Not like a cool, worn-out like a nice dive. Just super rough. To top it off, the restroom was totally disgusting. Smelt of sewer in the hall before you even went into the restroom. Hopefully, they'll work on the restroom and invest in the deterred maintenance. It had a 20-minute wait & was full. So, take care of the place. Freshen up the restroom. Please 🙏

Nice service, great food. Our server kind of disappeared for a sec there at the end. But we got our food ordered and brought out pretty quickly. It's always nice to relax and enjoy the company and food.

Love the Big Biscuit!! I’ve never had a bad experience with the one in Blue Springs, but I’ve eaten at the one in Overland Park also and they are wonderful too! Food is always fantastic and the staff is friendly and warming. I absolutely love their cinnamon roll pancakes, there huge and full of flavor. I always get the traditional eggs Benedict and it’s never a disappointment. I definitely recommend this place. I can’t comment on the lunch items as I’ve never had them, however I’m sure there amazing!

We ordered the Country Benedict, 2 egg with bacon and a biscuit and a Bonut. Eggs were done well, sausage gravy was flavorful, biscuits were springy and not crumbly. However, the highlight of the meal was the Bonut that my friend ordered. It was a biscuit dipped in french toast batter and dusted with powdered sugar. It tasted like a funnel cake and was really good!

This is one of those places that has a large number of regulars, I know 'cause I'm one of them. The Big Biscuit in Blue Springs is always one of my favorite places to go for breakfast, for many good reasons. The food, besides being very traditional and delicious, has some excellent portions for the price. The menu has all the staples you'd want for breakfast, and a bit of lunch. The thing that really keeps me coming back though, is the staff. I eat out a lot, and have experienced the full gambit of service. The service here just couldn't be better, period. I've been so many places that have had good service, and plenty that have impressed me, but the staff at The Big Biscuit in Blue Springs just takes the cake. No matter how busy or slow business may be, you will find yourself treated like a friend. I cannot express enough, my pleasure with the service here. If you want a place that has good breakfast at a good price, and enough of it that you couldn't leave hungry if you tried, then this is the place to go.

Let. Me. Tell. You…. Jessica is AMAZING! My parents always ask for her when they go here. The other day about 15 Boy Scouts and myself ate breakfast here before a big campout. This woman handled that table so smoothly. Efficient. Pleasant. Courteous. Kind. And all the other positive ways!! I really had to tip my hat to her (and my wallet) because she earned it!! I suggest you ask for her anytime you visit this location! I even had to pull the manager aside and rave about her!

Always a great place. One of my favorite breakfast eateries. Staff is always professional, food is always good. Seating is usually quick, and environment is acceptable for any sort of breakfast gathering / mtg.

Always great service and hot fresh food. Way to much food for one person but my Bulldogs love it when I get home.

A very nice diner type environment, portions are wonderful, pricing is very reasonable, staff friendly. And this was my favorite place since my visit for biscuits n gravy

Big biscuit is always a staple for us. This last time we went, we decided to try the bonut (sp?). It was delicious on the outside edges but a bit doughy in the center. Staff is always friendly and never have bad service even when it’s busy.

The Blue Springs location has a little different menu. We went during the week, and even tho they were busy we didn't have to wait. The waiter was great, got everything right. I had the spinach and mushroom omelet with Swiss cheese. Hubby had biscuits and gravy, scramble eggs. It was all cooked perfectly. I had to take half of mine home. So good just a lot for me. We usually go to the one on 40 highway, that is good also. You can't go wrong with either one.

Very busy on Sunday.. for a reason. Every one knows where the good food is. 25 min wait,we were seated after 15min. Food was hot and yummy arrived fast. Friendly staff and very friendly atmosphere. (Older gentleman had a pile of mints for ppl leaving.) All about the biscuits and gravy.

You need to be truly outstanding to get a 5 star rating from me. This place nearly got it. The food was outstanding. Our waitress was fantastic. They're only slip was the delivery of our orders. It was brought out by staff members who didn't take our order. Normally this wouldn't be an issue but those staff members did not use the cute/distinct names in the menu and we (a table of 7) had trouble figuring out who's breakfast was going where. Then, to add more confusion, we ended up with at least one plate of food that we didn't order. Our apologies to whoever ordered the bacon & hashbrowns, but if it's any comfort, it was very tasty! 😜 Overall, this was a very good experience and I would highly recommend The Big Biscuit to anyone passing through the area.
